Well, I went down a rabbit hole and found Poppy and Monroe! A head spa is more than just a massage. At Poppy and Monroe, they give you a scalp analysis, massage, and essential oil treatments, with plenty of warm, rushing water to rinse and finesse. My treatment, which was pretty pricey at around 300 bucks, also included a facial (the esthetician rubbing my face was divine), foot massage, and hand/arm massage. At the beginning of the head treatment, Anna (who was AMAZING, by the way) showed me what was good and bad about my hair and scalp--my scalp was some of the best she'd seen, but was a little pale and needed more blood flow. She then showed me what my scalp looked like after that treatment, and there was indeed more blood flow, and looked more vibrant and less anemic. Anna was professional and kind and told me what she was doing every step of the way. She made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Everything felt wonderful. The vibe was calm. I felt relaxed. After the visit, Anna gave me pointers on how to care for my scalp and recommendations for returning for further treatments, but not in a gimmicky-trying-to-sell-me-stuff way. The space is warm and welcoming and also offers pedicures, manicures, and makeup sessions. The pedicure/manicure spaces are a little close together for my taste (I prefer private rooms), but they are stylish and clean. I plan to come back and see Anna again to work on my self care regimen. And there are lots of cute restaurants and shops in the area, so you can park and make an afternoon of it!

Still took her 5 hrs but I liked Rickole. She told me how she redid clients nails for free. How she barely charge because of how slow she is. I told her, girl I can easily pay what you're doing at the asians 175 for hands and feet and they weren't even doing designs on my feet. You're doing designs and my feet and still charging me under 130. And I still tip them. I told her to make a policy and stick to it. If a charm come off and it's past a day or two, charge them for a new charm. That's time and inventory. She was doing someone's nails on Sunday when they told her they'd soak their nails off. I guess she was mad I got food but it was paid for! She would've been just as mad that I brought it in! I would've left it but she take all day so everything would've been closed anyway. Mind you I'm like she know I wouldn't have been this late for nothing. I've not been late before! Plus she canceled on me to go to atl! I got there about 10:15am and the lady that usually does my nails (Bebe) wasn't there no big deal I'll go get breakfast and come back. However I went got my food ate and she still wasn't there. now it's about 10:45 or so. I have things to do I can't just sit and wait time is money so I let (Cindy) go ahead and do my nails. The biggest mistake like I already knew it was she's absolutely horrible at nails brows is her lane it's like she's practicing or something just bad. So she starts drilling my nails, and her phone is propped up on a table next to her and she's looking at her phone and back at my hands first red flag I had 2 nails that needed repaired one being my pinky which is pictured. so she gets them both glued on and move to drilling my left hand. I look at the nails she just put on ,and the pinky is crooked like extremely crooked!! she looks at it and tries to peel it off with her bare hands instead of soaking it off WTF!!! not once but twice I even offered to take it off myself ,because no bihhh you not about to keep hurting me like that. I told her that hurts she needs to soak it off you can't pull it off like that (once again). she then gets acetone and say "I told you " as if it was my fault that she chose to peel it off. Like how tf was that my fault? So we got past that and Cindy tries to fill my nails yet again .
