This is my 3rd time coming here and my 1st time here for a design. They usually do pretty good if you just want a solid color nail. It also depends on the person who does your nails. Today I went and they took almost 2 hours just to do a fill. The guy doing my nails also did not know how to do the design I wanted and had someone else help him. I think it still turned out pretty sloppy compared to what I'm used to. I was so tired of sitting there I didn't expect it to take so long I didn't tell him to fix anything. I was introduced to this Nail salon by my Friend Michelle who lives in Boerne, Texas and is a regular customer. I booked an Appointment for a Classic Spa Pedicure since it was long overdue and I needed to treat myself. The salon has a wide variety of polish, and paints. Vivían is my nail technician. I have been coming here for about 3 months now and she never disappoints. She makes sure all your expectations are met and that's highly appreciated. The staff are kind and diligent, polish supplies are vast and current, and screens offer newsy entertainment without sound. I come here for pedicures with my novel and soak up the care. This review is more for Vivian who was my nail tech and while she is experienced and good at what she does she lacked the skill to listen to what I needed. I told her multiple times to correct the lifting I had with my acrylics and she didn't. So I came in to have them fix after they broke a few days later. Second visit with her I told her I type a lot and if she could be more attentive to the edges of the nail she again chose not to. Came back two days later to have chips fixed. She was upset and I quote "I've never have but two people ever have to return. This is a waste of your time and my time and I won't keep doing this. I will do acrylics on you one more time and if this happens again I won't do it anymore. You will do dip" I explained that dip isn't a option for me for a few reasons one it's to thick and two it's lifts more than acrylics and No I will not do dip. I recently moved to the area and have had my nails done religiously every three weeks. Since Vivian clearly is upset by the work she did and handled the situation poorly by telling me she will no longer do my nails since she can't do her job correctly I chose to sadly never return again. I really did like this salon but this nail tech and her years of experience is blinding her by not listening to a customer's specific need. I don't feel it was a lot to ask for attention to the edges like I have at my previous salon without issue. Aside from her the rest of the staff and manager are super friendly and attentive. I used to love coming here and was never disappointed. Can't say the same anymore. The manager Lee did my nails for my winter formal dance and I was very upset with how they turned out. 3 of my fingers nails on my right hand had weird divots in the top coat and my middle finger had red specs sealed in the powder (I got white so it was extremely noticeable). I wanted my nails slightly coffin shaped, and I even showed him a picture to clarify what I wanted. The sides of my nails were straight like he barely took his time to shape them. Also, on all of my nails, you could see where he didn't use the drill enough to smooth out the dip powder near my cuticle, looked awful. I didn't notice any of this until I went out to my car after paying and got a good look in the sun light. I immediately went back in and had it fixed. The older woman fixed them just how I wanted and I left more satisfied. Still, I don't plan on coming back. read more

My experience was bad at this place for the second time. The first time I went the guy doing my nails cut my skin while doing my cuticles and didn't even bother to say sorry. I went there the second time hoping that things would be better, but my hopes went in vain. I was made to wait for nearly 25 mins and by the time the person came to do my pedicure the water was cold.the temperature of the water was not changed. The callus treatment didnt even last for 2 minutes. The lady just took 3 minutes to apply a lotion and massage my legs (offered for all pedicures) . I had opted for their signature pedicure. I didn't know that their signature pedicure would be so crapy.it was supposed to be a 40 minutes pedicure, I waited for somebody to come for 25 minutes with my feet soaking in cold water and 20 minutes was all the the time to do the pedicure. The irony of all is the lady asked me if the pedicure was relaxing. I wouldn't want to go back to this place. I wasted 50 bucks with not even 10% satisfaction. read more
