However, don't bother making appointments on the weekends because regardless you will have to wait at least 45 mins before you're seen. Short summary :Terrible experience. Cheap price but the gel manicure did not last even a week and the pedicure looked awful. There were a lot of angry customers at the salon because of the wait. I had a last minute event to go to and I needed my nails done in a rush so I went here because of their gel manicure and pedicure deal for $40. First of all there were about 5 customers in there who were ready to riot because they overbooked and they were left waiting for hours to get their manicures done after their pedicures. Luckily I went in at the right time so they started my pedi right away. The girl did not speak English. She asked me what color and I said I wanted French. Every nail salon I've ever been to knows what this means and selects the correct color. This girl looked at me like I had 10 heads. So then I attempted to tell her and she was like ok ok and preceded to paint my nails some ugly pink color and when she made a mistake while painting she just tried to cover it up instead of doing the nail over which looked terrible. Overall it looked awful but I was in a rush so I was like whatever. Then they put me on the chair for the gel manicure. Again I tell another lady that I want French. She proceeds to look at me like I'm crazy. Luckily the man doing nails next to her tells her the correct color but then she left me sitting there because she didn't want to do gel nails. After another man yells at her because she kept me sitting there she begrudgingly starts painting my nails before another more friendly lady takes over. The gel manicure looked very nice for a few days (way better than my feet) but after about a week they're peeling at the edges and coming up. My gel manicure usually last about 3 weeks. I don't think they use quality nail polish. Overall I would find another nail salon. read more

I've been going here for years. but this last visit the owner was so rude and totally messed up my french tips. my nails were so awfully done that I could't have french manicure I had to get a dark color to cover up all the screw up she did. and on top of it all she was extremely rude telling me that she just came back from a 3 month vacation and it was her first day back that's why she messed up my nails?!?!?! does that even make sense? she always did my nails very nice but from now on I will never ever go back there just because of her attitude. read more

They do a very good job and have a great selection of colors but when they get crowded they act like they have no idea what to do. A few staff members are nice but it is not a warm and fuzzy environment. Definitely convenient and they do a good job but is a last resort type place for me. In addition on a Sunday was a huge wait and they made no effort to conceal they were overbooked and had no idea how to deal. I just went to this establishment to have a nice relaxing pedicure with my young adult daughter and chat and catch up with her. After we picked our colors, they sent us down to 2 chairs next to each other...only to then move my daughter to the other end of the room because the "girl" a couple chairs down was meeting her friend who was not there yet. My conversation with my daughter existed of text messaging and ASL across the room to each other. POOR BUSINESS DECISION!!! My daughter and I were 3/4 of the way through with our pedicures by the time her "girlfriend" showed up. We have been going to the Nail Clinc for about 15 years, for occassional pampering not a constant thing....way back when Miss May owned it. It is a shame that they treat their customers this way. Needed a place last minute and I had only an hour. They did my mani and pedi simultaneously. Very accommodating, polite, and kind. Used clean tools and products. Wide variety of colors and brands (actually a little overwhelming, in a good way) They put a book rest on my lap so I could read my magazine, very nice touch. A bit pricey for the caliber. It's a hit or miss with this place. Nail clinic used to be my favorite nail salon, but recently their work hasn't been too great. Every time I get comfortable with a specific nail tech, they leave the salon. I was a regular customer would come come every two weeks for a gel mani and regular pedi, but I'm going to take my business elsewhere. The staff is extremely friendly, but only about 2 speak English which makes it very difficult to communicate. They used to sterilize their instruments which I thought was amazing, but now they just dip it in the blue water for .5 seconds before using it on me. read more

Never again! From the moment i sat down i knew i should have gotten up and left . The chair seat was ripped so they cover it with a decorative pillow and a wood beaded placemat. Then the water was cold asked 3 times to make it warmer but the girl didnt understand finally a patron interpreted for me. So she begins, I reach over to put the chair massager on and guess what didn't work, she then turns on the jets and to no surprise only 1 worked. There were 2 open chairs but apparently they aren't working either. I will say the actual pedicure was very good so for her they get 2 stars. The place is nicely decorated but don't let that fool you like it did me the equipment is in much need of an update . I will not be returning. read more

There are many nail salons in NJ. This salon uses old nail polish and does not clean there pedicure basins very well. There pricey as well.

I used to go here all the time. I've gone here twice in the past two months and it's changed and become one of the worst places I've gone too. I was the only person in the salon and my pedi was so rushed it was done in less than 15 mins. My nails are all crooked and she tried to tell me my toes were crooked. Hahaha alright. This was my first time going to this nail salon and I got gel extensions. After 2 days one of my nails broke, so I had to go get it fixed again. I went back and after few days, all of my nails just started breaking and coming off so easily, they did not even last a week. I paid $70, but it was not worth at all. I was willing to spend good money on the best spa pedicure, and that exactly what I got! Maragaret was funny, friendly and knew her stuff! I am a stickler for cleanliness and proper sanitation, so I was glad to see all implements being freshly opened out of packages. For $60, I got a total pedicure package, including a 20 minute leg/ foot massage, mud, special oils from a menu that I chose, the works! Where do I start? Well my mother and I arrived around 3:45. Where seated for our pedicures 15 mins later but waited 45 mins before anyone started my pedicure. My mom half that time was waiting to have her gel manicure started after they did her pedi. While she waited they took a person who came in about 20-30 mins after us. Then they took 2 people that had appointments. Now I get that they made appointments, but out of courtesy for those of us that have already been then for an hour, I would have expected them to kindly explain that they were backed up and have people that have been waiting for an hour, do you mind waiting a little. Then if the customer would have said yes, I would understand. But they didn't even have the courtesy to ask. On top of that they kept telling people coming in that the wait was 30 mins when in reality it was 30-45. They also have certain colors labeled as gel, when in they are actually regular nail polish that's supposed to last 10 days... I was for the most part satisfied with coming here before and didn't mind driving a little to get here. But this was beyond ridiculous. If it wasn't because my mom was traveling early the next day, we would have been out of here sooner and not dealt with this. read more

Went in because the sign on the door said free eye brow wax with $30 mani so I got a gel mani by the man who reeked of stale cigarettes the whole time and they charged me $10 for the eye brow wax. I had a 9:15 appt for pedi/gel mani. They started me on time but I didn't get out until 11am, so so very slow. After my pedi they left me in a chair while they started on someone else who walked in after me!! I finally asked who would be doing my nails and they sent one of the pedicure girls over and she was young, inexperienced and SUPER SUPER SLOW. THE price of $39 is what draws me to this place and I live within walking distance, however, this last experience did it for me. I am so surprised by the poor reviews. I have frequented salons in little falls and surrounding towns and I think this one is the best of any others I've tried. They always accommodate my appointment time and if I even wait 5 minutes they are so apologetic. They are friendly and they provide quality services every single time. The pedicures are really well done. They do a good scrub, the massages are long enough that you actually feel like you got a massage and they use the hot stone. I usually go on a weekday so I can't comment on their weekend appointments but I've been there on a Friday afternoon when it was jam packed and they were still accommodating, professional and nice. I am so disappointed with this nail salon. I have been coming here faithfully every two weeks for over a year. I never complained about the long wait or spending four hours there for a gel filling and pedicure, because I really loved how my nails would look. But I felt it was necessary to write this review after my last few experiences. I did have an issue one time after looking at my finished nails. The polish was very sloppy. Since im spending 70 dollars I decided to speak up. I didnt realize that would affect how I would be treated every visit after that. The employees there can just be down right rude and nasty. The girl Angela also has no problem rolling her eyes and giving you dirty looks while your there. My very last visit there entailed three girls doing pedicures making rude comments about me in there language. I guess they didnt realize that I could understand Spanish. I dont Care how great of a job they do. For the money I spend there I deserve to be respected as does any other customer who shows respect as well. I am truthfully amazed by these good reviews because I had a TERRIBLE experience at this salon, possibly the worst I have ever had. I was referred by a friend who said she had gone the day before and her nails looked awesome. When I walked in I was ignored at the door, I stood there as countless members of the staff looked at me, but no one greeted me or tried to help me. I am a very patient person, so I did not complain and waited anyway. After saying hello to a few people trying to get a response I was further ignored. I stood there for 10 minutes until someone asked me what I wanted. I was told to sit in one of the pedicure chairs which was dirty and watched as the owner Margaret told a staff member to clean it and get started. The staff member walked away and continued doing something else. The same thing happened as she told 4 other staff members. Again, being patient, I turned the little massage chair on and didn't complain expecting that someone would be with me shortly. Another woman walked in and was greeted, yet spoken to rudely to come sit at a table when she stopped to grab a magazine on the way. She was probably thankful she did grab one because we sat there for 45 minutes. When Margaret asked me what I wanted while working on the person next to me she was very short with me trying to force the gel coating on me, yet when I asked if they had samples of the colors before I decided was extremely rude as if I was wasting her time with a question. I sat there for another 15 minutes in addition to the 45 and got up after 2 staff members finished their clients and went and sat down elsewhere without even looking at me or the other woman waiting only to have a walk-in come in and be taken immediately while we were ignored. As if to add insult to injury, the same friend who referred me was told their nails would not chip for at least to weeks and had a peeling thumb the next morning, when she returned to ask Margaret to fix it being that she paid extra for the chip-proof $35 manicure, she looked at the nail and said ehh, its only a little bit", without intention to fix it.
