The worse service ever! I went today for only polish. They did and after 2 hours later I wouldn't expect they would shrink back. My two toes were chipped off on the tips, the lady blamed me that I wore my shoes without my toes getting dried. I said I waited 10 mins and then wore my shoes and left. I went back for them to fix it. Another lady tried fixing. I got so mad because instead of cleaning my old manicure and redo it. She only cleaned the part where it was pushed back and redo it again. It looked uneven. OF COURSE!! You can't clean half of the manicure and try fixing it. It won't be even. The first time was fine, no issues whatsoever, but when I got the pedicure I didn't appreciate being yelled at by the guy working there. I asked for quick-dry nail polish and he said "the top coat is" but it wasn't because as soon as I got into my car a toe nail had chipped. Worst of all, I now have a fungus on both of my feet. I wanted to take off my gel nails and get a manicure and instead of paying $25 at the nice salon next door, I tried to save money and paid $10 here. So I guess, it's true you get what you pay for. One star because: First, I walked in and not a single soul acknowledged me. I stood there for several minutes until finally I stared down a worker and he didn't say hi but asked what I wanted. Second, this place is dirty and there is equipment everywhere. My chair had old nail shavings, the floors are dirty, the walls are dirty and the nail polish are old and not neatly organized. Third, the guy was obviously very much in a hurry, he wasn't at all trying to do his job well but rather hurry on to the next customer. When he clipped my nails it hurt because he wasn't doing it right and it made me flinch. The shape of my nails looked ridiculously unprofessional and when I asked him to fix it he was annoyed. Finally, when I got home my nails were literally in pain and I realized he had buffed them down too much and you could see the pink flesh staring to show through. I absolutely recommend you stay away, it's honestly worth it to save up your money and go somewhere more upscale. The word ghetto truly fits this establishment. I live in Glendale and I've tried most of the nail salons in the area and this one is the best for Gel Nails and SNS Dip nails (last the longest) by far. Their pricing is also very fair and worth every penny. Any negative reviews on here are just not true... I don't know how they don't have all 5 stars... I was a bit early for the Yelp Project Taco Yelp Elite Event. The place didn't open until 12PM and I rolled up around 11:45am. So I walked down the street and saw that this Nail shop was opened! I obviously didn't have time for a mani or pedi but saw that they did eye brow threading. A lady was in the shop requesting an appointment. When she left, I asked the guy how much eye brow threading was and he said $12. That sounded reasonable and I hadn't had my eye brows done in months. I love this place! I've gotten my pedicure done here every time the last 6+ months. They're very prompt on getting you your appointment when you call. Parking looks overwhelming since they're on the busier side of brand Blvd but just make sure to take advantage of the 90-min free parking on N Artsakh Ave. All the employees are super nice and have great attention to detail. I'm not sure if he was the man or owner and he basically laughed in front of my face and walked away from me while he said that nails grow out at two weeks and after. I explained to him that I understand that but it's almost two weeks. He mocked me. He then argued stating that I said two weeks and I said less than two weeks. I can't believe he demeaned me in front of other clients as well and laughed at my face. Let's start from beginning after going to this salon for about 6 months and dealing only with male specialist only thing I can say that he is the only person who has any ethics dealing with customers and work. So I came here on Tuesday which was his day off and asked to get FULL new SET of Acrylics- gel, Fill and change my pedicure - gel . One girl stated my feel another one my hands - so She started with taking out my old gel from my nails and told me it's $10 to take out gel, I am like huh since when I have to pay for old gel removal when I need a new set, girl who was doing my feet told me same thing that it's $10 to remove the gel and put a new one ( removing wig machine not even with foil ) so she started gluing my nails and I asked to cut average length ( not long as I used to get ) and she said that because of this length it will be $20 extra regular full set , so the price for length and removing old gel to put a new set is already $30, so I asked her how much it will be a price for Final service - she said verbally will be $80 I am like what the hell are you talking about , full set gel is goin to be $80? Are u kiddin me I told her to stop because i never paid 80 for my service with male technician , she started mingling in her language and they all started and she started raising her voice and becoming aggressive , she wanted to remove and cut my mails off saying I am not going to continue Workin if you not paying 80 and grabbed nails polish remover and reached to my nails and attacking me to to pull the tools she glued , later when I took a photo of her license she gave me prices on paper 65 and another 75 total of 150 for full set gel acrylic and pedicure with gel with acrylic on couple toe nails , ridiculous when usual price changes to 80$. They see person with nice car jewelry with bracelets they think we stupid for my gel pedicure and couple toe nails that I like to make acrylic to make them pretty - so she told me the price will be $75, I Made them both to write down the price breakdown what they charging for and why the difference is between male and them 50$ apart . Anyways she walked up yelled started talking non sense and left me half of way done with my nails just glued on my fingers . Amazon's . I am Putting complaint with board and I will make sure she will Lose her license because I never saw this much of unprofessional approach than this technician. They're open late to accommodate a wide range of working class civilians, and don't rush the job just to get people in!
