I came here a few years ago with my sister, and I had the worst experience ever. I don't have the photo of how my nails turned out anymore, but I will upload my inspiration photo. I wanted the blush/aura effect, they told me they can't do it and that it's just a filter. The french tips they did on me looked horrible, and the heart came out look like mickey mouse instead of a heart. Another thing I would like to mention is that they snipped my skin while trimming my cuticles, and didn't inform me that they were going to disinfect the wound. Mind you, it was bleeding. It hurt so bad they even asked if I wanted to take a break because I started crying. I was so upset with how my nails turned out, and I was extremely upset with my experience. To start, I have actually been here before and left a pretty bad review, not going to lie. However, sometimes with nail places -- especially if it's one with multiple techs, I believe it's fair to give places a couple of chances. You never know if the just the tech was bad or if they were having a bad day. Any who, I have been there twice since my bad review and to be fair, both of those times my toes came out cute. Plus they lasted a long time without chipping. The place is really clean, and the girls are really nice. There are two reasons I'm giving this place 4 stars instead of five. The first is because I called in the morning for a pedi, and asked for a 2 pm appointment, or 1:45 pm (something like that;) and they said 2:30 would work best for them. Totally chill, I had nothing to do so 2:30 worked great for me. I get there at 2:30 and get seated in the waiting room to pick my color. They offered me a drink and again were super sweet. After I choose my color, the nice lady starts setting me up at a manicure station. I let her know I actually called for a pedi and she was like "odd, we had you down for a mani. No worries I'm going to get you set up for a pedi. That took about 15 minutes. This did not include the 10-12 minutes I waited in the waiting area. This is not the biggest deal, I'm just sharing the potential average wait times. The second reason I did not give this place the full five stars is because the color I chose was like a periwinkle color. And when I do a pastel shade like that or a neon shade I always ask EXACTLY TWO COATS. The first, a white base. And the next, one coat of whatever color I chose. Every. Single. Time. I ask for this. NO MATTER WHERE I GO (so this is not exclusive to this location,) the nail techs always try to convince me to not do that. They tell me it would be better to just get two shades of the color I'm choosing. And while I super respect the opinion of nail professionals, I also have been getting my toes does for 20+ years, so I definitely know what I like. And again, while I know to some people it may not make sense bc maybe they've never done this technique before. To me it does, bc I've gotten it done multiple times, and I feel like it makes the color appear truer and BRIGHTER than just two coats of the polish that I have chosen. Like I said, this wasn't a huge deal to me, because i literally get push back for this at every single salon I go to. But also, it would be so nice if just one time I got to hear, "yes, a white base, not a problem at all." Those are just some of the small reasons I did not give it the full five. But that is not to say my experience was not good bc after she decided she was going to just do the white base everything was super solid. MY TOES LOOK GREAT!!!!! I got them done about a week and a half ago, went on vacation and they're still out here looking FLAWLESS!!! So overall, would I come here again? Yes, definitely!! I came in asking for hard gel because I've been growing out my natural nails for months. Instead, they suggested Gel-X. I explained that I wanted to keep my natural nails, but was told I couldn't, and that Gel-X was the better option. I eventually agreed, but made it very clear that I did not want my natural nails cut down. Despite that, they proceeded to cut my entire nails off. To make things worse, the Gel-X set I received wasn't even properly shaped--the nails looked bulky and uneven. This was my 1st time there and I was excited for a kind of posh experience as this what they advertise on their website/social media and I was really disappointed. The job that they did costed over 200$ and not worth it. Went to many nail salons in LA and this was by far the worst. Did not feel comfortable here and lady in the front was rude after I didn't tip. My girlfriend took me here to get my nails done as a wedding gift. It's soooo beautiful inside. There's no such thing as too much pink, when you step inside it's pink galore. I didn't tell the manicurist that they were my wedding nails because I wasn't paying, but I was being a little meticulous. The experience was nice, I definitely felt taken care of. They do Russian manicures and it was so cool! My cuticles definitely look more clean. They pay great attention and detail to your nails and I appreciated it. I have knock a star because they sat me in the back alone and my friend at another station, so I didn't really get to talk to her the whole time. I would have preferred being together. My friends and I were on a staycation in Pasadena and thought of getting our nails done here. They were very transparent about their availability over the phone for walk ins. They told us to come after an hour. We got there after an hour and didn't even have to wait. We were seated immediately. The staff is friendly. The pedicure itself started off with a foot soak in water that has rose petals in it- fancy! I have really bad toe nails but the nail specialist somehow made them look pretty! I recently was a walk in for a gel pedi and i was pleased with the service and cleanliness of the technicians work so I decided to book a mani appt because my manicurist was on vacation and we had a last minute event. I called in advance and inquired about a structured gel manicure. The employee on the phone assured me that their gel manicure ("hard gel mani") was the exact same thing. Although the technician did a beautiful job with the manicure it was a simple gel mani and I was charged $100 for it which is ridiculous. I was desperate and in a rush so I didn't say anything. I had a broken nail and informed her and she said the hard gel will fix it. The nail was still broken afterwards and now I paid $100 for a regular gel mani and the broken nail I had wasn't even fixed she just put gel over it. The next day I had to apply some sort of glue to keep my nail from completely breaking and ripping off my hyponychium. The nail tech was precise and although the end result was beautiful, she cut me and burned my skin several times while filing and trimming my cuticles. The next day the side of my nail was red, inflamed and infected from the cut and I had to drain it and apply antibiotic ointment. This is unacceptable! There's way too much to mention here..... one of which is that the girl who initially removed my structured gel manicure filed my nails so darn thin that they were paper thin. If you are used to structured gel manicures which are amazing and a lot of hard work and don't damage your nails don't come here. They are great with regular gel and pedicures but the hard gel is definitely not the same as a structured gel manicure. Please do me a favor and train your staff properly not to mislead customers!! read more

It has been quite some time since I've been to this location. However I still feel hurt by the way I was treated here. I was a consistent client for one year - spending between $300-$400 every visit 1-2 times a month. $150 for manicure and $130 for pedicure + $20 tip x2 for each nail tech. And an additional $20 for French tips hands and feet. Every time I went I was sure to have my nails done by Austin (beautiful young Armenian girl). She did such an incredible job every time that I never knew otherwise. I assumed that was why the prices were so high and so I was fine with it. After a while, I brought a friend from out town. This meant that Austin was doing my nails and someone else would be doing my friends. Unfortunately, my friend left extremely unhappy with her nails. I could agree. They were far from special and cost a fortune for the outcome. I was paying so I guess the anger wasn't too strong since I was happy with my nails and my friend didn't pay herself. Moving forward to the next friend who came to visit a few months later. Same situation. I had Austine and she had someone else. She left literally bleeding from being cut in two places. Emotionally distraught from the rudeness of the Russian lady who was doing her toes and mocking her while she was in pain from being cut. And to top it off her nails looked terrible AND we still paid full price. Again. I paid. So yes we were frustrated, but my nails were still good and I left it up to my friend to handle her situation if she wanted to get them fixed (of course not since she was bleeding). I reached out to Nune about the situation and she asked for images in return to "prove" the incident. Let's recap... I've been a consistent client for a year at this point spending more than $300/ month and bringing in new clients regardless of the previous issues. And yet I am having to "prove" that my friend received a bad service.... Hmmm. Now, the final straw was when I got the worst nails I've ever had. I called in and always got the same thing: gel extension manicure with French tip from Austine. ALWAYS Austin. And Gel French tip pedicure from any nail tech. For some reason when I booked this appointment I came in and Austin was not there. I was confused. Why would they book me when they know I don't like anyone but Austin? So I went with it since I took time off work for it. And I left bleeding and in shock at how terrible they looked. So whatever. I should be able to let Nune know and get a full set on the house. Right? Having paid $300+ for this set I can't imagine them charging me again. LOL NOPE! She told me to come back in and have them fixed. Then I was leaving and out of my own kindness I still stopped at the front desk to confirm they would be taking care of it. The receptionist called Nune in front of me and at the end of the call said "she will only be charging you $180" LOL WTF THATS THE NORMAL PRICE! Keep in mind I came back within one week of having the bad set. Because I didn't want to seem like I was trying to get one whole set for free. I didn't wait until they needed to be filled. I couldn't have anyways they were so hideous. So I paid. And I tipped. And I never went the f*ck back. AND I took almost one year to write this review for some reason. They were nice to my face but that is insane behavior for a place that is never busy with clients and has numerous bad reviews. Just because Khloe Kardashian came to your opening doesn't mean sh**. You can't ride off that and provide terrible customer service. Anyways. Just don't go here. I haven't found anywhere in Glendale that is quality. Austin needs to open her own shop. They also changed their suppliers near the end because my last few sets started breaking out of nowhere. Causing me to have to schedule time to come in and fix one nail at a time. Very inconvenient and trashy. That's not how you increase profit. Increase profit by maintaining consistency and kindness. read more

I treated my mom here as a surprise for her birthday! I called earlier the same day to make an appointment and they were able to fit us in at a reasonable time. We got there on time and waited about 20-30 minutes for our service to start which I didn't mind. The inside of the store is beautiful and so I took pics of my mom and selected the colors for our nails while we waited. I got a gel manicure which was 65$ and my mom got a regular mani pedi, all together it was about $170ish which I thought was pretty well priced for such a fancy looking salon! FYI they do use a different technique for cleaning your cuticles which is all tool based so it may make your fingers a little sensitive but tbh my fingers have never looked cleaner/neater! The one thing I don't think I'd get here is the extra designs they charge per nail ($10) for designs and ombré is $35 extra. read more
