I've gone twice now and both experiences were great, starting with them always asking if we want any tea, coffee, water, etc. The prices are so great for the service you get, and they use great products/brands. I give this place three stars and I am writing a review after receiving several manicure and pedicures from them. I feel that every time I go there, they are in a rush. They rush through the whole appointment and I always end up getting cuts on my skin from them moving to quickly and being rough. And their prices are EXPENSIVE. You would think for the price that you pay and the great tips I provide, they would be a little less rough and more patient with their customers. And the best part is, when they massage you for the mani/pedi, they do about 15 seconds of it and then they are done. I will not be coming back. read more

Wow!!! I dont know where to start with this beautiful place. I was in Chicago visiting family. Me and my sissy in law wanted to have girly time and go get a pedicure. I called Nailbar Studio and talked to a girl on the phone, she was so nice and welcoming and was able to fit us right in for a gel manicure and pedicure. We got there and they have a cute little coffee bar area and the setup is gorgeous! I love the modern style and they have a variety of colors to choose from. Overall, I was VERY VERY pleased with their services. I just wish there was a place like this back home :( but at least I now know this is my sissy in law's favorite place :) Cheers! read more

I was going to be in the area on a Sunday afternoon and was searching yelp for a place to go to. So glad I chose Nail Bar. Everyone was so friendly and it was very clean. I liked that they have you sanitize your hands before picking a polish. I have to say it was one of the best foot massages I've ever had. The lady was very patient when my no chip was not matching my toes and they were supposed to be the same OPI nail color. She had to put 4 coats and they don't feel thick at all. They have the best massage chairs too unlike typical nail salon massage chairs. Also, they have a great selection for nail colors! My no chip lasted over 3 weeks! Super disappointed & disheartened by this experience. I was extremely excited about getting a no chip mani/pedi at NailBar Studio. I walked in & their salon is very nicely decorated & very modern. I was greeted, set my kids up in the waiting area & sat in the pedicure chair. They began my soaking off my no chip nail color as you would a dip, all well attempting to get the no chip off of my toes as well. After about 20 minutes, she began SCRAPING the nail color off my nails; this was both extreme, teeth gritting pain. After scraping all ten of my nail and the nail color not coming off, she re-wrapped them in remover and tin foil. After 20 more minutes passed, another women came and filed the color off, only to tell me they don't do acrylic fills and don't have the proper tools to do my nails today. I then proceed to go to the counter and pay for my toes and the women who I assume is the owner, charges me $50 for a pedicure. No apology for the painful mess she just left on my fingernails, nor an understanding of what they had just done. I will not be returning to NailBar Studio & moving forward, will be clarifying that the people I am spending my hard earned money on, are completely capable & qualified to do their job. read more

Came here for the first time on the day before thanksgiving. I was worried I wouldn't get an appointment but found one the night before and book online. Love that. I had no-chip polish on and came a little earlier then my appointment to make sure there would be enough time to remove. Told the lady at the front desk and I was taken right away. This is by far the best no-chip manicure I have had since moving out this way. She really took her time, super gentle, she shaped my nails perfectly. Made sure I was comfortable. First thing I loved is that the salon doesn't smell like chemicals just like other places, they only do natural nails so for me that's a plus, they also have a lot of colors to choose from. I got a regular mani/pedi and the lady was very lovely, she took her time first with my feet and the massage was really nice. I usually do not write reviews, however I was reminded of a time when I visited this nail salon. I had just lost my grandmother due to Covid. I was preparing for the funeral. I was not to thrilled with the pedicure I had received. It felt rushed. The color that was chosen to match my gel polish was off. In fact the entire service was awful. I decided that I did not want to continue with my service. I had asked if they could fix the issue. They denied and told me that they had other customers to tend to. I did not get upset or irate, I simply was prepared to pay for the services that I had received up to that point. While apologizing and letting the tech know that I was not happy and would be ending my service. The nail technician began to ask me if I worked... in a condescending tone. I was completely offended. I am sure that if I had been White, I would not have been asked. I kept my composure. I did reply and told the technician that I in fact do work and I that I work in Insurance as a Account Mgr. As I checked out for my services, I saw the tech whispering and talking to one of the other techs while looking in my direction. The service was terrible. I felt humiliated. Just because I did not like my service did not mean that I could not afford or did not have money to pay. I have a great paying job. No customer should ever be treated like this. I will never spend my dollars in this salon again. I left out the shop embarrassed with my nails looking a mess. I went to Magic Nails up the street who were completely professional, efficient and got the job done. My Mani and Pedi always turn out perfect there. Please use extreme caution when booking here.
