My bestie had never been to this salon so we got there promptly for our 10am mani/pedi date and we never got seated in our pedicure massage chair until 1045. I was honestly so mad because if I knew they were running behind and was overbooked, we could've grabbed breakfast and not rushed. What was the point of making an appointment? There was another 2 ladies waiting for their 10am appointments too and we smiled and talked story but waiting that long was just ridiculous. We were not walk-ins. I love their salon so much so hopefully it was just an off day/morning but it turned me off. Then to add to it, they kept pressuring us to get gel nails. Im accustomed to having someone use an emery board/dremel then wrapping the finger in foil with an acetone-soaked cotton ball. She must have been in a hurry because she just used the dremel the whole time to try to remove my dip manicure. When she was removing the old manicure on my index finger, the friction of the dremel created enough heat to burn and I pulled my finger away and said "ouch, that's hot." She apologized, but this continued to happen to multiple nails. NOT COOL! To make matters worse, her use of the dremel created dents and uneven surfaces on my nails so when she put the polish on, it looked awful. She then blamed me for going to a salon that did not apply the polish correctly. While the salon was still quiet, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and everything seemed to be going smoothly. Unfortunately, once more customers started coming in, I noticed a significant change in the pace and quality of the service. It began to feel like our appointments were being rushed in order to accommodate the growing number of customers. The removal of our fake nails in particular became very rough and painful. I completely understand that salons get busy, but I don't think nail removal should be rushed to the point where it causes discomfort or pain. I also feel that the rushed pace affected the quality and attention to detail of my finished nails. I noticed small red marks that appeared to have transferred onto my nails during the service, and some areas of the nail art were not as clean or precise as I expected. After the small beads were glued onto my nails, a clear top coat was initially not going to be applied until it was brought up. I was also left with glue around my fingertips, which made the finished service feel incomplete. I understand that busy days can be stressful for both the staff and the salon, and I'm not writing this with the intention of being disrespectful or hurting the business. I just feel that the level of care shouldn't change depending on how busy the salon becomes. I would personally rather wait a little longer than have the service rushed. Every customer should receive the same level of care and attention whether the salon is quiet or completely full, especially when rushing can result in a painful experience or affect the quality of the finished work. I LOVE the foot and leg massage and the end product of nice, soft and as beautiful toes as my chonky legs and feet will show off. It doesn't help that I am post knee surgery in these pics either, so swollen on top of it but I am super pleased with the way my feet look and feel. The pricing seems fair to me also.

The color was darker than I was hoping to find but still a gorgeous shade of brown. The design was uneven and messy. It was a fairly simple design to test the waters. It did not pass.
