Palm nails is located in a little strip mall. There is a good amount of parking. Does not seem like parking would be an issue. This was the first time to this nail salon. Think I arrived there at just the right time as I got seated right away. A few minutes later, more people came in and had to wait a bit. The staff seemed nice. More on the quiet side. Had some old school music playing in the background which was cool. They had a few spa pedicure seats and manicure stations. This visit was for a pedicure. Got seated in one of the spa massage chairs. They have books of nail polish colors that you can choose from. There was a good selection of colors. Just got the basic pedicure and added on the callus remover. For the callus remover, she scrubbed extra hard. Not enough to hurt, but close to it. I did not inspect the finished product too closely before leaving. But, afterwards, noticed that the polish color was slightly lighter and did not have the shimmer like the polish that was selected. However, that's my fault as she did ask me if the color was OK. Also noticed a spot on one nail and noticeable brush strokes in the nail polish. Not bad enough got me to go back and ask to get it fixed. But, definitely far from perfect. Overall, this place is average. Not bad and not great. This is definitely not a place to come for a quicky. It took a little over 45mins for a refill. At first my lady was super friendly and nice, then she got a little on the rude side and hurt some of my fingers. At the end though, I must say she did a great job and I was happy with my nails. My friend on the other hand, who was here to get her nails done for her bday ended up not so happy. One of her nails actually broke less than an hour after we left the shop. she wanted her nails all yellow but the ladies kept pressuring her to add little designs. Her yellow nails ended up looking good on color as we left but the design was not the best at all. I mean look at the pictures and judge for yourself. Overall, she went back to get her nails fixed because even the yellow got choppy. We will not be going back because we spent almost $70 bucks here. Okay so this was my first time ever getting my nails done with a professional! Vivian did my manicure and Nina did my pedicure. Let me say I never done my nails and they were both super friendly, professional, and made me feel very good and comfortable. The place is nice and very welcoming. Vivian is a pro and the gel was on point! My hands looks perfect. When I said there was a slight missing spot on the nail's edge she fixed it right away and kindly. Nina is still good when she cleaned my cuticles, when he did a full callus exfoliation I was laughing and yet she did a great job. I also noticed she missed an area on top of a nail so went back and she was so kind and fix it. The people are rude here. first of all the acrylics were advertised for $35 but they told me it was $40 and then $8 extra for one mail with a heart shape. And then $10 extra for the coffin shape for all the nails. And $8 extra to get three little rhinestones on the mail with a heart shape. I'll start off on a positive note. The gel manicures are great and they have a large variety of colors to choose from. They give you a hand and arm massage and are very precise in their work. Daisy is my go to nail heck. She always does an amazing job for a decent price. I usually get overlay on my natural nails and choose a gel color or take my own covers for her to apply. She is the only nail tech I go to every 2-3 weeks, but sometimes If she's too busy I'll just have the owner take care of my nails for that day. They do manicures, pedicures, waxing, full set acrylics and nail designs. The downside is they don't respect appointments. I've had them skip me numerous times even tho I call hours in advanced to schedule. Your best bet is to just show up and see how long the wait is. Be ready to wait standing up because they're always extremely busy. There's plenty of businesses in the area so you can grab a bite to eat or get some Starbucks coffee so your wait doesn't feel as bad. read more

Just called in, to make my usual appointment that I do every 2 weeks for a gel manicure, and gel pedicure. As the owner Sara informs me that Vanessa will no longer be doing my nails and toes if I don't start tipping her more. I am very disappointed and upset that they told me this because I have been a customer for many years, I've also taken them many clients. What a customer decides to tip is completely up to them, there is no need for the OWNER or NAIL TECHNICIAN to ask for more tip. After many years of being a loyal customer I have decided to go there no longer. They don't accept credit/debit cards as form of payments anymore! They only accept cash or VENMO. She really listens and delivers when I have a specific design in mind. When I don't have a design in mind, she always surprises me with something trendy! My nails always look so fresh. I'm so glad I did :) Initially walkin in, I had to put my name down on their list because there was one customer already waiting. Just as I was going to sit down, a really nice guy (sam) told me to go to his little area to start on my nails. I had waaaay too many ideas on different designs I was thinking about and he was very patient through all my indecisiveness and even showed me pics on his phone of different designs he had made.
