I really, really wanted to like this place and the manicurist was super nice, but my french tip gel mani was so sloppily done that I had to go elsewhere to get it corrected. There were remnants of my old color in places as well as bubbles and patches. Also, the French tip was done with the big, standard size nail brush so it looks really sloppy and uneven. I asked her to clean up 3 of the worst ones but when I saw the corrections were just as bad the originals, I gave up and resigned to getting it fixed elsewhere. read more

I was recommended to have Ke do my nails. I was excited to have a pedicure and manicure since I haven't had one in months because of Shelter-In-Place. Well, I am really really disappointed in my pedicure and manicure. First, she cut a chunk of my skin on my big toe which hurts very bad and I can't wear a closed shoe(pic included). I didn't realize how bad it was until the next day when it was so sore. You can see where it was bleeding in the corner. Secondly, she did not scrub my feet well. I still have so much extra dry skin. I do understand that a nail tech can't take every little thing off but I have been getting my nails and feet done for over 20 years, and they have never came out like this. I'm being honest. Pic included. Thirdly, the polish was done super poorly. Her polish was very thin and looked cheap. Not sure if it was or not. But it literally bubbled up when it dried. My manicure was ok but she filed my nails crooked and not oval like I asked. I definitely did not get what I paid for. A family member had her services as well and was very disappointed. She even brought a broken machine with her and couldn't do the proper services that was asked, which was a gel manicure. I never make negative reviews and I was really counting on her to be good. But, unfortunately it just wasn't. And I would have had her try to correct it but I knew it wouldn't have made any difference. I paid a lot for these services and I'm unsatisfied. Ke is such a delight to talk to, but my finished manicure was poorly done. The polish looks streaky even after three coats, and was sloppily applied at the cuticle. They use a "quick dry" top coat rather than fans - no option to use a fan - which messed up one of my nails within an hour. Also, when I first called and asked how much just a nail color change was, the lady was very confused as to what a "color change" was and snarkily told me to look at their website, which outlines their services. I had one of the best waxing experience at Nailphoria. From the moment I walked in the staff greeted me by name. They were very friendly and personable. My wax esthetician, Megan was flawless. I appreciated that she asked me which type of wax I preferred and even did a skin test on herself before she placed the wax on my skin. I'll start by saying Ke is super nice - so the 3 stars. With that said, it's a random spot and you put your feet in a bucket of hot water, not like a normal pedicure chair. The basic price is $20, but I'm not too happy that for an extra 15$ she "scrubbed" my feet for about 2 minutes extra than she did my friends, so my total was $35. I'm all for supporting the local businesses, but I work hard for my money so I when I spend it to pamper myself, I'd like to get bang for my buck. read more

Really friendly and attentive and I wanted to give them a good review however my day old pedicure is already chipping. Also you could see my old polish peeking out from the corner of one of the nails. The massage and scrub on the basic pedicure was a nice touch but paying $30 for a basic pedi and still dirty heels is not fun. Don't know if I'd return :( read more

I went here on a whim, trying to find a place last minute and am soo glad I stumbled across this place on yelp. You can book online, they have a clean and inviting space, lots of colors to choose from, and most importantly, the coolest owner ever. Ke is so friendly, nice, and just cool. Way cooler than my friends. Which is good because I talked her ear off for an hour and felt like I've known her for years. Had a LOVELY mani pedi with Ki (spelling? Apologies!). Very thorough, gentle, beautiful shaping and color. Loved the soak and scrub for my toes. Hands and feet are softest ever! As a caregiver for a 94- yr age woman, I'm often looking for in-home services. Therefore, I posted need for a manicurist/pedicurist and Ke replied. Though seemingly initially pleasant, she came w/out nail polish, stained the "work" table I supplied and clipped nails in the kitchen which obviously were on the floor, and although she offered to get the (nail clippings) up, I found it quite unsanitary! I paid and tipped her, yet afterwards contacted her regarding my concern(s).Unfortunately, she didn't use best biz practice of acknowledging my concerns, but made several excuses! As a media personality, I will NEVER seek or recommend her service(s).Obviously she doesn't realize the adage "it takes two mins. to get a customer an two seconds to lose them." I went into this shop today wanting to get my eyebrows waxed. I was so glad I did! Normally, I'm tense and my eyes water when I get waxed (yeah, I'm a baby) but I hardly felt the lady working on me. I had high hopes for this establishment however I was sadly let down. I had the worst mani & pedi!! The woman who did my manicure was SUPER slow and dripping sweat the whole time. And my pedicure consisted of dipping my feet in water, drying, filing and polish! Never again I knew I should have went across the street to get my nails done! Lesson learned! read more
