Bobo is the most creative and sweetest person ever! She puts in a lot of time and effort to make sure your nails come out the way you like. I'm always blown away the results. I typically don't get my nails done often because I have a terrible bad habit of picking at my nails. The gel I get at other salons lasts about a most a week while Bobo's lasts over a month! Bobo is the best. I highly recommend!
If I can give Bobo 10 stars, I definitely will! She really is the best nail artist! This review is long overdue but I've been a client of Bobo's for quite some time and every single time I'm impressed by her work! I usually pick styles that's are somewhat complicated with multiple colors and embellishments, so each session take some time, but Bobo has never rush through them, always paid attention to details and she is so patient! Attached are Bobo's work, the nail art speaks for itself. The quality of gel she uses is very high quality too, does not chip. Her salon is very clean and she takes great precautions for the current covid situation which makes me feel at ease whenever I get my nails done. Bobo is always super friendly and easy to chat with! Always feel like visiting a friend when I get my nails done and she will play whatever Netflix show you want to watch, plus the best milk tea place is next to her studio, so you can watch Netflix, enjoy some milk tea and get your nails done, the best combo! If you are into Japanese/Korean nail art, you have definitely found the right place! Highly recommended!
Bobo is an exceptional nail artist who I have seen for over 5 years. She overachieves in her efforts to create every nail design I request. Her studio is well equipped with colors and supplies to provide many different effects. Bobo is an academically trained artist and takes her time and meticulous effort to please her clients. For these reasons her schedule is always full. I always appreciate her passion for her craft, warmth and professionalism.
Bobo is an artist and she uses very modern equipment that feels less tough on the nails (especially, equipment to remove gel nails). While most other salons I've been to use a combination of nail polish remover, aluminum foil and other manual tools, Bobo's is a small electric-powered tool that is relatively quiet. I think she brings most of her equipment from Japan, and she was trained there. While getting your nails done, if you want, she'll also turn on Netflix so you can watch your show. I believe she only takes one customer at a time, which I've really come to appreciate since 2020. She puts a lot of care in her work, so it's probably a good idea to expect to spend an hour or so while you're there! Also, POP Nail is one of the few places that has an online appointment system, so that is pretty convenient (you will need to add a credit card for deposit, which will be charged if an appointment is a no-show or cancelled with less than 24hour notice. I think that's fair) As for how long gel nails by Bobo lasts... Mine went for a full 3 weeks before any started coming off (usually in the shower, because my hair would get caught in between the gel and my nails). I'm one to cook and use my hands a lot, so that speaks to the durability of her work. I'll be back soon!
I have been with Bobo for almost 5 years now. She always listens to whatever you want and follows that. She does amazing and careful work while also using top of the line materials. One of the most professional nail techs I've ever been with. Thank you Bobo for making me feel confident and pretty in my nails!
Bobo is so friendly and offers the best customer service every time. She's very detailed oriented and patient, she did a fantastic job with my nails. And Bobo has remained consistent in her cleaning and social distancing of customers. The studio has protective barriers and equipments which makes me feel safe all the time during the mani service. I would definitely recommend Pop Nail Club, cuz I am always satisfied with the experience and it's worth your money. Thank you Bobo.

Every time I go to Bobo, I have sort of? kind of? maybe an idea? of what I want and every time she is able to transform them into something magical and beautiful! She helps me figure out what is possible and also takes my ideas and propels them a step further beyond what I could even imagine! She is super patient and takes great care into putting together each masterpiece. If there is even one thing wrong, she makes sure that it is perfect! She is super dedicated to her craft and I love love LOVE it. I almost wish I had more fingers so that we could do more fun nail designs! Thank you Bobo for always making my nails into a work of art! I've been coming to Bobo for my nails for about 1.5 years now, and I have only positive things to say about her. She's sweet, organized, punctual, dedicated, takes her time to make sure my nails are always 10000% perfect to what I want. She truly is a perfectionist, and an artist who loves her craft. Bobo was very meticulous when doing my nails! I used a photo for reference for these nails and I love how they turned out. I also liked that she put on netflix kdramas so I could watch while she worked. It was my first time ever getting nails done and I'll definitely come back in the future!

I've been going to Bobo for the last 2 years and WOW she always delivers exactly what I want! She's soooo good at nail art, I'm baffled every time I go to her and I walk out with such beautiful designs. She kills it every time! I watch the best Netflix shows and love the privacy I get with the small studio vibe. 10/10 can't recommend Bobo enough and I'll always be back! read more
Absolute five stars for Bobo and her business. She is so creative and elevates all of your suggestions for any nail design. I loved my wedding nails and am so glad I came here to get them done. They have stayed absolutely put and have not done the weird corner lifting thing that gel nails often do. She also lets you watch Netflix while she does your nails, which also helps pass the time! I had a very weird splinter in finger situation, and Bobo went above and beyond in making sure I was okay and leaving one nail out so I could go see a doctor. Will 1000% be returning! read more

This was my first time getting Japanese style nails! I chose the gradient color. Bobo's shop is very clean. She is super careful and sanitize multiple times throughout my visit. Bobo also takes her time. Her work is amazing! I got both manicure and pedicure with her. read more

Wow if I could give Bobo six stars, I would. I've been searching for a long time for a nail artist this talented. Bobo has a background in graphic design and it shows. She is really nice, and easy to work with, and she was able to make a great design for me in gel based on colors I liked and a general style I wanted. I have been coming to Bobo for over 2 years now. I first started because I wanted to have nice, neat nails for my wedding, but now I'm hooked on the way Bobo makes my nails look and feel. Bobo is the absolute kindest and accommodating person, and I always feel so relaxed when I leave. I am also very conscious of cleanliness and Bobo is the most hygienic nail tech I've been to, always sanitizing the instruments. If you're looking for Asian (Japanese korean) style nails definitely come here! It was really easy to make an appointment - I messaged Bobo for quotes on designs I found on Instagram through yelp and set up an appointment the next day . I got nail extensions and nail art design and it took 3 hours. (I had cut my nails really short a couple days before and was really happy with how the extensions turned out - the shape is how I wanted it to be!) Her place is inside sola studios and when I went there was a lot of parking inside the parking lot (the parking lot was empty but I went during a holiday). She was super careful and gentle when doing my nails. didn't get cut and felt super comfortable. I don't like talking when getting anything done so I felt super relaxed with her just going on my phone while she did my nails . Her prices are also really reasonable considering the time she spends on the nails and is pretty competitive with other places that do Japanese nail art style nails in the Bay Area. It's been a week since I've gotten my nails done and they still look the same as when I first got it done - none of the jewels have fallen off. Definitely coming back for another set read more

such amazing customer service and their work is amazing! if you're looking for a cheap place however, this is not for you because it sure cost a pretty penny for this but this salon does douyin/asian nails perfectly and the owners are so nice!! i got the gel extensions plus the design. i got my nails done by sophia instead of bobo but the quality was still amazing. if you speak mandarin you'll have a great time chatting with them, but if not it's okay too because they also put on shows for you to watch. such a great experience overall! would def recommend if you want to treat yourself. read more

Bobo is a fantastic nail artist! I went to her at her previous location (Blink Nail Studio). I always come with a design inspiration and she helps me make it my own by helping me pick colors, gems, or accents/details that I like. I normally have her work on my natural nails but just today I had her put extensions on me. When I am debating a couple of colors we try them on so I can see what they actually look with my hand. Bobo is my go nail person so much so I didn't do my nails when she wasn't around. When I found her last year I was so happy because it meant I could get the nail style I liked even when I am not traveling to Korea. read more

Do you do hard gel extensions with foil?
We do nail extensions and we are able to do most of designs, such as hand painting, foil, chrome, charms, etc. The only thing we don’t use is acrylics/dipped powder.
Any appointment available today? I will also need dip removal.

Hi, everything will be cleaned and sterilized after each customer. I don’t offer any nail services to kids. I carry only Japanese gels. No Acrylics, no dipped powder and regular polish. Thank you.
