Long story short, my previous nail tech cancelled on me last minute. I got super lucky after reaching out to Lush Lyfe and they booked me the next day! Kiet is super detailed with his work. The perfect shaping, the creative freestyle designs, and his kind hospitality makes me want to keep coming back here. He doesn't charge for extra length and goes above & beyond with the designs. I'm very picky when it comes to nails, but this salon is on top with the latest trends. I've seen pictures of Lan and Tiana's work, and they both do a consistently excellent job too. Lastly, I also got an acrylic pedicure by Kim and she did an awesome job! The price is worth it. I seriously can't stop looking at my nails because they are so perfect!! I also love how they do not rush your service since it is via appointment only, no walk-ins. This is my new go-to!

TLDR; more affordable place to get a gel manicure but come with an open mind. Staff are nice but…read moreyou must bring up issues to them early on (before you put in UV light). Details: Made a same day reservation online for gel x removal (set from another place) and gel manicure but ended up changing the manicure to have gel builder so my nails can still be as strong. I had Quy as my nail artist and he was overall good but needed some help. The removal process was different than what I'm used to. After shaving off the coating, he soaked my hands in a cup of acetone and repeated that for about 3-4 times. After each soak, he would wipe my hands with a paper towel which was interesting. This process took about 30 or so minutes. After that, he cut, filed and shaped my nails. My nails were just long enough to have them almond as I asked but he shaped them pretty round. I had to ask him again to make them more pointy. I also asked if we could use gel builder instead of regular gel so my nails can stay strong and he confused that by thinking I needed extensions to put the gel builder on top. Just as he said he should I do dip powder instead, thankfully his coworker let him know he can use gel builder as a base too so we were able to continue. I will say, this is where his gel experience started to show because he would paint my each hand then put it in the UV light to cure/dry. If you've done gel before, you'd know that 1-2 fingers can be painted and dried at a time so it's a long and tedious process. But it's necessary so that each finger is dried properly to apply the next coat and doesn't get messed up string the application because they're still wet. I think he wasn't aware of that and just wanted to be quick and efficient. But 1 minute for the entire hand to dry was not enough and my coat was still tacky. I raised it to him and he said it's fine which ended up not when it came to the end. He was flexible whenever I asked for thin French tip design and when I asked for a charm midway but not too late. He did the French tip pretty well but i noticed he didn't connect the end lines higher like other salons I've been so that if you see a side view of the nails, you'd see a gap, especially when it grows out. I pointed it out to him and he tried correcting but I just let it go - it's a very minute detail. After that, he applied top coat which I was surprised because we hadn't done the charm yet. I'm used to the charms and designs being applied first and then you cure it and then top coat it. And as expected he worked on one hand at a time it was still tacky after curing. When it came to the charm, a different staff member applied it for me. They have a variety of charms which is nice. But their application was a little sus for me. They don't apply top coat over the charm - just at the base so the charm is exposed and unprotected and got caught in clothing. They also don't realize you cannot put the entire hand and twist it for the thumb to cure. My charm slide off while curing because of the hand position, so they head to start over which became messy. I honestly would only come back for a simple design and gel manicure.

My pedicures always last a month. The cuticles are always cut thoroughly. My nails are filed to the perfect shape and lengths. They are gentle with my hands and feet as well. I rarely do my nails anymore, but I do get manicures without polish. It feels so nice to have my nails refreshed!

A simple conversation or asking if I was okay with letting her go first would have gone a long way. This wasn't the first time something like this had happened, but it was the first time I spoke up. I let the staff know I didn't think it was fair and decided to leave. For me, it wasn't about being first--it was about feeling that my time was valued and respected. Jennie did my wedding nails, and I truly couldn't be happier. I've been getting my nails done for over 15 years, and she is honestly one of the best nail artists I've ever been to. I told her these were my wedding nails, and she went above and beyond to make sure everything was absolutely perfect. She paid attention to every little detail, took her time, and made me feel so cared for. The wonderful lady who did my pedicure was just as amazing. She was so kind, thorough, and never rushed. Everyone in the salon was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I had read a few reviews mentioning that the salon is always busy, and after my visit, I completely understand why. They are busy because they're genuinely great at what they do. Even with a full salon, I never felt like anyone was rushing through my appointment. Everyone took their time and made sure their work was the best it could be.
