Horrible customer service. I was late only 5 minutes and the lady rushed through my no chip. Her next regular customer came in early and sat next to me and as she did my nails, she would talk to the other customer. She even stopped doing my nails then went to the other customer and then went back to me. The nails turned out fine but I was so irritated with her rudeness. This is hands down the best nail salon I have been to and I have tried my fair share! I was a regular at a nail salon in Arlington Heights but tried Nails and Spa Studio on a whim because it is in my boyfriend's neighborhood and I needed a manicure asap. I haven't been back to my old place since! Everyone that works there is extremely friendly and accommodating and they want to make sure that you have the best experience possible. I always get a no-chip manicure and a regular pedicure and have been happy with the results every time. (a no chip manicure and a regular pedicure is also $10 cheaper than my old place and has better results!!!) The hot stones that they use on your feet and legs during the pedicure would be an "extra" at other salons but that's just part of their regular pedicure service. I have to say they are the best nail place in that area. My nails the really did a great job with the acrylic and with the fact that she really needed to fix them from the last time I had them done. They have the best prices to and they also have coupons all the time as well. Everyone should try them out I can now see why people travel so far to get there nails done. read more

Best nail salon I've ever been to. I'm sad I just found out about it. $10 manicure and they put this stuff on in between the coats and it makes the manicure last 7-10 days. Small nail salon in a strip mall. Went in for a $30 mani/pedi before my vacation, and was so happy with the way it turned out. The guy there was so nice helping me pick out my color and 2 other manicurists gave me feedback. The guy also made recommendations which made it even cuter. Toes lasted 1.5 months and nails lasted ~10 days without chipping, which included days where I was doing intense cleaning at home and then through my vacation. The girl I had doing my nails was kinda a 'B' though. Not the friendliest person so I'm deducting a star, but she did an awesome job, I'll give her that. read more

Wow. Thought I'd try this place out for the first time. I arrived without an appt, but walked in and they only had two customers and no one waiting so I figured they would be able to accommodate a walk-in. Wrong. The woman said they were too busy and turned me away! Mind you, there are literally like 4 cars in this very large strip mall parking lot; there's practically nobody here! This is the very first time in my life I've ever been turned away at a nail salon. Not just asked to wait, but actually turned away. Well, hope they have fun making no money today. read more

The service provided is good for the cost. Ladies are fast and polite. However, the owner (the main girl) was rude to me and did a horrible job. I got gel nails done, and she was very sloppy applying it and put nail polish on very unevenly. People who saw my nails pointed it out to me right away, which is embarrassing, since i go to a salon and pay for the nail service, which should look good. If you have an option, pick any other girl, they are great. read more

I have been getting my nails (first acrylics and now no chips) and pedicures done here for years under different ownership. Since Linh purchased the business, she has turned it into a true salon and spa. I get the Nu pedicure every two weeks because it is such an affordable treat to myself. Everyone there is friendly and incredibly accommodating. I don't know why the lady from 12/29 says they no longer pamper you. Coffee and drinks are readily available for free and all you need to do is ask and they will clean your rings for you. I recommend making appointments because she has made such a success out of this place that most of the people are booked in advance. I actually live downtown Chicago part of the time, but I make sure to have my nails done here because they are so much better than any place I've tried in the city. For the people who complain, all you have to do is say something if there is a problem and they bend over backwards to fix it. read more

I cannot say enough about how strongly I recommend Nails & Spa Studio in BG! First of all, I have the worst nails ever...They are weak and I've never been able to grow them long. No chip was a little bit helpful, but it still never lasted as long on my nails as most people. I am so grateful to have discovered Dip Gel at Nails & Spa!!!!!!! It's a fast, easy, and painless nail color technique that does not require any type of UV light, is organic, and extremely easy to remove! I visited this establishment on Saturday August 27th, with a 2:15 appointment for a pedicure and manicure. The work done was acceptable. However, I have never been treated so rudely and disrespected. I worked in customer service for 22 years. This woman has no sense of what is involved in good customer service. Not one kind word from her, or respect for another human being. She was constantly on telephone, calling other customers. Obviously, this was not a relaxing, enjoyable visit. read more

I must say the first 2 times I went to Nails & Spa the experience was great I had a no chip manicure done, but then I went back a 3rd and 4th time and both times my nails chipped, and the manicurist over filed my nails making them paper thin and eventually my nails chipped and i could bend nails, so needless to say I moved on. read more
