Well I rounded up as I would actually rate them about 4.8. I got a manicure and a brow wax and a massage. The price is fantastic and the services are excellent. My massage was a quick neck and shoulder but the technique left me feeling like an hour long massage. All services were exceptional. I drive past about ten other places to come here. A few tiny points off for atmosphere. They could play some spa music and set a better tone but that is minor. And while I really appreciate the full sized bottled water I also love places that offer other beverages. Again a teeny tiny point. read more

Came here twice. DISCLAIMER: 1. I TIP VERY WELL. 2. I DO NOT WORK WITH MY HANDS. Both times my nails did not last. This place charged me $140, 1ST visit and I lost two nails 6 days later. (That is only the 1st visit.) Shop contacted me and said that if I give them another chance they would give me a discount... I degress.... I give them a second chance to this time be passed to the most inexperienced tech they must have had in the building. Tech messed up one hand nail shape and then asked to mess up the other hand to match?...ridiculous. Then this tech proceeded to rushed my entire experience and was short and had no conversation for me. Only his co worker next to him... "Is that good enough?" Was his favorite question...For it to be a second time and being promised better, to be honest I was over it. I also came with my own rhinestones and decorations for the tech to throw them on carelessly. Again, my nails did not last. My 1st set lasted 6days this second set last 2days before my nails chipped and my stones a decorations came off. I asked for ombre nails. Tech kept saying we will add ombre last. To then throw foils ect on then say the ombre was forgotten. Then he asked to add extra stickers ect, because now it's to late to do ombre.... Manager just offers a simple I'm sorry, and let us know if you give us another chance! Really? To do what? Not take note of my complaints and only offer a response because of online reviews?? Have me come back to your shop to only receive repeat subpar service for high quality prices? After be promised better? Guess they forgot? I definitely let them know when I arrived that they asked me to come back for a 2nd time. Fun fact: I traveled over 40minutes to pay a lot of money to be ignored and promised decent, not 5star but just decent service! As you can probably tell by the length of this review, I am also ecstatic about this too! This was my first time here, & I absolutely loved my experience. It was nice & clean. & The employees seemed to be very organized. Pham did a great job on my eyebrows. I was a little nervous as I'm used to 1 person doing my wax. However she made me very comfortable from the moment she asked, "how do you want them??" Lol! Just a note, the address in the Yelp listing is correct for Briarcliff Rd, but it's not in the Downtown area, it's in Toco Hills/Emory area... I live really close to this location and have been here more times than I can count. They have a HUGE selection of nail polish, which is great if you're into that kind of thing. I've never ever had to wait to get a mani/pedi, even when they're busy. I'm not sure where they get all the staff but I swear it's like they just keep coming out of the backroom somewhere. On to the service!... My mani/pedi always turns out fine. I always manage to ruin a manicure in less than a week and theirs holds up to that standard of mine. Their pedicure lasts until I have to get another one due to nail growth. Seriously, it's durable, ladies! This is also one of the few places I trust to wax my eyebrows. There is one lady there, Tammy, who does a great job waxing and then trimming my eyebrows and it's way cheaper than getting it done at the salon. I think the eyebrow wax is only $7. The service and overall hospitality here is incomparable. All of the staff are so friendly, treat customers so sweetly, and make sure I'm satisfied with my nails every time I visit. Walk-ins are welcome but I'd recommend calling ahead to schedule an appointment, especially if you plan on coming around 5-6ish (what I've seen is the busiest time), because wait times can be long without an appointment. I decided to give this salon another chance (I last came here in 2016) and I realized that there is now a new owner! I immediately recognized the change in staff and atmosphere that the old one didn't have. Now this salon is my go-to! Let me tell you I drive all the way from Grayson, GA to get my nails done here, even on days where I don't work (my job is at Emory). That alone should tell you how much I recommend this place. The workers really care for their customers and if you have children and you bring them, they sometimes offer them snacks while they wait. I have been here 4 times. The ladies are nice but the guy is very rude and overbearing. As a customer, no one wants to hear an employee go on and on about how little of the fee I'm being charged goes to him, he complained about how little they charge and how much experience he has, etc., etc. Seriously? Such a turn off! I must be a glutton for punishment because I went back the 4th time and wow, yes, he was assigned to do my nails. I pointed out a couple of things to him about my nails as he was doing them and he seemed pissed off and at the end he tells me, in broken English, that is the reason why no one wants to do my nails and they asked him to do them. Although this place has nice people.. They're skills aren't very good. I asked for a simple manicure with the new SNS powder/polish.. I had gotten it before at my regular place but I had gone to try this one for times sake. Immediately they make us wait over 30 mins just to even sit down and get started. I asked for a massage because I had a hurt shoulder and told them to go easy on it, but my lady was digging into my already hurt shoulder making it ache in pain. Then when she started doing my nails I asked for the oval regular shape, which she ends up making all pointy and scary looking, and during this whole process I was holding back tears because of her aggressive tactics for trimming and filing my nails (almost all of my fingers are bleeding.) I highly recommend going to a different nail salon if you are looking for a quick manicure (or any manicures at all) where you will be able to get a much better quality manicure, and for less money too. This place has left me lacerated and bawling my eyes out because of all the pain I endured during the process of just a simple manicure, and the fact that it was $40 for that whole situation astonishes me.. read more

I thought this was going to be a wonderful place. I have to say that I guess it is dependant on who you get to work on you. I have had manicures for over 15 years and never have I had one that bent my nails back beyond my nail bed - which hurt. Then she proceeded to do it to another nail as she was rushing through the procedures. It wasn't even busy. I had to stop the manicure all together. The pedicure was okay...Both girls were very persistent in up sales and didn't take no for an answer. I couldn't even understand the lady that was doing my pedicure and I kept questioning what she said so she took that as a yes I wanted a massage with my pedicure. My feet weren't bad but she didn't even try hard to get any excess skin off. It was all about money. It ended up $48 for this - and then I didn't pay the tip on my credit card- I tipped the pedicure cash... I already knew I wouldn't be back. Well I checked my online statement often and they changed the amount on my credit card. They gave themselves another tip! Beware people... changed the amount. I called my credit card company immediately. I will say it could have been a wonderful place due to the products - but not the service... it was ridicuolous. read more

I had a terrible experience there today. I was treated rudely throughout my visit, the prices weren't listed, I asked for a basic manicure and pedicure but I believe I was charged for the spa mani-pedi ($28) although it was hard to tell because of no prices listed. Worst of all, the technician cut the skin at the corner of my big toe with her first touch - it hurt so much I cried out in pain. Then she tried to minimize what had happened, and claimed I moved (not true until AFTER she stabbed me). The place was dirty, dirty, dirty. The polish I chose looked globby, as if it were old and dried up, but the other technician said it was new. But the second technician poured acetone into the bottle and shook it (obviously NOT new) in order to get it to be fluid enough to apply. The technician who worked on my hands did such a poor job that I had to pull out my own nail file and file EVERY nail after I left the salon - they were all rough and jagged. What a terrible experience. I will NEVER go back there. Anyone can make a mistake, but mistake after mistake on top of rudeness is not only an accident, it is a way of doing business, and should not be rewarded when there are so many other salons in the city. read more
