When I brought this concern to the nail technician, she stated that they cannot guarantee nails won't develop fungus and that it was not something they are responsible for. Weekday review One of my bestfriend and I went to the Salon on rainy Wednesday afternoon. It was around 3:30 and it wasn't as busy as I thought. However, they were kind enough to accommodate us when I called ahead and they got us scheduled for both mani pedi and a facial. I really like all the color options they had. Vivian and Cindy helped us that day and they were very kind, helpful and actually knew how to make the conversation flow. Called this location yesterday around 6:54 PM. Cindy picked up the phone and she told me that a package for pedicure with gel and paraffin wax is $48. I make the appointment to come the next day which is today. I also brought someone else with me because that's such a great deal. Once when I go in, Cindy recognizes me when I said I am Sara who called for two pedicures. They immediately tell me that that package of $48 doesn't include gel that it would be an additional $15 so then we decide to do the basic pedicure which is $38 with no gel and no paraffin wax. Mom is getting her gel removed not even before telling her while she's doing it she says it's a three dollar charge to remove it. We said OK at this point we are already here and she's already doing it. There's so many prices being changed and we're going back-and-forth. Then she spoke to Cindy. It was another lady doing my mom's pedicure. They spoke in Vietnamese and then they said OK so if you're not doing gel, we're going to discharge more for removing the gel and you doing basic. That point I was confused and I said you know what I don't wanna do this. We're not going to get our pedicures done here because there's multiple prices being set over the phone and then different prices being said while we were in the store, trying to get our pedicures done on top of that. I can see why they have all these great reviews because they give you two dollars off every review you give inside of the store so if you take the time to make a review and give them great ratings about anybody at the store, they'll give you an additional two dollars off on your service and I didn't know that prior to searching this online. I'm thinking that this place is actually really good with great deals and has great customer service until I walked in and I knew how they're getting their customer service reviews. Would I recommend anybody going here probably not would I come back here probably not if only they had told me straightforward about the prices over the phone I would've been perfectly fine. I was referred by someone who was give the incorrect price over the phone. When I finally showed up Cindy who took my friends appointment of the phone also told her prices was there and recognized her immediately. We were told one price. $48 supposedly with parfin wax and gel. When we get there and already my foot in the tub sitting on the seat. They tell me the price is incorrect gel will be an additional $15. We tried to tell them how we were told one thing at a specific time when we called. She spoke to Cindy in Vietnamese then stated if you aren't doing gel which she already knew they'll charge me more $8 to remove the gel bc I'm not getting more gel. Just basic. At that point I wanted to leave. Hmmm, mixed feelings. The lady who did my nails did a great job until the end of the mani I realized the dip color got around my cuticle and I asked her to clean up the edges. At this point customers were coming in and she did it in a rish. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I felt bad but a mani I thought it would've been ok to spare another 2 mins to clean up the cuticle for a happy customer.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Well she did one hand eventually handed me the cotton ball with acetone and told me to do it myself and it would wash off in the shower. 1) why am I paying to get my nails done when I have to do it myself? and 2) the tiny cotton ball with acetone she gave me dried up in two seconds by the time I got to my car it was useless. And being from out of town I don't have acetone. Pros: The nails do look good I give them that, and she filed down the dip so it was nice and thin but they could do better with attention to detail and customer service could be better. read more

Okay I don't normally write reviews but I'm seriously disappointed and disrespected by this salon. I've been coming to this salon and seeing Anna. She's very good. I love her. So I decided to get manicure and pedicure yesterday( Sunday)around 3:30pm. . Anna wasn't working but this other blond girl told me to come at 5:15. I showed up at 5:15pm waited until 5:45pm So this older lady started rushing my pedicure , got my in growing toe nails bleeding everywhere, didn't even give me feet massage. OK. And then the blond girl started doing my manicure at the same time. Remind you I'm in so much pain from both of my big toes bleeding. The younger blond girl asks " what color on your hands?" said white or something similar . She rushes my hands, didn't massage or polish. I asked her " aren't you at least gonna polish ? She said no it's gonna take too long to dry. After about 3 minutes of pedicure was done, they told me it's okay to leave because they're closing. Omg I felt like they kicked me out. I mean I paid my price even though I didn't get the service I wanted plus I tipped both of them. Now I have messed up toes and manicure that wasn't done. I'm a mom of two little babies. Went in with an appointment. .just in case..but got there early..no wait. .no one was there...a birthday group came in shortly after.....the pedicure was amazing and they do a thorough cleaning and picking around the crevices..lol...a long and relaxing foot and leg massage follows a paraffin dip and hot towel wrap...all for 26 bucks...also got eyebrows waxed..quickly and almost painlessly..almost....haha. Came in for shellac mani and regular pedi. They got me in right away and the chair massage is great. I chose a nail color that turned out to be gone, they suggested a similar color. After two coats the tech thought it didn't look very good (I agreed) so she picked a different color that would still match my toes. She picked a pretty color that was one I use regularly so I was happy and she didn't even have to be told just handled it. I did want to step out of my comfort zone with my nails but it wasn't in the cards this time I guess! The pedicure was great with paraffin dip. The mani and pedicurist both took their time cleaning up my cuticles unlike the place across the street. The pedicure polish job is not 5 stars, more like 3 or 4, but everything else was A+ so I'm totally fine to forgive it. I'll definitely be back and might try acrylics here next time. read more

I came in for my appointment and everything seemed like it would be fine. They started on my nails and I had 2 broken nails will getting a fill. My first red flag was that they took my nails off using another nail and not soaking it. I was like ok. It is what it is at this point. So they are filing my nails and then I got transferred to start on my acrylic. So they were doing my nails and were going really fast. And then I noticed another appointment showed up. So she was rushing to get my nails done and my acrylics came out bumpy and uneven. Then the color on my nails has streaks in them and it doesn't look great. On top of that I had coffin nails and some of these nails are huge and some don't have a shape. Then when I said that it was uneven she just shaved the side and I was like you just took color off and she shaved the side more. This is only the second time I didn't leave a tip at a shop. They were also being rude at the other appointment because they didn't have enough people to also do their nails at their appointment slot. Terrible. The nail tech changed the color to a completely different color that doesn't even resemble the color I asked for and then added this god awful blue glitter to it. I walked out of there crying. She refused to do the shape I wanted which was almond because she said my nails were too small even though the nail salon I usually go to does it and they come out beautiful every time. Came in for a acrylic full set a few days ago they were able to do the design I wanted perfectly but there is no apex on my nails and both my pinkies were not straight. I also had acrylic and gel top coat on my cuticles that I had to fix at home with an emery board. I called and asked if they could fix my pinkies and they said yes they'd do it for free. when I came in to get them fixed she told me only one pinky nail wasn't straight and the other was fine even though you could literally see it turning outward. she was able to fix the one nail but now the structure of it is even worse. there's a dip in the nail where the tip meets my real nail and it's very lumpy. They also reuse sanding bands on the efile as well as the files they use to shape your nails. Overall not the best experience read more

I've been visiting this spot for eyebrow and lip waxing, pedicures and gel manicures for a couple of years. The attendants are always very considerate, make best attempts to get walk-in clients serviced as quickly as possible, and in genuine appear to appreciate their customers. This was the first time I went to a nail salon to treat myself! I have had a bad habit of biting my nails since I can remember so I was kind of hesitant to go to these places... BUT they were super friendly and just so good at what they do! I know I can't compare them to anywhere but if they can make my nails look good, I just feel like that means ANYONE'S can look good... I got a full set with clear tips and my nails look so natural and not like... bulging like some other girls' nails that I've seen before. I didn't know what I was missing but now I'm going back there to get my nails done! Good deal and it helps that it's super close to my house! I Came in Ask for a Fullset showed them exactly what I wanted a pretty easy acrylic set I let them know this is exactly what I want but in pink I was quoted $140 sat me down First Lady did not know what she was doing my nails were a mess super lumpy she kept make comments on how long I was getting them and laughing ... she laid the acrylic files buffed for almost 2 hours just for another lady to take over a redo them for almost another to hours. She " finished " I let her know that is not what I had asked for so I show her the picture again telling her this is what came in and asked for she has another lady let me know it's gonna be extra when I was already quoted $140 for the set I showed them. I am almost 5 months pregnant sitting in their uncomfortable chairs for 3+ hours was not ok to just leave super unhappy I'm really disappointed I literally left with the most Simple design no where near what I asked for them the First Lady comes in with another comment " it's fine those are to extra ". I was clearly really unhappy and uncomfortable and she still had the nerve to take 5+ mins trying to take the perfect picture. Worst nail shop in Federal Way! I visited them twice now and they keep failing me. First, they staff someone so inexperienced that you're better off doing the nails yourself. HORRIBLE!!! If I could give no stars I would. I went in 1st thing in the morning, usually nail salons are busy so I thought I'd beat the crowd. I'm sorry I ever went into this salon. I wanted a new shellac manicure, as I was due for one. First of all, they had one of their teen daughters scrape off my existing shellac. I'm not opposed to younger people helping but NOT when you need a state license to perform the work. Can I just say I'm surprised I even have nail beds left??? Two of my nails had broken in between manicures so I asked the girl to make them all even and the same length. She didn't quite understand what that meant. Long story short....I was waiting for the polish and that's when I inspected the length and shape. I asked her to fix a few and she got mad. As I looked at my nails I took the file and starting fixing the shape. That's when I realized that 1/2 my nails were round and the others were square. One or the other please! The square ones pissed me off. She decided to cut the outside corners below the "nubs"!!! When I told her I wasn't happy and to stop because she ruined my nails, she told me it was my fault.
