Only gave a 1 because 0 isn't an option. I Did not have a good experience here and will not return or recommend. I feel like employees were rude and clearly talking about me . They even laughed when I would ask for something. Not only was that bad but they continued to try to do things I didn't want. I asked for acrylic nails with regular polish - they tried to do dip and gel after I stated what I wanted then seemed bothered when I reminded them I wanted regular polish. Shape -wrong, uneven , different shapes, and a big glob of acrylic left under my nails even after asking for it to be removed . I was very unhappy with my experience overall! I ended up paying more because the acrylic powder they used was the "pink" not the regular. Needless to say $50 wasted . read more

I'm hesitant to write this review. This place, Leo, does a good job. I've been going here for years. However, I will not be going back. I don't expect to make best friends when I go to the salon or have the staff be chatty, chatty - but these people are downright unfriendly. They act as if they are doing you a favor while working on your nails. I took my granddaughter in, 4 years old, to have a manicure and pedicure. It was a grandma/granddaughter outing but they took all the spark out of the event by their unfriendliness. I know you work hard, Leo. But you are in the customer service business and a few kind words can make all the difference...at least for me. Sorry. read more

I was bold and asked for a design today and could not be happier; all of the staff are super kind and accommodating and the salon is always a calm, wonderful space. Would give no stars but that is not an option. Hospitality was good, however services and customer satisfaction was awful. My toes were bleeding and stinging. Instead of fixing the issue that I called out, I was told to have it done differently the next time I come in (there will not be a next time). I've been a customer at this location since it was Julie Nails. The owners/staff are sweet and are very accommodating with squeezing me in last minute. They have a large selection of polish and comfortable massage chairs. One of my favorite things is that my polish lasts over a month without chipping. That's a plus in my book. I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE AGAIN. This salon is the worst salon i have ever been to and i have been getting my nails done for 6 years now. This was my second time here and I would have rather had bare nails than have just spent 50 dollars on an acrylic set. My whole left hand is about a half inch shorter than my right hand, the shaping is uneven as some nails are squared and some are square round when i asked for square, the painting was horrible until i continuously asked for it fixed and the thickness is uneven. my worker's name was Leo and I had asked several times for him to fix it. I had made an appointment for 5:30 and clearly the staff was rushed to get out of there as my friend got a pedicure and received the bare minimum of spa treatment as well. They must have expected us to not have said anything if we didn't like our service, feeling they could do a half a** job. I have completely just wasted 50 dollars, and there are better salons around Tally. When i did respectfully complain and he knew i wasn't happy with them, he proceeded to disregard any attention to his customer's complaints. DO NOT GIVE THEM BUSINESS. read more

10/10 recommend Tim, the young one. He is my go-to for dip (SNS) in Tallahassee after trying multiple places and people! Also the cheapest place I have got dip before making it a lot easier to tip Tim well for his talents!! I once went with a friend and she was with the girl owner while I was with Tim and she got acrylics done in 20 minutes and was upset she felt rushed so go to Tim. read more

It was my first time trying to get nail art and dip on my nails. Layla was super friendly and explained all my different options. She is so talented and really took her time to perfect the design I had shown her. Tried to give her a second chance because everyone has a bad day, but she flaked on my appointment and had someone else do my nails even though I had made the appointment with her. Pretty crappy experience. 1.) the same tools are used on everyone that gets a pedicure with no cleaning between clients. When you mention this, they throw them in the spa bath with you or in a container of sanitizer that I never saw changed and looked lovely and crusty at the bottom. 2.) There were only 3 employees on a Saturday so everything took forever. The guy who did my toes was great. 3.) the girl who did my manicure was rude, unprofessional and a terrible manicurist. My nails look like a three year old painted them. 4) she made me pay a tip before she finished and then ran off before putting a top coat or anything other than two coats of polish on them. Terrible experience. Luckily when another employee came over she asked about it and fixed some of the other girls mistakes. But not all unfortunately. Waste of time and money. Not coming back. My girlfriend treated us to a day spa at this establishment for manicures for her wedding the next day. Her polish worked out but mine did not. The color I picked was old (unbeknown to me) and I wondered why my "tech" took it to the back of the room to add something to it. We later learned it was a "thinner" to make it more smooth it out. We sat with our hands under the dryer for an hour. It still wasn't dry, but had to leave for other appointments. I was very careful but after 5hrs it still wasn't dry and smeared after bumping against a piece of fried chicken. (Avoid fried chicken at least 5 hrs after nail polish with them!) We went back and was told "that's how the "old" polish is now (doesn't get hard)" from the store manager. I've been getting my nails done... regular manicures, acrylics, gels, etc) for 25+ yrs and have NEVER experienced this. It was all my fault, according to the manager, because I wasn't careful. Really? What?? I'd been going there for at least 8-10yrs before covid. At least they repainted my nails with no charge. That the ONLY good thing I can say about them!! read more

I have been getting manicures for 27 years and this is only the second one I can honestly say that was horrible. I wanted to walk out after the first 5 minutes. The lady who did my nails was the owner, which was shocking because she was so unfriendly and rude. She hurt me, cut me and on top of it all did a terrible job. One day later almost all of my nails are chipped. Next time I am in Tallahassee I will try to find a better salon. read more
