Great nail art! Salon is very clean and welcoming, lots of stations. They did good eyebrow waxing, too. Prices are very reasonable.

Bad service. Agree with the previous clients. The waxing unit is very bad. I went to wax my underarms.. she said the strands were long and will be charging $20. I was ok with it. The wax was not warm. She applied it with great difficulty on my skin. And so the wax strip didn't come off easily. Everyone will be pulling the strip in opposite direction of the hair growth. And they pulled the strip in the direction of the hair. Even though she pulled it so hard, there were so many hair strands left over and she plucked them with a plucker. It left me in pain for long. Will not be visiting again for waxing. read more

I sadly have to change my review. The best nail techs have left. There is a new manager, she's not the greatest. Every time she wanted my feet back in the water she would pick it up By my ankle and throw it back. Left feet in paraffin wax for about 10 seconds (no joke!) they were very nice and got me in so quickly! I got a shellac manicure and a pedicure and for all the services I recieved I think the price was very reasonable. The total came out to 47 and then gratuity. I will definitely go back. Really the only reason to go here is Lynn. There's a woman that has consistently given me bad pedicure after bad pedicure and each time someone has to fix it. I only continue to go to her because I luck out that she's the only one available. It's thick, doesn't cover the whole nail and pretty amateur. Very average - but gets the job done. I came here with my sister and niece on a busy Friday afternoon. We had to wait 20 minutes even though we had appointments. The lady handling my pedicure was frenzied and hurried as she tried to accommodate 2 people at once. She rushed through the job, with barely any massage and several mistakes on the pedicure I was very disappointed. My sister and niece had similar experiences. Nail & Spa on 85th (same parking lot at PetSmart) HOLY PARADISE!!!! I was in desperate need of a pedi and the spot I used to go to in Kirkland was closed. I wasn't quite sure at first because this place is very small from the outside. But once inside...WOW! Quiet, calm spa music, not much talking, super clean and tasteful decor. But wait, there's more!!! The service was impeccable! I judge pedi's pretty harshly and if you skimp on massage I pretty much won't come back. This massage was every bit as good as any I've ever had before. But wait, there's still more!!! Not just they typical clip & scrub, but a paraffin dip, peppermint wax, hot stones, the works!!! I popped by on a sunny Saturday, which was probably my first mistake - they were super full, so I waited 20 min for a chair. Once I was finally seated, the water was fairly cool and they dumped some blue stuff into the water. Then because they weren't keeping track of customers, they started pedicures on people they seated after me, so it was another 20 min wait. The pedicure itself was ok, but then later in the week, I broke out in bad ezcema on my feet which has never ever happened before. Myself and two friends randomly walked in for pedis and a couple manis. The place was full, but they said there was room. Only waited five minutes or so before we had our chairs. So I walk into this place to get my nails done. I am a walk in, I expect a slight wait. But the place is almost empty and the gal getting her toes done is finished and the is a grandma and granddaughter getting mani pedis. After waiting for almost 15 min one of the workers has finished with the pedi and is now working on grandma. So there are 2 people working on grandma and ignoring me. And now I am sitting in the pedicure chair while they are all working on grandma. Never coming here again read more

The girls here did a great job :) I needed an acrylic fill and they got me in quickly and did a beautiful job re-shaping and polishing. They were all very nice, too! They were closing for the night and instead of rushing me out, the woman doing my nails took her time and made sure my nails were perfect and dry before I left. As an update, it is now one week since having my nails done here and 2 have broken and all nails worn as if they were weeks old. My cuticles are a mess. I have an office job for goodness sake. I've gone to Hawaii for 2 weeks to snorkel, etc and my nails look just as good when I get home as when I left when I've had them done by Special Nails. I really cannot believe this. read more

DONT come here. I got a horrible infection after getting a pedicure. I had to be on antibiotics and had to go to the doctor and have a (mild) FOOT SURGERY. They removed a huge chunk of my nail, and I limped for 3 days. Had to miss work for a day since I work in retail. Clearly, they don't keep their tools clean like they should be. read more

This is one of my favorite nail salons in the area. I have gotten both types of pedicure and shellac manicure. My shellac last 2-3 weeks (minus a little grow out but it never chips). They always do what you ask and will ask questions about length, shape, etc. Their pedicures (especially the deluxe pedicure) are amazing. It feels so good - they are thorough with the paint and give great massages. I accidentally chipped my toe polish one time and came back the next day and they fixed it. I have yet to be disappointed. They also offer water or tea, have a great magazine collection and are just over all friendly and the facility is clean. It is not fancy or over the top, but its a high quality service for a very affordable price. I would highly recommend this nail salon! read more

Visiting my family and my mom made an appointment here for us and my sister. I sat here for 25 minutes while they got their pedicures and I had cold water because every time I asked someone to warm it up they ignored me. I would absolutely not recommend this place - service was terrible. read more

Used to think this was a great place, the plastic covers in the basins for pedicures, therefore no possibility of unhygienic foot baths. Great BUT the tools used aren't sterilized, there is no package that speaks of sterilization just a plastic box containing tools. neither is there a container that with antiseptic or disinfectant that the tools are stored in. Tools are used from one person to another, caps even placed back on nail clippers used to work around the cuticles. I had to come home and soak my feet in Tea Tree Oil disinfectant to ensure no bacteria had been transferred from the tools used to my nails and under my nails. read more

It's always a treat to come here with my daughters for some lovely pampering. I discovered them last year when I was on a weight-loss journey. WORST MOST TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE. I get a mani pedi every two weeks. I went to this place with a friend for a girl date after she had heard good things. Well.... I left crying for the first time in my life and called an uber Bc I couldn't even wait for my friend to be done. She cut my nail completely crooked after I said don't cut it. First she lied and said she didn't when I saw her do it... Then she said she did it Bc it was broken... Lying is a bad side. So then she cut the side of it and my toe started bleeding and now 2 days after it hurts to walk so it could be affected. They charged me $28 for a pedi and polish change which is a rip Bc it's $30 for both but sense I didn't trust her touching my fingers after my horrible experience and just wanted to leave they charged me only $2 less after they butchered my toe and made me cry. I honestly don't know why I paid. I can't even look at my feet I get so upset and I'm going on vacation next week. Thank you for giving me the worst pedicure. Your license should be revoked and you should be labeled as a cruel butcher shop. read more

I got a shellac manicure and a regular pedicure (both for only $48!) and then tramped through the mud for hours on a barefoot hike in Kauai. My toes and fingers still look pristine! I went with two other ladies who had their nails done at other salons and their polish was chipped and mud-stained afterward. I am so impressed by the quality and longevity of these nails. The salon also had an incredible shellac color selection. I will definitely be going back. read more

LOVE MY NAILS BUT WON'T BE BACK - I have been having my nails done by Nee, the owner, for several years. She does an amazing, natural looking set of acrylics (although she does hurt a bit). However, I make appointments so I don't get caught up in the walk-in wait - but she never runs on time. Today I had an 11AM appointment with her, and when I arrived I was told she was out for the entire day (and I only made the appointment yesterday). Someone else offered to do my nails, but I told her no, although she could fix a broken nail. While she fixed the nail, she was talking to the other tech and laughing - I felt like I was in that Seinfeld episode. So, I am now shopping for a new acrylic nail tech b/c I'm tired of being kept waiting when I have an appointment (once I had to wait 40 minutes), and not having her show up. It makes me sad, but I can't do it anymore. read more

The worst pedicure of my life! After trimming the end of my toe off with the nail clippers she kept forgetting which bottle of Polish was my color..... This kept happening because after she applied polish to each toe she would then have to remove the excess polish from around the edges and instead of leaving the polish out she kept putting it back in the basket of 20+ polish colors. I have been here 3 times too many. Rude, man-handles your hands while doing your nails. You know they are talking about you in their dialect when they look at you, then, say something to their co-worker and then they all begin to laugh, and you look up and all the employees are starring at you. This is what I feel the entire time I'm there. I'd like to get to know the person that's doing my nails. I don't care that you have broken English, I just want to get to know you, just a little bit. At least when I speak, it's customary to say something back. Smile sometimes. Some days, I feel that I have the weight of the world on my shoulders, but, I make it a point to be nice to everyone. Personally, I don't like leg/foot massages, and when I tell them I just want my toe nails manicured and polish, and no massage, a cold chill swarms over the whole room and the employees begin a dialogue that feels angry and intense. I was not trying to offend anybody, I just don't want the massage. I always pay the entire cost. Do your business and future clients a favor: Have a conversation with your client, doesn't have to be long.....chatting amongst yourselves in another language, other than English, for long periods of time, when clients are sitting there listening is very uncomfortable...... just saying. Don't file my nails and then throw my hands to the side repeatedly, please be gentle, put them down or to the side with ease. Don't get lit when I don't want my legs/feet massaged, just say OK, will just do your toe nails. When I ask you how your doing today, at least smile if you don't want to speak/answer. Now I know why this big place is always empty. read more
