Called ahead to ask about an eyebrow wax and was told no appointment was needed and that I could walk in and be seen right away. I arrived about 10 minutes later, and they said it would be a 15-minute wait. After waiting nearly 40 minutes, I asked how much longer and was told it would be another 20 minutes because only one person could do eyebrow waxing. Horrible pedicure service, nails uneven, nails paid extra didn't scrub my feet, had to ask her to scrub. My toes were filed unevenly, when I asked them to fix it the manager looked at me like nothing was wrong. The nail polish was all over my skin and because the technician touched multiple of my toes with nail polish, the polish looked very bad. The manager offered me a free polish change but I still wound not go back. This place is great! I've gotten my nails done here twice and they've come out beautifully both times. This recent time, I went in with a broken nail and was helped out by Nikki. I really appreciated how she explained how often I should get fills vs starting fresh to keep my nail's integrity because I am new to getting my nails done. I came here on a whim because I really needed a pedicure. First, the parking lot is extremely small and is super packed and it's difficult to find parking. Once I finally found parking I walked into the salon and OMG!! It reeks!! Not a foul smell but a STRONG chemical smell from all the materials they are using. FYI they have NO WINDOWS or the front door open! Everything is CLOSED. Automatically I felt myself getting pretty light headed but I stuck it out since I went through the trouble of getting parking and coming 20 minutes out my way. Second thing is, I didn't like was there was no pricing on the walls, I looked everywhere and there was no sign. Once I sat in the chair, that's when they gave me the price list. I felt a bit rush to pick what I wanted and look at the prices and compare what is better for me. So I picked and they started on me. The pedicure came out nice and neat and it is what I asked for. I have no complaints there, they do a good job Will I be coming back here? No unfortunately, the smell is what really seals the deal for me since I felt extremely sick after on my way home. I strongly recommend using a mask or they at least provide a mask or open the door to have some ventilation. besides that, everyone was very nice and did a good job and helped me right away. I think they are banking on the location, rather than the services. They often send out %10 off this and that .. but the 10% never comes off. On a positive note, they do have many color choices! But if it chips.. what's the point? The checking in process is unnecessary and a little obnoxious. There are many things I like about Nails BB. The employees are nice. You have a membership under your phone number which makes check in and appointments a breeze. They send text messages about promotions they have going on. Not too many, which I appreciate. It's usually 10% off cash payment. The basic pedicure that I got the last two times was sub par. I decided to get the deluxe pedicure today which is $15 more than the basic. I did pay cash which brought my total to $40. My pedicurist was doing callus removal and scrubbing away at my feet. I don't have many calluses. She wasn't paying attention and started scrubbing off my skin! To make up for it, she gave me one minute more of a massage I don't know why, but I didn't say anything about my injury and I even tipped her $5. I like to chill out when getting my toes done. I wanted to support my local neighborhood salon, so I made an appointment a day in advance for three people. Two pedicures and one manicure/acrylics. I received a confirmation text after booking at reminder text the next day. I did my part by bringing my party and showing up on time. We checked in at 3pm and sat. At 3:20pm, one person started her acrylics and one person started his pedicure. I waited. At 3:45pm, no one had apologized, told me they were short staffed or acknowledged they were running late. It's only when I told them I was all set- I would not get my service that they told me they could start then. I decided that it didn't make sense to continue to get my pedicure, then the two other people in my party would have to wait for me as they would be finished shortly after I started. I've been coming to Nails BB for over a year and I usually have positive experiences here. However, this is the third time that one of the nail techs has gone digging for my big toe cuticle even after I've asked them to stop because it hurts. I understand wanting to clean the cuticle area, but if a client asks them not to this should be heard and understood. Usually I can establish this boundary with the nail tech if there's pain, but during this most recent visit, when I asked the gal not to dig for it after it hurt, she said okay, but then went at it again. I actually had to raise my voice and say "No, please stop!" until she got it. I knew she had gone too deep based on how much it hurt and was very upset for the rest of the pedicure. I get pedicures to relax not be in pain. She laughed and splashed some water on my toe as if that would fix it. My toe is very swollen at the cuticle line today and is very painful. I'm worried it could be infected and warrant a doctor visit. I think I'll be finding a new nail place after this. Disappointing. read more

Used to be a regular and love this place but they've just gone so far down hill it's hard to justify. Prices have raised while quality of services have lowered... pedicures are just awful here. Each nail tech uses their own supplies so it's a dice roll if you choose to try for a walk-in. Some techs around me seemed to use new or clean supplies but unfortunately the gentlemen doing my pedicure pulled out a clearly worn foot exfoliator that had loads of other people's dead skin on it...
