I have been coming here for probably about 3 or 4 years now. I love this place the atmosphere is clean and inviting they offer beverages like wine mimosa or beer . I always get pedicure and nails when I come in. their techs are capable of everything from natural nails to crazy amazing fun long Instagram nails. The owner is the sweetest woman ever she always accommodates and makes time for me. I also love how calm and accommodating the owner is anytime she gets a rude inconsiderate and difficult customer which I've seen a few times while being there. She keeps her calm And attempts to resolve the situation with professionalism and has much more patience then I would lol. They have so many pedicures to choose from and I live that they offer waxing there as well. read more

I had my nails done on Wednesday, June 22nd. One nail chipped before the end of that day. By July 1st, 5 of my nails were chipped. I get powder dipped French nails. I've never had this problem before. Dip usually lasts 3 weeks for me. Very disappointed! I noticed the name of the salon has changed to something like e-salon. Not sure if that's a factor or not. read more

This location has a new name BTW, it's called E nail Bar. It was TERRIBLE, I wanted to cry. I first called and asked if they had time for dip nails the gal said yes. I went in and it started out fine and then the lady started to rush. Next think I know I have THREE gals working on my nails! Literally WHAT?! My anxiety was through the roof and couldn't even believe it. I have no more words to describe my experience. It was awful. The nails turned out terrible and also they charge SO much and make you pay an extra cuticle clean up fee.. Never even heard of it. The dip was all over my cuticle, very thick, and very uneven. Anyways, they will never get my service and shouldn't get your service either. They just want your money and do not care about the outcome of your nails. read more

Clean and comfortable. Although there is a continuous turn-over of employees so it's impossible to request the same stylist more than twice. Probably the best salon in town. They used to do paraffin dips but they didn't the last couple of times. Sometimes they have free wine but you kind of have to beg for it. read more

If i could leave a zero star i would ! First time going here .Had appnt with Amy at 6 , got there 6:05. Wasn't seen till 6:20 by another lady who then sent me to Amy. My natural nails are medium length and strong . i normally get powder dip. I wanted my nails almond/ stiletto. She applied with a brush ,She did them super thick ! I had to ask several times to file down . They were crooked , uneven and the paint job was horrible. She was extremely rough with the nail file . It was just all bad . Was $60 no design just one color . They close at 7. Left at 8:30 and for what , I'm hate my nails and can't wait to get this off in 2 weeks ! I love my time here every visit! The pedicures are amazing and so relaxing, the manicures are also nice, and my gel polish never chips or cracks... lasted 3 weeks last time until I peeled it off (I couldn't help myself). They always take wonderful care of my 6 yr old daughter too... she loves to come here! And today I enjoyed a mimosa while I had my nails done. Wonderful day!! Such friendly people, and they always get me right in even when I don't have an appointment! Thank you Julie for everything!! Also my stepdad is diabetic and has a lot of pain in his legs and feet... he had a pedicure here a couple weeks ago and said it was so nice and the first time he had been without pain in months!! A few of my friends invited me here and I was pretty reluctant to go because of how pricey but they were having a 30% off so I went. 1) never asked what I wanted to do, I finally said I wanted dip powder 2)then they didnt have the one color I wanted. 3)Once she was done with the 2 really thick layers, she barely cleaned it and said.. go wash your hands....! My nails were so thick it looked like someone just put putty on my fingers! 4) she gave me attitude when I asked her to make them thinner and cleaner. Uhmmmm.. I'm paying you!! PS. I came to visit my son and I thought I'd treat myself to a mani/pedi. The girls were really nice And they did a great job. Why only 3 stars? I hate getting a mani/pedi at the same time! Many people say it's hard to find a nail tech in Seattle, but that's not the case with me. Since the moment I stepped foot into this nail salon I have not gone anywhere else. Although I moved and now live 30min away it's still worth the drive every time. I advise It's best to schedule an appointment because just as much as I love it here, so do other guests. Walk ins are also always welcome and never rejected. Both of my nails that I've attached below are ombré full sets and yes indeed they glow in the dark! I really wanted to like this place but I should have looked them up first. I went in unknowing because they were such a convenient location. It felt really nice when you walked in. When I asked how long the wait was they told me 5 mins but it ended up being about 10-15 mins of a wait which I was okay with. My nail artist did not clean off his station and halfway through I realized I had placed my phone on the counter by a clipped nail that was not my own I was still willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, we all make mistakes right? I thought my nails were good once he finished. My nails looked great at first glance but once I got to my car I realized I was cut on one of my fingers and that the thickness of my acrylics varies greatly from nail to nail. Some nails even have large acrylic bumps on the underside. I will not be going back as much as I wanted to love them. read more

But the pedicure wasn't what i expected...they have an express pedi and the non express..which she said was their most popular. .ok so i went with that one..because she said it was the better one with a 40 min leg massage. .. So im whisked back to the pedicure area..and here goes why the 2 stars... 1.water was already in tub. 2.water was COLD..not room temp...but cold. 3.water level was barely above ankle.. 4. The tech added a splash of warm...just a quick off n on of the faucet. 5.whole experience was not worth the 33.00..i have gotten alot more for less $$$. 6.during the quick non spa like pedi that only took 20 min.... No actual clipping of toenails..just filing and scraping. No hot towel. No hot stone No sugary scrub with a lotion massage after.. However...the tech was nice and sweet..paraffin dip was ok.. I found one of their artists on Instagram and decided to make an appointment with him (Loc) even though I live in Seattle and this place is in Fed Way. Anyways, his sets are the ones that you see on here that are AMAZING. His attention to detail isn't always there, but his work is definitely better than a lot of the artists in this area. Well today I decided to go in and take a chance with a different artist and never again. Because of my experience today I won't be returning. First off, their prices are freaking ridiculous for "dipping powder". It's literally just the dip powder everyone uses but with a brush instead of dipping your finger in the powder. Secondly, they've got like 2 good artists and totally mislead people with the work everyone else does. My nails were so crooked and they were so rude about fixing any problems that i walked out and won't even remember their name in a few weeks. read more

Not overly impressed with this salon. Called ahead to make an appointment and still ended up waiting 20 minutes while our feet were soaking in Luke warm water. My friend and I wanted the same gel color on our toes and they told one of us to pick a different color so they could finish at the same time. I'm sorry but Gel only takes a few minutes and we could have easily waited for 5 minutes for the color. I ended up with a color I didn't like because of this. The gel looked fine in the salon but once I got home I realized how uneven it was. They offered everyone around us drinks but didn't offer us anything. When it came to my actual toes, they barely did anything. My feet hadn't been touched in months because I've been so busy and they needed love. I am used to my nail tech really cleaning up my feet and making them smooth and helping any ingrowns I might have, they did not. They barely pushed back my cuticles and buffed my heels (I picked the middle package pedicure). It's a shame because the salon itself is nice and seemed clean. I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

They recently changed management and I have to agree with other Yelpers they have lost the friendly, humble atmosphere. Now everyone is always in a hurry and bad attitude. They also have new nail techs that are not professional, rude and they rather be texting then helping you find the correct color for your nails. I been coming to this salon for years! After the experience I had with Lucas, not sure if I will return. Lucas remember it's not what you say it's how you say it. I recommend some customer service classes for you. I still like Sarah though Sarah has great customer service and willing to assist to pick a color. Kuddos to Sarah! read more

Came here for a pedicure... this place is really nice, but super unsanitary first of all, they do not change their gloves after finishing another client's pedicure. Second, they use dirty tools like dirty brushes and nail clippers to clean your nails/feet. The lady who was doing my pedicure got up after touching my feet and went to go touch another clients feet with the same gloves! That's how contamination and infection happens! This place needs to have their employees continue with training so they can learn about proper sanitation. read more

The male manicurist is a terrible workers. I asked him to do something and he does the opposite. I ask him nicely to fix it and he refuses to help me because "what I asked for can't be done". I showed him a reference of what I wanted done and he responds "I won't do different from my ways" after already taking off my previous nail work. He made a scene and I ended up crying because of how embarrassed I was. I have never met a nail business with such an unethical and ill performing nail artist. If you go here DO NOT see this man. I even gave him a reference and he still complained and refused to help me, again after taking off the work I had for two weeks. read more

I sent my 15 year old daughter to get her nails done with a friend while I was at work. I got this picture of her actual fingernail ripped more than half way down to her nail bed and bleeding. They super glued her natural nail back on, blood and all, and then placed a fake one over the top of that. Then they told her she should have told them to soak her nails to take them off.... as if she should know that... Following my phone call they offered her 10$ off next time she came.... HA. We will not be going back. The part that was most upsetting to me was my daughter expressed to me the nail technician was on her phone not paying attention or listening to my daughter. You get a conditioning parafin dip for the feet, to sit in a chair that you can control massage (my favorite)...watch the big flat screen tv and daydream about cooking all the food you see being made on The Food Network or simply fall asleep while the girls rub your feet. I have been coming to the Nail Gallery & Spa for years, and I will never go anywhere else! My is the manager, and she runs the business very professionally. She is always kind, and will always make sure everything is done right. Over the years, I have asked for many different colors and designs on my nails, and they have never disappointed me. On the rare occasion chipping happens, they are more than happy to fix the problem. All of the workers are very nice, and they keep everything very clean. I've only come here twice so far, once for a pedicure and a couple days ago I received a gel manicure. Good quality from what I have experienced so far and the space is spacious and clean. When I went for the gel manicure there were a few ladies ahead of me, so I would book an appointment next time. You can find cheaper nail salons but the prices here are pretty average. My gel manicure was $30 and I also paid $5 to remove the acrylics that I had on at the time. I hope the manicure will last the expected 2 weeks or so considering it's the gel polish...we shall see. If I could put negative stars I would. Lucas, who, don't get me wrong usually does amazing work and has a huge social media following, was doing my boyfriends mother's nails (we both had appointments for full sets) and while her nails were being done, she told Lucas, that one of the nails was slightly longer than the other hand, not once but twice he said he would fix it, and DIDNT fix the longer nail. Towards the end of her set (right before t her clear coat) she told him a third time and he proceeded to get up and throw his brush he was using on her nails done on the counter and start yelling as he stormed off and made a huge scene in front of all people in the salon. KEEP IN MIND, at this point we had already been here for 3 HOURS and he was still doing her set of nails MINE HADNT EVEN BEEN TOUCHED.... we were then threatened to have the police called on us and we were "not allowed to come back to the salon". I had NEVER been here before and my bf mom had been getting her nails done with Lucas for a while. After all of this, they wouldn't even do MY nails after I sat there waiting for three hours! When we walked up to pay they proceeded to charge us $100 for just her set of nails, after all of this I was not willing to pay full price, as the nails were not done, and the service we were given was awful. We were told again that we were not welcomed back in the salon ever again and we should leave before they "call the police". Again, with nails not finished on her hand and mine not even touched. This is the WORST experience I've ever had in an establishment EVER. And will never be back. Oh, I forgot to mention, right after Lucas stormed off, he never came back out, no one ever came and told us anything until I got up and asked the cashier lady at the front what's going on. I agree with some of the other reviews that state the employees have a lack of sincerity. Not all, but most quietly bark the orders at you and that's it, some can't even help themselves to crack a smile. I've seen them become outright visibly disturbed when a customer smudged some polish or asked for their nails to be "just a little shorter". I have heard some being very friendly with their customers and the persons upfront were very polite. I may be the odd gal out on this, but I really don't care. I don't like their becoming upset when having to fix a smudge or file a little bit more (that's absurd), but I don't want to be friendly and chat to a complete stranger. I actually enjoy just watching the TV above (usually on a cooking show). I do like the shellacs I have received, they lasted for longer than 2 weeks! I only went back in because my nails we're getting to long. I really like the color selection (best I've seen so far) they also do a mini-massage, put your hands in some warming mits for a few minuets. And at the very end a paraffin wax dip. It's nice. But it usually takes over and hour and I'm all about fast! I mean to ask for them to skip it, but haven't yet. $36 is a little high end pricing compared to others in the area. But not having to go back often is nice! read more

Given the nail gallery too many chances, only once out of many times I liked my nails because I requested Annie which does the best work. My nails have specks dried under the top clear coat so they are all bumpy and aren't cleaned up around the nails. My left thumb has a spot on the left side that doesn't have color on it. Very pricey for a not good job. Also came as a bridal party and we didn't get to be together even, like ??? Don't think I'll be coming back. read more
