I really enjoy coming here. From the easy online booking, to the quietness inside, to the quality of work from the technicians, this has been my favorite nail salon since a couple of years ago. My pedicures always last a month. The cuticles are always cut thoroughly. My nails are filed to the perfect shape and lengths. They are gentle with my hands and feet as well. The staff here was extremely kind, respectful, and welcoming, so I have absolutely no complaints about their attitude or customer service. Unfortunately, the quality of my nails was probably the most disappointing I've experienced, especially considering the $180 price before tip. I scheduled a manicure with an ombré effect, which was an additional $20. I've had ombré done at other salons many times, so I know you have to trust the process and was hopeful they would come together with the topcoat. Unfortunately, the ombré had a very noticeable straight line across my nails and looked quite uneven. My right hand looked slightly better, but my left hand was bad enough that I asked for it to be redone. After attempting to fix it, we ultimately decided to skip the ombré altogether and go with a solid color. I really appreciated that my manicurist was kind and took the extra time to make the change, but I was still disappointed because I've used the same inspiration photo at multiple salons without ever having this result. Once I got home and looked more closely, I noticed quite a few imperfections, including polish left around my cuticles and an overall lack of clean finishing. I'll likely need to reshape my nails and clean up some of the leftover polish myself. My pedicure was also disappointing. I requested Flower Power #973, which I expected to be a milky, white-pink shade. Because I was getting my manicure and pedicure at the same time, I couldn't see the color being applied. When I finally saw my toes, the color was much more of a bright Barbie pink and looked very different from what I had requested. I mentioned the difference and was told it was likely because it was a new bottle, but unfortunately it still wasn't the color I was expecting. Overall, I truly want to emphasize that the staff was incredibly nice and thoughtful, and the salon itself is absolutely adorable. I loved the pink interior and thought the space was one of the cutest I've seen in a long time. However, for $180 before tip, I was very disappointed with the final result. I've had much better experiences elsewhere for significantly less, so unfortunately I don't think I'll be returning. read more

My daughter and I scheduled our first visit to this salon for her birthday today. We both opted for the Select pedicures. The technicians were welcoming, offered us beverages, and not pushy about doing other services. About a half hour later, we did end up doing manicures and the technicians were very accommodating. My daughter got gel-x extensions and the technician free-handed the French manicure. The technician did a great job and my daughter's nails look beautiful. We're impressed by the cleanliness, technicians' attentiveness and not rushing through every step, and overall experience. Wonderful first impression and we'll be back again! read more

I went in on Sunday night at 5:30pm to get a mani and pedi. I originally wanted dip for my mani but after seeing the cat eye polish I decided to get that. The lady kept repeating that she is going to put dip first then the cat eye polish over it and I thought that was odd but ended up just agreeing. I knew the dip was going to make the price go up and it was probably just an upsell but I agreed anyway. Why would you put gel over dip? I've never experienced that but you love and you learn. Anywho, by Tuesday my nails were chipping. I paid $175 for a mani pedi that lasted less than three days. read more

An annual update to this review: Helen continues to be one of the best nail techs I've ever had the pleasure to see! Most recently for an upcoming spooky trip to Disneyland, I came to her with a few inspiration photos which she turned into some chic witchy nails. Pearl always does an amazing job on my nails! She recommended getting builder gel, and ever since, I've really like builder gel more than acrylic nails! I can't have long nails for my job, so I keep it short. Staff is really nice, they always offer us something to drink! The place is very pretty pink inside! Hi, I called back based on the owner's request, and the receptionist literally hung up on me when I said I'm giving a call back per business owner's request. Ok, so I booked Tuunga, but then I was assigned a newbie who didn't provide her name (and I don't recall seeing a name tag). Sotta had to chime in and explained to me that the technician is brand new and untrained. I paid the full price and left as the receptionist said there's nothing that can be done. I was upset as the skin under the nail hurt for so many days. I have been requesting Megan, Tuunga or Tseggi. Since the business is not honoring my technician request, I stopped going. read more

When I moved back to the Bay Area in 2023 this was the first nail salon I visited. Even though I've tried others, including two others nearby, I keep coming back. I like the plush pink vibe and the comfortable pedicure chairs and ceramic foot sinks. I always get the results I want. No aggressive upselling. Good massage. Kid-friendly! They've grown over the years adding more manicure stations and a head spa service. They always have the Great British Bake Off playing and I've never seen the same episode twice! read more

I did not agree to any other price and it was not mentioned to me at all during my appointment. Came here hoping to get a walk-in and they were able to accommodate! So happy especially on a busy week before new years. They were very nice and offered me something to drink. My nail tech was Helen and I can't recommend her enough. She was really thorough with my gel overlay. Honestly I'm not sure what a gel overlay is, but someone recommended that I do that since my nails are on the thinner side. I really love how my nails came out and since it's gel I know it will last a while. My biggest concern is always messing up my nails right after which I don't have to worry. I've been coming to this nail salon consistently for the last 7 months and I'm always leaving with fresh nails. Each visit I've gotten a new nail tech, but they're all fantastic. I'm very happy with the atmosphere and they even offer you something to drink before. I'm always very pleased with how my nails look after. Their gel manicures last me about 4 - 5 weeks which impresses me since I work with my hands a lot. I fell in love with this place and won't go anywhere else. read more

I went in on 4/4 for a gel builder manicure with ombre design. I originally requested the strawberry wine color to match my gel pedicure but the color wasn't really cooperating so we tried a dark red and that wasn't cooperating either so then I settled on just the classic white. During the process, I thought well she's going to even it out and it'll come out nice. But I think she didn't have experience with this design which is fine but I wish she would've communicated this so that I could make a decision if I wanted to move forward with it. I hate the way they came out and was so embarrassed by the end of it. I've been coming here for a little over a year and had never been disappointed until now. I came here recently for gel-x removal and an express manicure. I'm glad they had an express mani option because I usually have to pay regular mani prices with no nail polish color at other places. The place is cute and the ladies were nice. The lady working on my manicure was thorough and made sure my nails looked nice. The only thing was that she was rushing. There was a lady behind me who had an issue with her pedicure and the one working on my nails wanted to help her. I had a great appointment with Helen today. She removed my builder gel, which was in bad shape. She totally brought my nails back to life! She was very gentle with removal, used sanitized tools, and did a great job on starting fresh with new builder gel and hand painting the design. I was trying to book online yesterday (my connection was bad) and all the AM appointments were going fast- like really fast! Weekend Appointments: I ended up calling and was able to book a Sunday 11am mani/pedi gel appointment w any staff: cateyes removal (completed by another salon) and replaced by simple gel. Best to have appointment , the weekend walk ins harder as day goes on. Salon: aesthetically pleasing and clean. It appears they did a little declutter and re-design from what I recall on last review (long couch removed, reception desk returned closer to door, and nail tables rearranged so clients can face tv) . Color selection: lots of good color options and luxe brands (Hermes, Chanel, Dior). Service. One of the girls (Emuji) helped me pick a color and matched the perfect red for me (skin tone, nail length and shape) . Then as I was seated into my comfy chair (no massage chairs here) , another girl (Bulga) offered drink/ snack menu . Then they both started their work on me. Outcome: fabulous nail color match and perfect applications! Vibe: both Emuji & Bulga were very meticulous, gentle, soft spoken, and I was done before noon! But biggest observation of salon: A customers are coming in, the volume in salon was QUIET (door was open so you could hear the hustle and bustle for Sunday farmer market) but it was quiet and calming. Maybe because it was still early on a Sunday AM? Overall: five stars . I like the fact the salon continues to improve regardless of how well the business is going (the owner opened up a soft serve next door (random but cute) and her san Ramon location is larger and appears to be thriving as well). Good for her! Sad note: Emuji who loves to help color match is not going to be at salon by end of week- she returning to Mongolia for schooling . I wanted to leave an honest review about my recent visit. I paid $170 for a manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was amazing and I was really happy with how it turned out. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed with the gel builder manicure done by Pearl. The polish is not applied smoothly -- there are visible streaks and the finish looks uneven on multiple nails. Also, the polish doesn't go down close to my cuticles, which makes the manicure look rushed and already grown out. For the price I paid, I expected much better quality work, especially with builder gel. It's frustrating to spend that much and not be happy with the result. I truly loved the pedicure, but the manicure did not meet my expectations. read more

The place is cute and the staff is polite. I got a regular pedicure and a luxe manicure. I'm happy with the toe nails lacquer application but the experience was bad, the lady that was working with me was so distracted she was talking to other staff every few minutes. Generally I'd have no problem with that but she hurt my ankle bone twice with the buffer, and all that said, I went home with the same amount of callus I had before, pretty nail polish and a bruised talus. My manicure was overall a better experience, my tech my super nice and was doing her best. That all said, the results were very disappointing for the salon's "luxe" level of mani. I walked out with very underwhelming results (I'll post pictures), uneven surface and thinnest layer of nail polish you can imagine, no top. There was no time before each layers of my nail polish so it also took over 5 hours to fully dry. One nail chipped in 2 days. Been coming here somewhat regularly for the past few months, attached are just a few pictures out of the nails I've gotten done. I've gotten gel done majority times and occasionally the nail extentions they offer when I have a broken nail or the length is too short for what I want. They have a good selection of nail polish colors on display as well as some examples of their catseye color selection as well. My mom and I usually come here together but the most recent time I came was without her, and to me it's very touching that they actually noticed that! I also get their pedicures occasionally which can be very relaxing, especially the massages they give. Although I book without specifying a specific nail tech, I tend to have Helen or Pearl help me and they're both so talented doing art by hand! I'm super picky when it comes to my nails, so I don't usually leave reviews, but I had such a good experience here. My nail tech, Tsegi was incredibly detailed and took her time to make sure everything looked perfect. The shape, cleaning work, and the little details, everything came out so clean and exactly how I wanted. You can really tell she cares about her work and not just rushing through. I came in without an appointment, and they did their best to accommodate me, even with my tight timing and multiple other clients receiving services. The cat eye manicure I received was excellent and lasted several weeks with no issues, up until when I had my nails done again due to the outgrowth. I was amazed by how well every nail held up and how beautiful the manicure was. The technicians who worked on my nails - one for the manicure and another for the cat eye effect - were both very professional, skilled, and friendly. Additionally, they have lots of terrific magnetic gel, as well as regular and gel polish options to choose from. I highly recommend this nail salon and look forward to returning. read more
