After this appointment, my skin was extremely red, inflamed, and looked like areas of skin had actually been lifted off. I'm still in a lot of pain. During the wax, it also did not seem like the hair growth pattern was being followed when the wax was applied and removed, which made the process feel much more painful than any wax I've had before. I understand that some redness and irritation can happen after waxing, but this is way beyond the normal irritation I've experienced in the past. I'm very upset that I'm now dealing with what appears to be a wax burn/skin lifting and significant pain after a service that I trusted would be performed safely.
