I dropped in for a fill today. I wasn't overly impressed but I wasn't left terribly disappointed. My fill was ok, no real complaints. But the technician was not talkative or personable. They prices were a bit higher but we know the business rental in that area is ridiculous too. Was my experience bad? No Will I make this my regular salon? Again no, I won't be back. The stars reflect the availability, the cleanliness, the color choices, and service. They lost one star for the price and the gel manicure looking like I had it done over a week ago. I like that instead of scrubbing out the pedicure sinks, they line each one with plastic and throw it away after the pedicure. Their prices are a lot higher than my normal place, and they asked me at every step what I wanted (nail shape, cut, callous removal, and design). I do find it irritating that they nickel and dime you at every turn. Callous removal pedicure is an extra $5, design is an extra $5, Polish that drys faster (no extra work required) an extra $3... seriously. A manicure with gel and a pedicure cost me $90. 90 mother freaking dollars!! For a mani/pedi! The same thing at my normal place is $60. And they offer me water. This place does not. I am always on the hunt for a wonderful nail salon and Nail Masters was pretty good. I went in okay and asked for a pedicure and shellac manicure. After looking around I noticed it was busy and said that I should probably just get the pedicure because I only had an hour. The lady assured me both could get done so I went ahead. The physical space isn't all that appealing, the massage chair didn't work very well, and the color choices for both regular polish and shellac were minimal. I've been here twice, never had to wait, I also have been there in the middle of the day on weekdays so perhaps that's the difference. I can only speak for the manicures, which are great! I have near to NO fingernails so finding a quality mani that looks natural (I'm talking gels here ladies), is affordable and doesn't drive me to pick hours later is difficult. The younger girl with the short hair is the best and so personable. As for the pedi my boyfriend received one and said it was "wonderful and relaxing". I would have given 5 stars but I'm a sucker for OPI polish and the selection is limited, of that brand but they do have a nice variety of colours. I went in there and asked if they do design. They said "yes" and then I was in there forever as the guy tried to figure out how to do it because the paint kept sliding until a lady helped him. Then it took forever and it didn't look much like the photo I was comparing it to. He almost only put design on one nail but then my nails would have been reeeeeally ugly m. It costed me $13 extra dollars for mediocre design and I got gel nails just one week ago and they're already chipped on 70% of my nails. read more

let me start by saying i understand and speak fluent vietnamese (but they didn't know this) and i wish i could give them ZERO stars. i go in for a fill (which i made an appt for), no one talks to me for about 5 minutes and finally one of the nail technicians asks what i need help with. i finally get to sit down with a nail technician after a couple more minutes and she's starts doin my nails. i'm on the phone with my friend talking about whatever and i turned down my phone and talked so only my friend could hear me, i didn't bring headphones cause mine were dead. one of the nail ladies (i believe her name is ngan), asks me if i had headphones and i said no. and the technician doin my nails offers me to use her headphones so i use them. this is where ngan gets upset and starts talkin shit about me to her employees. she starts saying that i should've hung up and i'm rude. then she starts calling me fat and michelle joins in on this. michelle and ngan start talking about how i would come in to fix a nail because i was playing around with my boyfriend. they both said i'm "too big to be playing around". the nails i got weren't even that good. i wanted a more rounded coffin shape, but my nails are REALLY square. and the nail technician also cut me and i was bleeding. so, have fun at this place if you want them to talk shit about you and cut you for some mediocre nails. read more

This place has long been my standby inexpensive pedicure go to. They do a decent job and are always pleasant to deal with. I can't say I'm a fan of their new pricing structure, in the past a full pedicure was $25, French was like $30ish. Today I found a striped down service for $25, a slightly better service for $30 or something that sounded way over the top for $35. And the worst part was being charged an extra $5 for the flower on my toe. Next time my daughter and I need pedicures we will try somewhere else in town, they've lost the quality and reliability that kept me coming back for years. read more

Not a pleasant experience. I started getting my nails done again a couple of months ago. I was hoping to find a place near me that does a good job, is friendly, and has competitive pricing. This place failed on all accounts. I understand taking precautions on Covid, I know there are things that must be done in order to open, but my goodness theirs are extreme! Everything about them, from requiring your temperature at the door, making you sign not one, but THREE separate consent forms, to signs plastered EVERYWHERE telling you to social distance and wear masks, just seems to scream you are not welcomed. I don't understand it. You would think as a small business, you would go out of your way to make people WANT to be there and feel good when they are there. That way they will stay longer or come back. Yes, that would also include feeling safe, but not constantly remind people you think they are full of germs. Then charge them twenty more than other places and not even remove all the old polish! Not going back there ever. I hope the owners sees this and realizes how their policies are driving customers away. read more

I have always loved getting my nails done here. My natural nails are so soft, I can bend them backwards without any pain at all so for most of my adult life I've had acrylics. After 15 years of having acrylic nails, I thought I'd never find someone who could deal with my flat nail beds, oily skin and nails that grow seemingly sideways (I know, my nails sound lovely don't they?) but then I found Vi. I can't imagine that the product she uses is magical or anything extraordinarily different than other places so I have to conclude that it's her skill that keeps my nails on a week longer than with other places and looking somewhat natural instead of the wreck that they were before. She does such a great job that I'd probably go to her if she was a mad woman but she's just the sweetest thing ever. The other gals are so friendly also- I just love coming here! My mom and I have been going here once a month for 5 years and have yet to fine a comparable place. I've gone to fancy spas and still fine myself coming back to this place for manicures, pedicures and eyebrow waxing. The staff is accommodating and friendly. One of the things I adore about this place is that they are thorough in their work. Leg massages during pedicures aren't brief and are very soothing. I'm on my feet for 95% of my job and I run and take dance classes during the week so their attention to detail is important. I get many compliments on how my eyebrows look and I have Nail Masters to thank for that. They don't over wax and pluck. They take walk-ins but I prefer to book appointments. The place is clean, good smelling and welcoming. The 25 minute commute from Seattle is highly worth it. read more

I found this place on yelp. It was close to my house. Very clean inside. Workers weren't super friendly when I walked in. Told me to pick a color and take a seat. They were busy, but surprisingly I only waited ten minutes before getting sat for my pedicure. Once in the chair, soaking in the water, I waited another 5-10 min before someone started my pedi. But like I said they were busy so I understand the wait and it wasn't super long. Prices are good and they did a great job on my toes. I recently took my step-daughters here (11 and 8) for a "girls" afternoon, so they could get their first mani-pedi's. The service was excellent! The girls loved the attention they got, and the ladies at the salon did a great job making this such an enjoyable experience for us all. They took their time and did a wonderful job on our nails. The salon is clean and very sanitary, and their pricing is comparable to other salons ($32 for a french tip mani and a solid color pedi). Love this place! I found it about 7 years ago and then moved from the area, and missed it while I was gone. I finally moved back to Mill Creek and I have visited this place multiple times. Recently, I visited the salon and had a fantastic mani by a young man, who has given me what I call the best manicure ever. Very thorough and detailed, my nails look amazing. Plus he made sure I was happy with my shellac color before painting every nail. When it came time for my hand massage, he turned my ring towards my palm, which was more for his comfort, but I loved it because then I wasn't stuck with lotion in my ring. A friend and I went here for a mani/pedi a couple of days ago. The facility was nice and mostly clean. The staff were friendly. The issue I have is that the person who did my service was very rough with the cuticle and nail clippers. I actually jerked my foot away reflexively at one point. She was also fairly aggressive with the nail file. I don't have very long fingernails at all, so this was somewhat uncomfortable. I also have a bruise on my shin, and she kept rubbing her hand over it during the leg massage. I won't go back there. The other thing I thought was kind of strange was that I never could tell if it was time to go bc after they got done, they both just wandered off into the back and didn't surface for several minutes. I finally just asked, hey, are we done? Any way, that was kinda awkward. Gave them one star for relative cleanliness and one for their kindness. read more

This place was OK. The gal I had did an excellent massage on my 30 deluxe pedicure. They were busy and switched people on me for the polishing and my manicure and wax. They did not use the cuticle remover on my manicure and I felt like that service was about subpar. The wax seemed to turn out well...the whole service was $78 not including tip. A few things that will keep me searching for somewhere better besides the subpar manicure was the fact that they don't take Amex and ask that you pay your tips in cash only. Sorry that's far too inconvenient. If your in the town center area and want a nail service I would easily recommend this over French Nails.
