This is by far the worst full set and pedicure I have ever gotten. I just got my full set and pedicure 20 minutes ago.... The pictures speak for themselves... the acrylics aren't so bad. But the art is not what I asked for... my toes are the worst I have ever had... she not only left my toes nail in the worst shapes ever. There's no paint covering some. I did not ask for the white flower, or the black stripes. I do want my full refund 100% of it. Which is 100$. Such a great place for a "treat yourself" kind of day! All of the workers are very kind, sweet, and make you feel comfortable. They also honor appointments!!! This is so rare to find now a days. They are honest if you walk in, they will let you know if they're a busy and will schedule you an appointment to avoid a wait for the next time. Very happy with my full gel set and my gel pedicure! My friend had an appointment scheduled at 5:00 for a new set with design. We arrive and are told it would be a bit of a wait as they had a couple walk-ins show up. I decided to get a pedicure while we waited as they had availability. My pedicure was not the best. She layered the polish 4 coats thick, and was very rough with the leg massage. 5:30 roles around and my pedicure is finished...and my friend is still waiting. We ask (again) how long and the guy says a little longer as he needs to finish one walk-ins nails and do the other walk-ins nails as well. I ended up calling Nails Art in Prunedale (where I've been getting my nails done every month for the past 2 years), and they said they could take my friend immediately, so we left and never looked back. What is the point of scheduling an appointment with someone if you can't follow through and you prioritize your walk-ins. Will never be coming back. read more

No idea how long they have been in business, but I AM SO GLAD I TRIED THEM! They did such a great job and this place is officially my favorite nail spot in Marina. The first time I booked an appointment at this place was for my mom on Mother's Day and she really enjoyed her pedicure. That same day when I went to pick her up from her appointment I purchased a gift card because I wanted to get my nails done there for graduation. Yesterday I redeemed my gift card and Henry did my manicure and I was very happy with the job he did, the price, and my overall experience there. The salon is very clean and spacious. Tao did my mom's pedicure and gel manicure that day and my mom loved her second experience there too. It was her first gel manicure! I went in June for acrylics and a week into getting my nails done, my skin around the cuticles started swelling and after another week and half pus started oozing out of my finger nail....it was a frustrating process since I had to go to the ER back to urgent care basically on different strains of antibiotics for 2 months..I was so tired of getting ping ponged back and forth I asked for a referral to a disease doctor. After 2 months of antibiotics the infectious disease doctor recommended that I be off the antibiotics and can follow back if my finger turned completely black... I was hesitant to say anything to the salon since the person who worked on me was so friendly but this is a huge sanitation issue that hopefully gets resolved. I know now I'm not the only person has contracted paronychia from this place..so that is why I give this place 1 star, sanitation there is a NO for me definitely traumatised me to want to do acrylics ever again. read more

I used to really like this place. Steven was really good at doing my acrylics and my pedicures. And he was fast. I'd be in and out of there in less than an hour for a fill on my nails. The price was always the same because I always got the same thing: coffin shape and nude gel, with the acrylic filed down thick so they look more natural. But today, I learned that Steven is no longer there, so I got a new tech to do my nails. I needed a fresh set, and I asked for my usual thin, coffin shape, nude gel, and I added one rhinestone on one nail. When I asked for the coffin shape, he didn't know what I was talking about because the last time he had done nails was in 2001. Okay, fine. The other tech showed him what it was. Then I noticed he was using a shit-ton of acrylic. He kept telling me that he'd reshape them later. But every time he asked me if they were okay, they were still just so thick that it looked like I dipped my finger in Elmer's glue then some powder. Long story short, the other tech had to take over to finish the job. TWO HOURS LATER, I got to the counter to pay, and they nickel and dimed me. I was charged for shaping my nails, and when I asked about it, l he tried to like...gaslight me?? He's like, "oh you forgot! It's extra." I ended up paying more money for a sub-par job that took twice as long. I'm going back to Royal Nails in Seaside, then I guess read more

Halie did my nails today, and I must say, this place is wonderful, and is probs going to be my fave place. Not only is it a re-opening from their original location in Monterey, but this place is fantastic! Clean tools, ventilation is great, and the nail techs are sweet; they take their time in their work without cutting or rushing through their work. I do suggest making appointments as early as you can b/c this place will soon be a hit! Other services they can do include waxing. They also accept debit/credit cards.
