I've been trying to find that affordable, convenient and high quality gel manicure and I'm getting closer and closer. I found Nail Fervor on Yelp one day when trying to find one close to home - I made the mistake of not making an appointment and ended up waiting about 40-45 minutes on a Monday night. The location is very unassuming and the mom and pop feel is very apparent. They seem to really know their regular customers. Gel mani only $25! They removed my prior polish and did a full manicure. I was shocked when I was paying, since they didn't offer me a rate sheet beforehand. The man who did my nails was very quiet and sweet. It made the 45 minute wait a lot more tolerable. The nail polish brands are not as nice as I usually see at nail salons, and you can tell in the quality of the polish. It didn't stay on as long and chipped easily. But you get what you pay for. It's still better than a regular polish. I would definitely recommend making an appointment. It would save you time and money. If I had known the wait would be 45 minutes, I would have left sooner and come back another day (with an appointment). But the convenient location and the price are too appealing to not come back. read more

They have amazing customer service + get incredible feet massages, but I've gone multiple times & they always miss the mark on my nails (whether it be shellac or sns) Today, they were so rough with my sns manicure that two of my fingers were bleeding & then they put the oil on and it was stingy my cuts. I've been going to Nail Fervor for over 4 years off and on. Saturday was my usual two week pamper session and also preparing for spring. Mani/pedi session. I only like for Henry or his wife Pam to do my nails. However Henry was booked and thank goodness Pam was available. Kim did my pedicure and she's always gentle along with a funny personality. Went here a few times because the workers are really nice; however, their quality of work is below average. Both times I got a gel manicure which starts peeling off in less than 24 hours. They don't last long but for it to start chipping in less than 24 hours is unsatisfactory. I wasn't even doing any manual/hard labor for them to come off. I will not be returning. read more

I stopped in for a pedicure with a friend on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn't very busy so we were seated and tended to right away. The place has been here 12-13 years so the interior is not fancy, and the material on some of the chairs has cracked and is being held together by black duct tape (which caused the chair to feel scratchy on my legs). They don't have a very large collection of colors but they have the basic colors from OPI, Essie and another brand I don't recall. The staff was nice and the prices seemed average ($28 for pedi/mani, $18 for pedi). If you are in the area and want to be seen quick and don't need something really fancy I would recommend this place. read more

What happened to greeting customers when they enter your business. I'm patronizing your business so your techs should be greeting me. One expected me to yell across to her what service I wanted -NOT. She said something in her language with an edge to her tone and another woman came to the desk. (Newsflash: It's obvious your talking about a customer even though you switch up the language.) Her demeanor was not much better. Tech was inexperienced, young girl sitting next to her working on computer served as her translator was slightly rude in that when I asked questions she gave me the annoyed sour face - not a good look sis. Overall, the service was slow and mediocre. I am in the market for a new nail salon and thought this may be the one but not after todays experience. I couldn't wait to get out of there. I read some older reviews and first they have new message chairs that are amazing they don't thrash you out of your seat. The hand message was amazing and i went with the $23 pedi with calus removal. She had someone waiting so i thought i would feel rushed not at all i mean this message was amazing. I came in a Thursday so it wasn't so busy and was here about 40 minutes. They have many pedi options to choose from. I was able to close eyes and relax. I also appreciate that thier wasnt so much taking among them. Tried many places my first year after moving to the Dunwoody area. This place is the best I found and now have been a loyal customer for two years. The owners are very friendly, personable yet professional. Other reasons I return here ever two weeks for manicure/ pedicures: 1. Comfortable new chairs 2. Appointments always seem on time ( I am very busy and if I make an appointment, I consider it a promise for service. Worst place by far. I had this elder lady doing my nails. I originally came in wanting a gel set, but was convinced to do SNS. First the tray they brought over was full of "dust", next most of the bonders were empty. I don't know how this lady never got up to grab a new bottle. She was barely putting product on my nail. She didn't even do enough layers, I had spots where there was no product/color. Not to mention she sliced my finger a few times. And didn't attend to it until after the service was complete... I came in wanting a coffin set and left with a smaller square looking shape. I complained to the manager and he tried to fix it but ended up cutting my cuticle. He really couldn't save my nails because I had an exam to be at in 10 min. Just overall bad experience. Never going back. I wanted to rip my nails off immediately! Maybe the worst manicure I have gotten in my life. I'd say I have been getting manicures regularly for about 10 years and never have I been CUT to the point of BLEEDING by my manicurist MULTIPLE times. She tried to tell me it was my "dry skin" okay then why has this never happened before? I have always had "dry skin". I went in to get my acrylics removed and only went to Nail Fervor because it's next to Azima Hair Salon which is fabulous. I had to wait forever on a weekday morning...and then got the worst manicure. I'm just praying I don't get an infection or fungus because she continued to polish despite my blood surely getting on the nail polish brush. Never going back. You shouldn't either. This is my favorite nail salon in the Atlanta area. The staff is friendly, and they work on you right away. It's not a fancy place, but they make up for it in their work. They do a great job at making you comfortable, and if you're getting a mani/pedi you will have two people working on you at once, cutting the time it takes in half. They clean, cut and trim well. They spend a good amount of time massaging, which I enjoy. I love that they even give a bit of a shoulder/neck massage for the manicure. They also put your hands in little warmer bags for the manicure. At the end I always leave happy. If you're having trouble finding a good nail place, try this one! read more

I work around the dunwoody area and my commute is an hour easy. I found this place last year while I was pregnant and in need of some TLC for my feet that I couldn't reach. Well I've been coming back since then for my mani/pedi and waxing. Service is very professional and they really try to hold a good conversation. Henry is very sweet and so is the rest of the team. I brought my sister here also and she is in love with them. We even brought our friends and family for a birthday and to my surprise they gathered us at the end and sang happy birthday to my cousin!!! To me, professionalism, skill, and cleanliness are important and they have all three. I even waxed my upper lip for the 1st time here. They are located off Mt. Vernon next to the BP gas station at the 4 way intersection. I've been to so many nail shops where quality is not there, or you feel like they are talking about you, polish comes off in 2 days, or they cut too close and make you bleed. I love this place. I have been in Atlanta for 20 years and tried so many nail salons before coming to Nail Fervor about 2 years ago on the recommendation of my hairdresser. They not only have wonderful service, they are so nice and know you by name and make you feel very comfortable. The owners are married and have had the place for many years and the same staff as well. You can tell they are a big family. I love my gel nails and amazing long pedicure when I go there. After driving back to my nail tech, from where I moved from over a year, I really wanted to find a place with good customer service and ability to do my nails that I was accustomed to. Pam at nail fervor didn't disappoint! I had an appt at 2pm, walked in and was greeted immediately. Within 2 minutes Pam was chatting with me, asking my nail preferences.
