No sales pressure to get different things on you. And everytime, I've asked John to do a Pinterest inspired mani, he's right on point and I love that my manicures and Pedicures always get a great compliment! This place will not disappoint, just make sure to call ahead for an appointment though. Sophia usually does my pedicure and she has the most gentle hands and helps me with my ingrown nails always. Linda did so good with my pedicure. Loved the scrub and massage and Sophie did my fill and repaired my one broken cracked nail and my chipped nail. I thought I would need to get a tip to repair it but she did her magic with the hard gel and cured and shaped it without having to! She was able to tell me that I still had old acrylic underneath that wasn't drilled off before getting my new hard gel set. She explained why my nails were breaking and why they didn't feel as sturdy. She did a great job helping me out and starting me over from scratch. She was a little aggressive with the filing and I got a little cut on my pinky but overall she did amazing compared to what I had before. I love how my nails turned out and will definitely be back! When she finally helped me, the fix felt rushed and careless. She layered on a thick amount of gel, tapped it briefly with a file, and said "OK" without any real care or attention. This was my third time visiting, and unfortunately it will be my last. The lack of professionalism and basic customer service is disappointing. I expected better treatment, especially as a returning customer.

There was no one in sight, and the owner came out of nowhere pushing a pedicure when i only wanted a gel manicure and re-dip. I got my dip powder underneath re-dipped but in the process there was clumps of dried dip all over the underneath of my nails. She also ripped off a perfectly good dip layer previously applied and tried to rip off the other ones. I asked her to please don't do that, i just want a re-dip. I noticed that 3 of my nails were uneven with the powder and asked if she could reshape them. She kept speaking outside of english and laughing. I let it roll of the back cause that's neither here nor there. I asked for a french tip on milky white nails - SUPER SIMPLE - or so I thought, and i even showed two images of what i wanted. She proceeds to ignore the pictures and say "I know i know" ..ok. She didn't know because after 3 attempts she still couldn't get it. I told her i didn't want anything else to be done to the nails and for the color to be taken off. In between filing which she filed WAYYY too short, was cutting into my skin on every nail and rounded the nail edges when i asked her not to because i said to her "I don't like the edges rounded" I got ignored yet again while being laughed at again. I can only tolerate so much before i get disrespected when im paying for a service. Picked up my belongings and left. I will never step foot into this pathetic excuse of a nail salon again.

It consists of a tiny storefront, where you pop open the screen door and step into a minute space filled with a couple of waiting chairs, two manicure stations and a spa chair for pedicures in one corner. The place is owned by two sisters, only one of whom was there when I went in to get my pedicure. Everyone working there was very friendly and very casual, and you can tell that no emphasis is placed on high volume. This is a mom and pop nail salon (or sister and sister as the case may be) that seems to focus on regulars and regular experiences: nothing out of the ordinary. The pedicure I received was fine (even though it was in a spa chair that I wasn't sure was cleaned particularly well before me) and the girl who worked on my feet was expeditious and kind, friendly and well-trained. However, the massage was more of a simple application of lotion, and I didn't really get the sense that she had much interest in me -- it was more about just kind of getting the job at hand done, and less about creating any kind of atmosphere or experience. Granted, and I try to be gentle here, since it's obvious that the shop doesn't go out of its way to present a chic, upscale presence - it's very quaint, and downhome, and for some, that's exactly what you're looking for. Me? I really need some more cleanliness (or at least a more vigorous, obvious attempt at it,) and a little more of an intro and description of the services available. After she was done with the tools she used, she just stuck them in a jar of barbicide, and that's just not really cutting it for me. There was no discussion about what kind of pedicure I wanted, even though I could see there were some fun jars full of salty-type scrubs on-hand, and she didn't ask if I'd been there before or how I'd come across it: all questions I'd certainly ask if I was interested in building a relationship with a new customer in the hopes that they would return. I think "unremarkable" is really how I'd describe this place above all else. Not much to take with me other than my pedicured toes. I do have to say too that their lotion is something orangy smelling and super strong. It was sticky sweet smelling and made me kind of nauseated from the sugary smell in the car. She accepted two pedicures while I sat there waiting for her to finish my set, which resulted in her rushing through the process and applying my nails poorly - crooked nail, wrong sizes, nails not fully covered, in addition to lack of service. I wish I had said something in person or walked out, but I couldn't get myself to do it. I felt bad because while all this was happening, three girls walked in with an appointment and they had to wait until I was done (at least another 30 min). So to the person running this place, please do not say you can take an appointment when you clearly don't have the capacity.
