Horrible experience . I've been going here for past 3 years and today I went to get short sns and the lady doing my nails didn't ask me how short she just cut basically the entire tip off. Then she left black dried powder on my skin and my nails look unshapped. There no shine to the nail it just looks awful. With it being basically my own nail she then went on to tell the lady it's $65. She was very disrespectful and didnt even talk to me. I have been coming to this place for at least 6-7 years. I arrived on 4/22/2022 around 6 pm and selected the luxury spa with hot stones pedicure ($55) with polished nails ($10). This certainly was NOT the service I expected. I should have left when they asked me to pay after 5 minutes of service saying "the computers are closing." Again, I have utilized this place for years. Never have I been asked to pay first. My pedicure was basic at most. Just a technician rubbing lotion on my legs with cold stones. Nothing felt pleasant today. The man who painted my nails left as soon as he was finished. He must have known that the outcome would not be good. The looked pretty at first. As the nails dried, there were weird creases in it. I told the lady doing my pedicure that the polish was not good. The manager came to look. She told me she had to go and to come back tomorrow. She said, I have to go home." She could have apologized since she clearly could see the nails were not up to par. I explained that i could not return tomorrow because I fly out of town tomorrow and will be gone all next week. She said I should have come earlier or called first. So, I asked her if she was blaming me for the nail polish being old. She basically blamed me and left in anger. I just spent 65.00 for awful service. This is the very last time I will ever step foot in this salon. This is why customers are now going to the salon across the street next to Kroger. The pictures tell the story. The older gentlemen who did them caught an attitude when I asked him not to drill my nail bed because they're thin. It went down hill from there. He cut me and rushed over every detail. He didn't do the style I asked for and I get long expensive sns nails and gel toes with the $37 pedicure. I asked the manager and he himself if they could do it and they said yes. They "discounted" $20 when it was all said and done for someone who comes to them every time I get my nails done. Terrible terrible terrible!!!!! I wish I hadn't lost the photo I took while getting a new phone so everyone could see what I'm talking about. The nail techs here do not seem like they know what they're doing. The girl even taking care of my 6 year old was completely lost and she couldn't even speak english to communicate with me. I got an upgraded pedi that was about 32$...if you want to upgrade your pedi for the massage forget it..because you won't get anything close to one. All she did was just rub the lotion back and forth on my legs without any pressure at all. One weird thing they do is they put the mask on your legs not your feet! I've worked at 2 nail salons and I'm a nail tech myself...and you're supposed to put the mask on your feet it's not for your legs. That's how clueless these people are. Needless to say the mask made my legs feel cool and it felt like it was burning my skin! DUH because it's not for the legs!! I had to get it taken off early. Finally the paint job. Are you kidding me!? I could've painted better with my eyes closed. The paint did not go anywhere near the cuticles there were huge gaps all around the nail bed with the paint just smack dab in the middle of my nail. I was pressed for time, aggravated and too annoyed to get it fixed so I just left and never going back! read more

Two days after my manicure, my nails chipped. I contacted the salon. Due to the holiday, the salon was closed. After contacting the owner today, he instructed me to come in for a re-polish. Upon entering the nail salon, I was met with rudeness and unprofessionalism of the owner and the nail technicians. He spoke loudly in front of customers stating that, "he had not seen my nails and stated he would 'touch it up'." At that point I said it was unacceptable and they must be re-polished. The nail tech reluctantly re-polished my nails. However, the polish is so thick that it will take 3 days to completely dry. BEWARE!! If you are satisfied with nails, no problem; however if you need to go back for an issue be ready for non-customer service. I will not spend my money at this shop ever again. read more

Everything they do, from gel nails(3 days)to nail decorating l(gems fell off the same evening) to SNS that I have had done at many places and have had no problem for two weeks when it's time to replace sometimes I can even go three weeks. Theirs lasted 5 days l. they happily replaced the 2 that came off, but the nexy day others came off. It Took a couple of days for me to get back over there at which time they said it's already been two weeks and they wouldn't do anything about it I tried it o show her photos on my phone datemarking when they came off, but her response was GET THIS: "Your people think that if you spend extra it supposed to last a whole month" Excuse me? Your people? They will bow and scrape to caucasians,and make sure they get experienced nail techs, but if you have any color in you (or are unattractive)and go on a weekend, they will put you in the back room and stick you with newbies and people with terrible attitudes who act like they're doing you a favor. I have used nail doctor for years now. They have expanded and the remodel looks great! I never had a issue until recently when there was a miscommunication between Tram and I about a full set I wanted. She misunderstood me and made a scene in front of all the customers and employees and refused to back down. I have visited recently afterwards and her attitude has changed and all seems fine. I prefer Lam (a male) to do my nails and Tram to do my eyebrows. All the girls who do the pedicures do great and use timers for massages! Such a relaxing spa! read more

I've been going here off and on (depending on where i live) for over 10yrs. They expanded over the past few years and are able to work in additional clients. I'll admit I've had less than quality work done by at least one person in there BUT that can't hold weight for the entire staff there. Once you find specific ppl that do a great job with your nails, toes and eyebrows, just keep making appointments with the same people. They are very personable and remember you when you return. I use to go here all the time when I was in high school and then I moved away from Snellville. Fed up with the mediocre nail salons near me I made the 25 minute drive back to the area and The Nail Doctor. This is my "go to" place again, I won't go anywhere else. The customer service is excellent. I've never had a problem with any nail tech and every time I've had a pedicure I have been there for at least an hour in the chair because they take their time with you and DO NOT rush. I also like how sanitary they are and each customer gets their own tools and liner in the bowl. The lady who does eyebrows is great too and does a good job. The only reason for a 4 star is because they get SLAMMED on the weekends and are very busy. Go late on an afternoon. read more

Absolute worst place to go to. They rush you in an out. Have no care about customer service. Over charge you and give you the absolute worst results. Complete waste of time. I recently got a pink and White acrylic full set and didn't even take in consideration of being gentle. The after math off all but 30 minutes turned into a nightmare. Worst full set I have ever received. The next day I go back and ask for them to redo them. They then proceed to tell me that they will just color over it for free. DO NOT VISIT THIS SALON. I have been going to this location for years and even make an appointment with the same technician each time. On my last visit, I got a pedicure and a gel manicure. The tech said she would help me out by applying some acrylic powder to some tiny cracks I had in the side of my nails. She put the powder in a huge glob over the crack but assured me she would go back and file it where it was basically undetectable. This was not the case. After repeatedly saying it looked bad she continued to go ahead and apply the gel polish over it. It still did NOT look good and I asked to maybe pick another color. I chose a new color and she continued to hurriedly put the new polish on top of the other color which caused the colors to mix together and it looked AWFUL. I then asked if she could take it all off and start over so that she could just file all the awful powder off of them and start over. This resulted in her talking crap about me in another language to the owner, who then came over and began to BERATE me loudly in front of the whole salon and told me that I was not allowed to change my mind on the polish or the powder and that they WOULD NOT fix the horrible job they had done to that point. I then told her I would tip the tech for her time and pay for the services they had already completed but I was not interested in staying because at this point she was loudly screaming at me in front of everyone. She told me I couldn't leave because I had already "come in there to waste their time." The nail tech also told me her manager only allows them to spend a certain amount of time with each client regardless of whether or not you are happy. I literally had to pay my $50 tab for the crazy owner to let me leave. When I told my mother about the incident she insisted I go back to the salon with her to try to get my money back. We calmly brought up the circumstances to the owner again and she and a man that work there began to SCREAM at us in front of all the customers. The man nail technician was screaming in our faces and SLAMMING HIS FISTS ON THE GLASS FRONT COUNTER CALLING ME A LIAR AND SAYING THAT I HAD ONLY COME IN AND CAUSED THAT PROBLEM BECAUSE I WANTED MY NAILS DONE FOR FREE. After I have been going there for years and years. We left because they were getting violent about it and told us if we were unhappy we would just have to shut up and find somewhere else to go. AND TRUST ME. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN. PS- They also up charge you without notice and add on little extra services here and there without notifying you it is extra and then they charge you for it. Absolutely HORRIBLE service! Went in for a simple manicure and needed to repair one broken nail instead came out with nails worse than what I came in with. Tried to get them to fix it and they were so rude about it and made it even worse by just applying additional layers of polish. So I proceeded to ask for the owner so we could either redo my nails or refund me for the services I paid for however they again refused. I have never come across a nail salon that completely LACKS quality customer service and professionalism but what do you expect when the owners themselves could care less about their professionalism, the quality of work, or how they treat customers. The powder application was thick and he would not trim my nails how I asked. The he polish job was even worse. The application was uneven and made my nails look super thick. On top of that he made the tips of my nails way wider than the base so that they looked extremely unnatural. There are several much better salons around the Lawrenceville/Snellville area and this one does not measure up. For years they have worked around my busy work and travel schedule so happily, and their manicures, fill-ins and pedicure last a really long time. They are sooo careful with everything...and so thoughtful. Everytime Van gives me a pedicure, the first thing she does is put a pillow behind my back. She treats me like a china doll! Excellent spot to get your nails done. If you want to go to a place that is worth your money, you need to come here. They take their time and actually us a timer when massaging your feet during the pedicure to make sure you get your full time for the massage. I have been to places where they are suppose to give a 5 minute massage per foot and it lasts for 2 minutes. Definitely worth the money. This is the only nail spa I visit. read more
