I have been getting my nails done at Nail Perfection for nearly 13 years. Never have I ever had an experience like I did today. Dominic was the nail technician that was working with me today for a dip manicure. From the moment he sat down, he seemed uninterested. I say "uninterested" because he cut my finger with the nail file because he wasn't looking at what he was doing. He then proceeded to push part of my skin back down like nothing ever happened. Concluding this he stuck my hand in a bowl of acetone not paying attention to the cut on my finger. Now I've had several dip manicures, and I have always had the technician apply a base coat before proceeding with the color powder. Dominic apparently does not believe in a base coat. Nor does he believe in a top coat. My nails are gritty and uneven. Not to mention that you can see the previous color underneath because he failed to remove all of the previous dip powder. I am furious that anyone would treat someone like that and then expect to be tipped for their work! Sorry! I shouldn't have had to pay for this manicure at all! read more

I thought I would give this place a second chance, I took my little sister to get her nails done and we called a day before and made a appointment for 2:10 the guy said yes that would be fine, we got here at 2:00 and currently it's 2:40 and she still hasn't received service, last time same thing happened, we made a appointment and we waited for a whole hour with still no service, even a lady before up time got up and left because she had been waiting for so long and she said "good luck, I've been her for a hour and 30 minutes. This isn't how you run a business, especially because both times we've made appointments. They do good work and go price but at the same time I think it's just wrong. read more

I came here to get my toe nails painted with a design for my birthday. I chose this place because of the good reviews. They couldn't do the design I wanted, which wouldn't have been a big deal if they hadn't laughed in my face and talked to me like I was stupid. I've gotten my nails done how I had asked before and it wasn't a problem, they just didn't seem to want to put in the effort. They offered a different design which I said was fine and instead of doing it they just painted my nails and walked off. I could've painted my nails plain myself. read more

I went in last Tuesday to get a full set and gel polish change on my toes . My appointment was at 5:15 I didn't get into the chair until 6:30 . They rushed to do my nails & didn't get my toes done because they closed at 7. I came back Wednesday to get my toes done that was fine , but by Thursday I was back because my nail cracked . I have been going here to get my nails done for about 9 months now and schedule with Luna every time. I have acrylics and usually get them in a slightly more pointed almond shape which is difficult for most technicians. Note that I am also very picky and usually have to instruct through my entire appointment at other places to get things to look the way I like. Here, however, I have absolutely no problem and I always walk out the door feeling like I have just had the best possible service. In addition everyone else here is so nice and warm and I really feel at home while I'm here. read more

I moved to Kansas about 6 months ago and have not found the perfect nail salon until I went here for the first time last week! This will now be my go-to nail salon and I couldn't be happier! I only get gel manicures, and they have an extensive gel color selection, a color for every occasion. My nail tech was equally thorough and quick. My gels still have a lot of life left after about a week. The price for gel manicure is very reasonable considering their quality, speed, attention to detail, and overall salon cleanliness. I arrived at the nail shop right before 6pm. I asked the nail tech if they had time to get me in for fill. I was told the wait time would be thirty minutes. I agreed and signed myself in and ran home to let my dog out and came back in about 15 minutes. I was not greeted the 2nd time i arrived so i figured it was bc they knew i had returned. As i sit about 15-20 minutes , and see two of the techs finish and start with a new customer I asked them how much longer i had to before it was my turn. I basically was told there would be no time to fit me in. Puzzled i began to explain to the nail tech that i had been waiting and even showed him where i signed myself in. I left without getting my nails done and am sorry to say i will not return to this establishment. I know that accidents happen and you may get busy, but that is bad for bussiness. I would say I was looked over but honestly I'm sure not too many people come in that resemble me each day, (racially speaking) and out of 5 tech working I know Atleast one of them could recall our conversation and could have apologized if it were an honest mistake... needless to say I'm on the hunt for a good nail shop in Olathe . read more

THIS PLACE IS AWFUL!! They make you feel very uncomfortable by pointing at you and laughing and talking. I am not talking about myself either. A heavy set lady was there and her chair creaked a lot and they would keep pointing at her. SECOND. Their nails are a waste of money they chip and break within the first day, the acrylic is flexible which is not normal. I went back to try and get them fixed and they freaking charged me.
