I wish I could give zero stars. When they had to the opportunity to get money from me they were quick to respond, but when I called them out on the incorrect installation of an improper capacitor for my unit (once it stopped working again) all I got was excuses, outright lies, and then crickets. They charged me over 200$ to replace a $15 capacitor (which by the way, I suggest you start there yourself instead of reaching out to any HVAC company). When I clearly showed them irrefutable evidence of their negligent install - to the owner by the way - I got no response. No refund. Nothing. I would never recommend this company to anyone. I have used Nail Heating and Air for years. I have a Maintenance Agreement and the tech is usually Brian. Brian is always courteous. During the summer, AC blower had to be replaced. Brian removed old fan, ordered new fan and the replacement was installed late the next day. I also had Ronnie as a tech for years. I miss seeing him but glad he is retiring. Be honest with the customers. Especially clients who been with company for several years who paid them well for services they rendered. My last experience with Nail Heating & Air were very disappointed. We were on a yearly service contract to service our air conditioner and furnace twice a year. At first everything was good with their's service. Then, the last technician came to our home on the service maintenance agreement and said to us we had a bad part for our unit and cut the unit off. Something happened with company honesty and integrity toward theirs customers and the quality of their workmanship. Whatever the last technical did to our unit it did not work. When I call the company to voice my concerns about the situation, the customer service representative hung up on me. I am 79 years old and my wife is 85 years old. She has been dealing with cancer for last 2 years. Like I said early, the company start out good and we paid for all services they rendered. Now our unit is not working in this hot weather. Had a issue with the AC. Made an appt and they said trip charge could be rolled over into cost for fixing issue if we got it fixed. They pulled a bait a switch. Charged $95 for the trip charge and an additional $200 for the "service". Jonathan Caso was the tech. He said it was a "capacitor issue". He actually just flipped the breaker inside. It took 10 min to " fix" and the part is less than $15. So, he said the cost was $295 ($200 for "service" and $95 for trip charge). The company lied. We would not have scheduled the appt if the cost of the trip charge wasn't rolled into the cost of fixing the item. Charging $200 for a $15 capacitor that takes less than 10 min to install is crazy. Will eat the cost of the overpriced repair. But shouldn't have to eat the cost of the trip charge...again the company lied. Called owner. I can't say enough good about Nail Heating & A/C. I've used them for the last several years for a maintenance plan, but recently had new furnace and a/c units installed. Every contact with them from ladies in the office to service techs is more than pleasant. They are very responsive and make you feel like part of their 'family.' When it was determined I needed a new unit, I got timely info from Steven - very responsive to emails - and he recommended the size unit that should have been in my house all along - a size up from the one my builder installed - and I could not be more pleased. I can already tell a WORLD of difference. Most recently, Geoffrey and Jeremy were the ones who install new units last week. They were on time and things were done in a very efficient manner. Basically when setting up for someone to come out to fix our AC unit they said it was a $95 trip charge that can ultimately go into the cost of repairs once they find out what is wrong with it. Today when the guy "Jonathan" came out the tune was very different. They came inside and had me turn on the unit, then they went outside and said that the capacitor was bad. It looked very good as there was no bubbling on the capacitor what so ever. They replaced the capacitor and said it was $200. So a $30 part costs $200 once 20 minute labor is applied. But here is the kicker. They said the total bill was $295 because we had to pay for diagonostic fee. When we set up the appointment the nice lady said it would roll over into the repair bill but now (today) $95 is just the cost of telling the customer what is wrong and will not be applied to the cost of repair. At some point of the conversation the technition stated " I got to feed my family". So jacking up prices to hard working people is a way to feed your family? I suggest that you do not use NAIL Heating and Air as they will bait and switch the diagnostic charge as it will not roll over toward the cost of repairs. Our condensate drain line appeared clogged as water was coming through the vents. I called Nail and within an hour we had a service technician (Steven) at the house looking into the problem. It was a bit more complicated than just a clogged line but Steven resolved all issues and potential issues. This is my third time using Nail and each time they have been fantastic. Was told tech would be here between 8-8:30 at 8:30 i recieved a call from Justin (tech) explaining he is having car trouble and would not be here until around 9:30, he is coming from Stockbridge. Had two units installed (attic and basement) in 2001. Attic unit went out after 10 years service. Replaced attic unit for over $5,000. After new unit put in experienced leaking in attic to the point it caused ceiling dry wall to collapse into living room. Cost over $1,500 to repair and paint. When Nails replaced attic unit it did not put in new PVC drain line to the outside., Despite admitting that the joints of those PVC lines can wear out after 10 years, Nails accepted no responsibility for the damage to ceiling. Needless to say, we stopped using them and would not ever use them again considering we used them for over 10 years and this is how we were treated. read more

This company has a great set of employees that work here. Problem is the boss is one of those people who just rips the rug out from under you in the blink of an eye. We had Nail out to look a our brand new, water damaged home. We told them that they needed to replace several ducts and do a system check after the water damage. We also told the guy we would need a writeup of all issues found for the impending lawsuit against our builder. When they came back to start working on our residence they found that our compressor was actually shot. Not due to the water damage, but due to an installation error of the original HVAC tech. We told them that we wanted the faulty unit replaced and again that we would need a written document stating what the tech from Nail found. After a days time, with no AC, the companies secretary emails me saying that they will not help me fix the faulty AC, they will not do anything dealing with a lawsuit, and even though I had asked them to quote me a new install for an HVAC system in my basement, well you guessed it... They wouldn't do that either. Again, great techs from what I can tell. The owner just seems to be a guy that wants to Nail you to a wall and take your money. As to money, they charged us $150 just for the inspection and quoted us $1500 to fix the faulty equipment. Once they kicked us to the curb we called One Call Heating and Cooling. Nail Heating and Air in Henry County was asked to diagnose an air conditioner problem at our house and let us know if the repair would be over $300. Instead they did not diagnose, and simply put $333 worth of Freon in our air conditioner( how even?!?), which then totally leaked out within 24 hours. When confronted with their poor service, they gave us a "complimentary" visit to confirm the leak, which I found himself after their first visit. They agreed that the leak I found was the root cause, and then said it would be $596 more to fix in addition to the $333 they already charged us for 24 hours of Freon (not to mention the environmental hazard they created by filling a leaking system!). I told them we did not need their assistance anymore, and found another company who did the total repair and Freon refill for 150 bucks.
