I'm sure it might have taken the staff a little off guard when three men aged 18, 43, and 73 walked in together and asked for pedicures. But they didn't shy away and were quite gracious. They did an excellent job. They were friendly and conversational, which I always appreciate. They did a great job on making us comfortable and welcome, especially since one of us was getting a pedicure for the first time! And we all agreed: our feet loved the attention, and the nails are so much more presentable than they were before, which is really the point. None of us needed painted nails, but if anyone of us asked, I'm sure they'd have done it without hesitation and done a fine job! Excellent work. read more

Disappointed! I walked in, only 1 other customer was there and I was told to pick out my color. As I was picking out my color, a worker approached me and asked if I had an appointment. I told her I did not. They were not busy at all and it was more than an hour before they closed. SHE TURNED ME AWAY!! I wanted a simple pedicure for my trip to Cabo, nothing fancy. I have never been to a nail shop who didn't want my business. Not sure if they will stay open much longer with business like this! I went there and had a full set done. In less then a week my nails was popping off like press on nails! I work to hard for my money to waste it! The technician talked me into getting acrylic nails instead of dip powder, telling me it is the same and will save me money. Upon checking out I was charged $55 for "getting two dip colors". After paying $55, I was sitting, waiting for my friend's nails to be finished. While waiting, my technician came over to engage a confrontation with me in front of the entire salon over what I was unhappy with. The end result being the technician offering me a "free fill in" at this Hellatious place I would never ever return to This man should have been a used car salesman instead of a nail technician. This was not my first visit to Nail Envy. I came once on Mother's Day and then again every two weeks after I returned home from school. I am always pleased with how my nails turn out. I do feel like sometimes my nails aren't always the same shape or length on both hands. Also I feel there should be more attention paid to the cuticle area. The filing around the cuticles was ok but once the nail polish was placed on top, you could really see where it was blended well and where it wasn't. Also I feel the nail polish should be cleaned up a little better; maybe with acetone and a brush rather than with fingernails. It just ended up making the nail polish spread on my skin. My pedicure was absolutely lovely. The woman who did my feet was very nice and gentle. She worked well with my extreme ticklishness. My toes came out extremely well and I was more than pleased. The customer service at Nail Envy is impeccable. They are extremely nice and respectful and work hard to make sure you are nothing but satisfied. read more

Decided to try this salon, as my friend/neighbor is a customer here. Prices were reasonable. I opted for a pedicure; one of my absolute favorite indulgences. I noticed a couple of red flags as time passed. First, after the customer next to me finished and left the salon, nobody cleaned the bowl! That's seriously disgusting and a health hazard. It definitely wasn't because it was busy and perhaps they got distracted. It was mid week and quiet. Strike one! Next, the manicurist that was working on my feet, dropped the cuticle tool on the floor and then, picked it up and threw it right back in the bin with the other tools, without disinfecting it! OMG! I'm certainly not a germ-o-phob, but common sense please. Yuck! Strike two! So disappointed. Let's just say that I won't be returning. read more

Went on my lunch break to have my OPI Gel polish soaked off and re-added. It took 30 min to soak the color off; the woman proceeded to use her finger nails to scrape off the color that stayed. She cut and filed my nails and cuticles. The beds of my nails are scraped up and rough. They are cut crooked and filed unevenly. I left after an hour with no color and damaged crooked nails. Staff that spoke to me (women who checked me in) was very nice. The shopped seemed clean. I would not return. read more

I've been coming to Nail Envy for more than 5 years and I love it there. Amber and Jeff do a great job with my pink and white nails at a very reasonable price. They always seem happy to see me and offer me a bottled water and ask about my children. They are renovating the shop and have brand new spa chairs arriving in 2 weeks that are designed for cleanliness. Highly recommend! read more

I was extremely excited to get my nails done and the whole experience was just terrible. The color selection for dip was very limited. The guy who did my nails was extremely rude and the color that I picked was different than what I received. The guy doing my nails used the wrong powder on top of my nails and had to drill all of it off and re dip all my nails. He was sloppy and left them very spotchy with several white spots showing. After having my nails for not even a week one of my dip nails broke (which i've never had happen before) so I went back and asked for them to fix it. There were only 3 customers in the store and I had to wait 30 minutes. The guy finally redid my nail, and it was a completely different shape then the rest of my nails. I figured that it would be free as a courtesy and since I hadn't even had them done for a week but the guy charged me. I will never be going back here again. I got a shellac manicure there and it was not good at all. Looked like I painted one coat of regular polish on my nails myself instead of the polished shiny look that shellac should deliver. They don't even use all shellac products. I have noticed that some places aren't as good with shellac as others so I always ask for a at least a 4 day guarantee of not starting to peel off and the lady agreed. 2 days later it looked horrible and I called to let the owner know I could come in and show her the bad job but I would not be able to get it soaked off and fixed until after Christmas bc I just didn't have the time. My only time to do my nails was when I first went in. I ended up getting sick so I waited until the 4th day (which the lady who did my nails said was fine) only to be told it was too late and there was nothing she would do. After trying to reason with her and get her to honor what her employee told me, she flat out said she just didn't care and was practically yelling by the end of the conversation. I hate bad customer service! We own a business and would NEVER treat a customer the way she treated me. There are many great salons around this area - Natural Nail Clinic, Simply Nails...ect. It's no wonder all of them were completely booked and Nail Envy was practically empty. Don't risk having the same experience as me and go somewhere else with better service, experience, and products! read more

I went to Nail Envy today and I will never go back there. My "nail technician" spent about half of the time on her phone via her Bluetooth talking and laughing away with no regard to me, her CUSTOMER. I've been getting my nails filled every 2 weeks for 3-4 years - I know how it's done. She didn't properly buff and file my nails, didn't have me wash my hands after applying the new acrylic and buffing it (resulting in bubbling underneath the polish), didn't apply a clear base coat, and she didn't apply the gel polish properly. She also didn't have me dry them properly under the blue light. She was so rough on my cuticles that they bled and had me on the verge of tears - that was BEFORE she doused my hands with the rubbing alcohol. My fingers were throbbing after she was finished with all of that. Not only does the polish look terrible, but because she didn't apply it correctly, the clear coat isn't smooth and shiny like it's supposed to be - it's dull and uneven. The one and only coat of polish that she applied, which I may add by the way is BLACK, is streaked because - HELLO!! - a color that dark definitely needs several coats. When I pointed it out to her, she said it was "just the lighting inside." Yeah right. When I also pointed out that polish was all over my skin and was sticking to my blood stained cuticles, she said that it would "wash away" after I washed my hands. Seriously?? Every customer should walk out of a nail salon with 100% professional looking nails, not looking like they had their nails painted by a 5 year old. She claimed that the salon was empty because of today's rain storms, but the truth is because she is terrible. I can't speak for the other 2 people who were working there. Not add insult to injury, they're overpriced - $30 for a fill and gel polish. It should have been absolutely no more than $27. At the HIGHEST. She also asked me how far along I am in my pregnancy, and when I told that I'm 23 weeks, she said that my belly looked "huge" for being this "early" into my pregnancy and asked me two different times if I'm "sure" that I'm not carrying twins. Seriously. I left Nail Envy feeling like an enormously fat woman with jacked up nails and aching cuticles. I will never in my life go back to that place. read more
