Pay and tip wherever you like -- but don't risk your safety here. Stay far away. A business that treats paying customers like criminals doesn't deserve customers at all. They claimed that we didn't make the appointment for powder with extensions, even though it was no problem for my friend who was under the exact same thing as me. I then had to wait for someone who knew how to do extensions which took some time. Everything was smooth sailing until the end while my nails were curing and she messed up the top coat twice, thankfully I wasn't in a rush but it added a lot of time. I was also cut twice and my finger did not stop bleeding for two hours. Another issue I had was I was charged $85, while my friend who, once again, got the exact same thing, was charged $75. There are plenty of better and cheaper nail salons in Boston and the surrounding area... I will not be going here again.

I called ahead and explained exactly what I needed, and I was told "sure, no problem." However, when I arrived, I was assigned to someone who spoke very limited English. This is not meant disrespectfully, but the communication barrier made it almost impossible to explain what I wanted done. She genuinely could not understand me, and I could not properly communicate the shape and style I was asking for. Unfortunately, I left extremely disappointed. The shape of my nails looks terrible, there are bubbles underneath the nails, and overall, the work was very poor -- especially considering I paid top dollar for the service. It honestly pains me to leave a negative review because I've come here before, and maybe this was just my experience, but good communication is essential in a service where clients are paying for something very specific. I believe there should at least be a basic ability to communicate back and forth so customers can clearly explain what they want and feel understood.
