I explained to her that I was sad because I was getting them done because he had died of a brain tumor and it was a hard couple weeks working with hospice, helping my mother plan for the funeral, and the funeral tomorrow. I was sad and they were playing a sad musical on the TV. I asked if she could change it to cooking. She said " We are tired of cooking shows. She didn't change it. It was really making me sad the music was sad. I asked again she went to ask if she changed it but it seemed to bother her and the other employees. She did finally change it to a cooking channel, When I paid I added the tip up wrong and it was not 15 percent. She would not reschedule with me but she said "Sorry about your father." When I went to the car I realized I didn't tip her enough so I went back in and gave her more money to make it 15 percent tip. I apologize and said I was so sad I couldn't think straight. She said "Thank you" but refused to ever book with me again, I guess 15 percent tip is not good enough and I guess being sad for your father's funeral is to much work on her end. Don't go to this place and please go somewhere where you will be treated with respect. I would give them 0 stars if it was an option.

The vibe is relaxed, calming, and a nice break from a chaotic world. I am very low maintenance. I love my natural nails, short and generic. However, the middle finger on my right (dominant) hand breaks regularly. I garden, paint, etc. Usually, I superglue it until I remember to call them. Both Ann and Tim have suggested "acrylic" to me many times. I refuse. Again, I'm pretty "generic" and very "picky". They don't "push" or use high-handed upsell tactics. Yesterday, Tim said: Patty, let's do an acrylic on that one. Just try it out. He didn't even charge me for it!!! So he filed them really short (which is how I like them), and put acrylic on that one nail. It looks exactly like my natural nails. I am shocked (again, a snob about acrylics).
