The new owner is wonderful! I have followed Mai for over 10 years.

I didn't like their customer service or the way they just finish task. All they want is tip for even a bad service.

Mai, Lily, and Helen are professional women that know what they are doing. I have be going to nail salons for over 35 years and find them to excel in all. Pedicures are marvelous and nails are done the best I have had. Gel is my preference and the other thing that I have seen done is nail art. So, my nails look great & it'll be a month this week! I've never had as many compliments nor have my nails ever lasted for 1 whole month!!!

I came here a week or so ago to get a shellac manicure done, and I'm honestly not impressed. First, they didn't have the color that I wanted, and then the manicurist, who was a very nice older lady, took forever just to prep my nails for the shellac coat! After she put on the polish, I noticed that it was uneven and streaky- there were even bubbles on my nails! The only okay-ish thing was the price- $28- she gave me two bucks off. I probably won't go back since I can get a way better and longer lasting shellac manicure for the same price elsewhere. read more

probably the best gel manicure i have ever gotten. the technician was incredibly thorough, she even went back and fixed any little bubbles that popped up during the cure time which left my finger nails looking absolutely perfect. the pedicure was good, not great, but the gel mani is definitely worth going back for. read more

I have been going to Mai for about 25 yrs. I have followed her from shop to shop until she bought this shop last year. It's a very cute little shop with very good manicurists . They make you feel like family and treat you better. My nails always look good, and the pedicures are wonderful. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

This place had changed management and Nick is no longer the owner. The owner refused to honor my $25 gift certificate my son had bought from Nick. What horrible customer service. Their hygiene is horrible. They don't wash their hands before working on you. I am a healthcare professional so I also watched how they cleaned the foot spas. They are not disinfecting it properly!! They only use liquid detergent which does not kill everything and is against regulations. I will not be coming back again. read more

Great prices - $10 for manicure and $15 for pedicure which includes the foot scrub. The staff is nice and friendly. I even got a 10 minute massage. I garden, have a dog and have a job involving my hands and my nails are still perfect after 2 weeks. read more

Yes, of course cheap pricing, also one of the cheapest customer services possible. Nick does not care for customers and does not treat us as customers. Downright rude, insensitive and careless. Though I could recommend the service, attitude is 0. I'd never set foot again. read more

Sign says walk ins welcome... but I think they want you to make an appointment. Went there at 4:30, the guy did a very rushed pedicure almost pulled off my cuticle! Did not apologize. Bad customer service. I would rather pay a few dollars more for better service. read more

When Willow Glen Nails closed on San Jose Ca I didn't know what to, I tried going back to place in Campbell Ca, they were terrible, dirty and was just not satisfied , then I tried going to new salon that that oped up in San Jose and had to go back 3 times to fix a nail that broke the very next day. I found out how close Nails 2000 was and so very glad to be going back to the 3 women who knows what they are doing! Also I like having nail art done and Mai is the best at it! Anyone out there looking for a trustworthy and knowledgable place, Nails 2000 is the place to go! read more

What a horrible experience! Had a gift certificate showed the girl before we started. I'm half way through my pedicure and two more works show up. One I find out is the new owner. She looks at the gift certificate and says no good. What do you you mean? It was purchased from previous owner will not honor. What? It's the same name same phone number how is a customer to know. Left with wet feet. Rude not customer friendly lots of other great nail salons to use in Cupertino. Pinkies for one. read more

Nails 2000 is one of the best nails store in Cupertino. They do very good job with pedicure and manicure. The Price for French manicure and pedicure is so cheap, only $ 25 and no extra charge for French tips. Nails 2000 just remodel, look clean and very nice. I've been coming here for years and have noticed a deterioration of the quality of service and product. On my most recent visit I was having some facial waxing and the owner (Nick?) was very rough and forceful, kind of abusive really. He dropped hot wax onto my upper and lower lip and pulled the strip very ubruptly. When I confronted him about this, he didn't even ackknowledge what had happened. When I told him that I was hurt, he simply ignored it. Almost 2 days later my lips are still sore and a little blistered. My manicure experience was very rushed and they barely cleaned up my cuticles. The nail polish was chipped almost immediately after. Seems like the nail polish is low quality. The overall treatment is bad. They do not greet you, and they do not treat you delicately. When they want you to turn your head, they simply push you. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. It's cheap and still not worth it. read more

This is the first time I've ever taken the time to write a review and it's only because this place deserves it! I always go to salons of this price range and this one treated me so well and hospitably, that I can't believe I get so much for a $25 mani-pedi. The owner made everything so easy for me - from opening the arms of the chair, to turning on the massager, to giving me a magazine, to bringing me a (free) bottle of (Dasani) water, to asking if I wanted to watch TV - yes, all that for $25!! And he did a great job with my nails and in good time including heated wraps on the my feet and hands. Amazing! What more can I ask for at this price? And the place is clean and the owner is sooo nice. He was even nice enough to tell me the color I picked is too light to show up and helped me pick something more suited for me...and he turned out to be good at that too! I'd give this place more than 5 stars if I could. read more

Hi! I'm 13 years old, and me and my friends were looking for a place to get a pedicure. We had to drive to 3 salons until we ended up at Nails 2000. The other 2 we went to said that it was $35 for the cheapest ones! At Nails 2000, a pedicure was only $18, and a manicure only $10! I was so pleased, especially because as soon as I walked in, the sweetest little dog came to greet me! The ladies who worked there were the nicest ones I've ever met at a nail salon, and I still haven't gotten to the pedicure part! They have wonderful massage chairs, and they hand you the remote so you can adjust it yourself! They do a great job in general with the pedicure, with a nice sea salt scrub, and then carefully attend to your nails, taking off the cuticles, adding a strengthening coat on to your nails before painting, and cleaning and trimming them. They do a very good job with the polish, painting on more than on coat, fixing smudged ones, and then you go over to the dryers and dry them for awhile, where you can read magazines, watch the news, or get entertainer by their little dog! Overall, I am very thrilled with this place and definitely recommend it to adults and kids! read more
