This place has really gone down hill since it's gotten so popular. Both of my favorite nail techs have left, so I decided to make an appointment with whoever was available. I called and said I could come any time on Friday and was told 11am would be good. When I got there, I waited until 11:15 to be seen. I wanted to try the dipping powder because gel tends to peel off my nails really easily, and I don't like to use the UV light too frequently. The nail tech started by buffing my natural nails with a drill, which I don't like. Then, someone came in for waxing and she got up and left for over 5 minutes to assist the other customer. I was just sitting there with one hand filed. She was very apologetic when she returned, so I didn't mind too much. Except, as she was painting the top coat on my nails, she was told by another tech that they needed her. She said "5 minutes" and rushed through my nails. My cuticles were not trimmed, I got no hand massage or paradox wax (which used to be standard), and I was never told to wash my hands. The worst part? They put a gel coating over the nails. Mine was done sloppily, and didn't cover my full nails. Within two days it was peeling off and after three days, the dip powder chipped off one of my nails. What a waste of time and money. read more

I booked an appointment with Andy after seeing the reviews here on Yelp. I was seen right away even when I called and told the salon I would be a little late for my appointment. I showed him a photo of what I wanted and showed him the shape I wanted and he killed it! He has very good attention to detail but doesn't take too long. I'm going to start this review of by saying the work of all the nail techs at this salon has been impeccable, hence the 2 stars . My appointment today that I made at 10:30 was actually for a Fill-in,for a full set I got done at this nail salon 2 weeks ago . So on to my appointment today I walked in , signed in on the clip board, got the usual how May I help you and I verbalized my appointment time and reason. I then sit down 5 minutes passed , 10, then once it got to 20. I figured I became invisible, I was not approached by anyone to inform me how long my wait would be , not given any color swatches , not even looked at. I understand they were busy but to have your presence dismissed and not to even be given a courteous we will be with you soon , made me feel uncomfortable and I left. Not sure if I will return due to this experience, I'm very big on respect and common courtesy and being as I give it to all I expect it back. read more

Terrible management! Disrespectful Manager. JULIE is the OWNER & MANAGER and pretends that she isn't because she lacks the skills to problem solve. This shop is very busy and needs a full time receptionist but Julie is too cheap to hire someone to take care of her customers in a more professional manner. They often don't answer the phones because Julie is busy doing nails and trying to manage the salon. Most of the people there are related and under Julie's cruel and unfair treatment. She snaps at workers and clients. She never wants to correct when something goes wrong. She refuses to make appointments when she busy telling you to call back later but then she doesn't answer the phone. I used to get a 9am appt. people would be lined up at the door waiting to be serviced And the entire team along with Julie the manager are just setting up at 9am so it was always a bunch of confusion on a Saturday morning because Julie isn't professional enough to start a little early to prepare for the days. Further, Julie also talks about her clients in her native tongue assuming Americans don't understand what she's saying. She's ungrateful for the business the community brings her and expects a big top when she doesn't give good service. She often rushes and makes a ton of mistakes and refuses to give them. I've seen many people leave unhappy. Julie is a very dishonest business woman who has not one bit of integrity. She has chased some of the best technicians away sober her sweat shop mentality and meanness. She won't get another penny from me! read more

Came in with my daughter for a fast pedicure since we had a start time before practice. I saw some mix reviews so wanted to swing by and check it out from the positive ones. Seems like they are trying to update the building with things but I have never ever got my toes done a paper towel In between the toes to put color. Everywhere I have gone has came out with a fresh bag of tools to. Lean someone feet and they didn't have that. The water for the feet felt salty. And at the end to dry they have a wall fan to blow on your feet to freeze it and dry... most places charge $20 for a kids feet and they told me $20 on the phone but charge me $27 because of her height not she.. that's crazy . This place really needs to update their service and their supplies and what they're charging people for the price.. I understand times are tough but for $80 I want to feel like the place is nice. If I didn't need to cheer my daughter up today I would have walk out . My feet are still ice cold . They need to figure out a different system read more

My friends referred me to get my nails done at Nails Allure, and I'm so glad that I decided to try it out. I made a 5 pm appointment and waited about 15 min before being seated. While I was waiting, I picked out the nail color that I wanted. The salon is pretty small and they are very very busy, which is a sign that they are good right? It is a bit hidden, but it's across the shopping center from the Safeway and next to Urban BBQ. Andy was my nail technician and he was able to quickly remove my previous SNS dip powder nail color and replace it with a new color within the hour. He was very nice, and kept checking in to see if I liked how my nails looked. I'm very pleased with the nail color, service, and price. It was $40 to remove my old SNS and get a new one. P.S. If you pay with credit card and want to give the technician a cash tip, you can give it to them the tip directly rather than giving it to the front desk. read more

My go to techs so far have been Julie, Hannah, and Andy, all of whom do great work. Customer service isn't always the best, which I partially understand as they're ALWAYS busy (I've never seen less than 5 customers in there at any time, even for walk-ins). My best advice is always call and schedule your appointment in advance, unless it's something quick and easy like polish removal. And know what you want before you go in. It makes the whole process a lot easier on both parties and they will appreciate it. I am now a regular and come to get my nails done every 1-2 months. read more

I took my friend here on a Thursday evening to get her nails done for her engagement photos, so I decided to get a pedicure to pass time. Reservations were made the day before. COVID notes: Upon walking in, we were required to sign in with contact information (I assume for COVID contact tracing), and our temperature was taken. Afterwards, we had to walk to the back of the salon to wash our hands. My only qualm is the space to walk to the back.. there is none. So you have to side shuffle between the technician doing pedicures and between the manicure tables. There are shields in between you and the technician, as well as an empty seat between you and the next customer. Selection: a great variety of regular polish as well as gel, from what I've seen! Experience: My pedicure took less than 15 minutes. Please take this observation with a grain of salt. Great for if you're in a rush, but not great if you wanted to immerse yourself in a spa like pedicure treatment. Polish looks great, very clean and is still on even after half a week, I personally wanted to have a pampering moment.. All in all, an okay experience! I wouldn't mind coming back. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. I got a mani and pedi from the older lady at the salon. The mani looks decent but the pedicure is the worst I've ever had. Your nails are suppose to be smooth and shiny after getting your nails done but they were rough with bumps. I didn't notice until I got home because I didn't want to touch my nails after just getting them done and risk ruining them. I deciding to get my my eyebrows waxed there after this lady got hers done and it looked good. I told the staff person to clean it up and specifically told her I don't want them thin.
