Horrible. Overview: Cut my finger open, cut my nail short on accident and had to make the others match, charged 107$ for gel mani and pedi. I asked for my money back and got a no. I am insanely disappointed. I decided to check this place out bc I was so far from my normal salon. The nail tech was filing my nails and broke the thumb so it was so short that she then cut all the others to match! Then she cut my finger open and it was bleeding for 10 min. I think my fear of getting my fingers burned may have been conquered today. I met Young. That is her name. I haven't had a manicure or pedicure since June of 2015. That's was 3 years ago! Why? Because the last time I went, I bled so bad from being burned by their drill. I cannot pay $115 and walk out with an injury! It took me many years to get over that last experience. That was at Nails N Spa. Today, I went in expecting to be tortured . No more acrylics for me. No more fills. No more drills and sanding down with electric tools. I asked for and received a French style manicure and pedicure. Young took the time to do it right. She's professional and polite and has the bedside manner of a well trained Nurse. She always checked in on me to make sure I was comfortable. The gal that answers the phone and sets these appointments is well trained and very kind as well. She also will greet you when you walk in. After 3 years off because of a few bad experiences, I will continue to have Young do my nails. She was so patient and kind, that I have scheduled to have my 2 year old Grand Daughter's nails done tomorrow. I don't foresee any problems. 5 stars for this nail salon. I highly recommend them. i'm so irritated. i came here about 3 weeks ago after finding it online and was helped by the lovely and super sweet Trinity. She did my nails perfectly, exactly as I asked and even gave me a discount, even though I got a special shape and powder. my total came out to $62 fast forward to today. I called early for Trinity but unfortunately she was booked until 6, and unfortunately i had work and didn't know when I'd next have time, plus did not want to risk a nail breaking off. They had an opening for 1pm so I agreed, came in for my FILL. ALL my nails intact. I asked for a specific french nail tip and even provided pictures. my issue with certain nail techs is, if you're incompetent at trendy designs, shapes, etc, then be upfront about BEFORE you even touch my nails. i shouldn't have to waste my time and money simply because you want to make a sale. that's being greedy for money. The french tip I asked for was too high up. Also, when he was filing my nails, he kept trying to taper my nails as if they were coffin which they are NOT. i HATE coffin shaped nails and again, paid a SPECIFIC price for a special shaped tip/nail when I originally came. so why my nails are now slightly tapered, i'm not sure. i should've spoken up but my time is specifically tailored to my schedule. I have a life, work, school. i cannot afford for someone to re-do my whole nail. besides that, i would have to wait and get an entirely new set to fix the shape. unbelievable! if you're not skilled enough to gauge what the shape originally was, then ASK. as the professional, i expect YOU to know!! also, the tip/top of my nail has no nail polish. do you know how ugly and unfinished that looks? and with the fucked up shape, my nails look fat, instead of thin. my nails are supposed to be a thin/skinny SQAURE shape. and also...if i'm coming in for a FILL.... why is my total $73?! ten dollars MORE than a full set when i first came? what a fucking rip off! my nails aren't even that long! 73 dollars and you can't even paint the entire nail? how lazy! the red are my nails, the blue is the kind of french tip and shape i had/wanted. The issue is the older, brown haired receptionist. I have visited more than enough times to see if her attitude and behavior gets better or not and it doesn't. She makes semi-racist comments(things that make you go "WTF"), talks inappropriately to staff and gets offended when she makes a mistake. She has accountability issues and doesn't know how to just be a receptionist. She constantly gives her opinion when not needed and makes the vibe really uncomfortable there. Just got my nails done after reading good reviews. The lady at the front desk was super sweet and so was the technician. My nails however, were so ugly unfortunately. I asked for almond shape and all of them are uneven. Some were pointy and some were round and fat. The design I got was a simple gold swirl and even the design was clumpy. The colors on my nails were blotchy as well. Super disappointed! Paid 70$. I have to go fix them somewhere else. read more

TIP FOR ALL CUSTOMERS: you should ask for pricing for your SPECIFIC service before the service to make sure there's no miscommunication. Came in today when they first opened and was helped right away. I asked specifically for the basic pedicure, the guy (forgot his name) gave me the spa packages book and pointed to the ($27) "basic" pedicure. I thought, geez that's expensive usually it's $20-22 for the most basic pedicure. I still needed my pedicure so I just said "ok" thinking it was their "basic pedicure". This was very misleading. He didn't give me an option of "we have a $22 basic pedicure, and we have our $27 "basic spa pedicure" which includes this type of lotion .. the one he said that was 27 basic pedicure did not include hot towel which I love, I was thinking the whole time how come he didn't include hot towel.. When I went up to pay, I found another menu that was up front. What do you know, I checked the price for basic pedicure and it was $22!! How come it wasn't on the pedicure menu he gave me? Why didn't he give me that option, when I SPECIFICALLY asked for it?I complained to the front receptionist and my technician came up. He said I originally agreed to the $27, but he will still charge me $22. Yes, I agreed to $27 only because he said it was their BASIC pedicure price (that doesn't include hot towel, or callus that I normally pay a little extra for). I'm actually glad that he agreed for me to pay $22 for my service, because this review would've went to a 1 star as soon as I left the salon. Anyways, there's so much more other nail salons around the area by my house, I'll go elsewhere next time. read more

I got acrylic done and it was an ok job. When they did my pedicure is was the worst experience I've had. The person did not clean the nails properly and the polish was no good. They kept layering the polish too thick and clumpy, they had to keep redoing the same nail over and over again. Noticing she was struggling I just asked her to remove the nail polish. When I went to pay and the guy in the booth next to the register asked what was wrong, I explained it to him and he didn't even bother to look or even offer for someone else to redo it. They still charged me full price for a pedicure that wasn't even done at all. I left the nail salon unhappy. I still paid and did not make a scene as I felt bad for the lady doing my pedicure. Literally the worst gel manicure I've ever received!! Now I've been going to the same nail tech since I was a child when she would paint little flowers my nails. Unfortunately, she no longer works at that salon so I decided to go here because of the reviews. FIRST, the tech didn't want to shape my nails into a coffin shape because they were "too short" and she said they will break and wont look good. I get coffin shape every damn time I get my nails done no matter how short they are and I know what looks good on me hunty i wouldn't grow my nails out for a square shape. SECOND, I told her my thumb nail was chipping and all she did was file it. No nail glue or powder to support the chip (something my old nail tech would've done). THIRD, my index nail chipped ONLY 2 DAYS after getting them done!! And now they look like this and it's only been one week. Keep in mind she put 4 coats on my nail so their product must be cheap. So if you want to spend $30 on a subpar gel manicure that will chip off in a week go ahead! I'm so upset my nails usually last me a month now I gotta find a new place to do them again. read more

I really wanted to like this salon. The nail tech that I had was really nice and their gel options were amazing but this place sadly uses MMA, and it severely damaged my nails. MMA is an acrylic powder that is dangerous and illegal to use on nails, but salons use it to cut corners because it's cheap. MMA can ruin your real nails and if applied badly can lead to infected nail beds. When I started taking my acrylics off I could smell it, and I started to get worried. Then when I soaked them a telling sign that it is MMA is if it soaks off gooey, which mine did. In an attempt to take them off a safe as possible, it took 3 hours to take off one hand and my nails are extremely damaged. While their options are great and their nail techs are sweet, the risk of MMA is not worth it. read more

I got the "royal pedicure" and I felt so relaxed afterwards. My fingernails are really short and not in the best of shape, but I still liked how they looked afterwards. There sign said it $32 for a fill but I was charge $5 extra for the shape, first off I wasn't told it would be extra and second of all, it was already and almond shape to begin with so it not like I went from a whole new shape. So when I asked where the $3 extra dollars came from he said because I wanted them shorter it was more work!? And on top of that I have a cut in my finger. Sorry but I had to update my review. I've been with Kevin for a couple years now and I'm sad to say I'll never come back. He is awesome with nails and is very talented. However, I missed an appt due to work and I was unable to call or text him to tell him I was coming at that time. He ended up texting me saying I missed my appt. I replied later on that I was aware. He really didn't need to do that. I'm an adult and I'm well aware that I missed it and had intentions on texting him once I left work. He then starts asking my friends, who I referred, why I'm not going there anymore. This isn't the 1st time they made me feel horrible. I've had to reschedule many appts and you hear it in their voice when they're annoyed. Not everyone has a traditional work life. Hospice is very unpredictable. He's also gotten very pricey. I get quality nails now and don't pay what he charges. read more
