Sadly, Superco and Ocean Star are both gone, but rising from the ashes is a bunch of fun stuff, like Smoking Tiger and this jumbo-sized nail salon next door, Magical Nails. Nothing too magical about it, but this busy salon has about 10,000 polish shades to choose from, and a printed menu with prices so you know what you're getting and how much it will be. All the salon chairs have the back massage function which kills two birds with one stone. Easy parking right in front, walk-ins welcome, and no waiting for your mani-pedi. I stuck my nose in to have a look, and was getting beautified just a few moments later. Minus one star for some unnecessary upselling, and a sour face from the greeter when I declined. But a free bottle of water cheered me up. Would I go back? Yes.

He started measure gel x tips and I had to remind him we were doing acrylic. He should have said that he cannot do acrylic because, he cannot do acrylic. It was some of the worst acrylic application I have ever seen in my life. Sloppy, lazy, trash. I should have got up after seeing his acrylic application on my first hand. That's my fault. When he was done filing I asked if he could even out the nails because they were lumpy. He proceeded to make the shape even worse and still lumpy. I asked if I should wash my hands after filing (every shop I have ever gone to in my life has told me to) and he said no. I should have stopped him here too. It took him an hour and a half just to put the acrylic on. At this point I realized he was either talentless or purposely messy my nails up. So I skipped the nail art I asked for and asked just for plain gel polish on top. At the end I told the lady at the front that I hated my nails and showed her and she understood and told me I could come back and have someone else fix them. Initially I accepted the offer but I have since canceled the appointment. I would rather die than trust this shop ever again. If I could give Jay 0 stars I would. Beware, this guy is horrible.

They paid close attention to my reference photos and always checked with me before making any adjustments to the polish or colors to ensure everything matched my vision. My daughter showed him the inspiration picture before he started, and the final result looked nothing like what she requested. The design was missing several major details, including the white sculpted accents, the flower, the gold embellishments, and the overall quality of the pattern. We came to an agreement were charged $80 for a set that didn't resemble the inspiration. What disappointed me even more was the customer service. When I politely asked if they could fix the nails, I was told they couldn't do anything because my daughter was a last-minute addition and that I would have to wait for my regular nail technician to return. If they weren't able to recreate the design, they should have been honest from the beginning instead of accepting the service and charging full price. As a loyal customer, I expected much better communication and customer service. This experience was extremely disappointing, and I hope management addresses both the quality of the work and how loyal customers are treated. that Kristy was gonna fix her nails. She also told me that before I came into the appointment that I needed to talk to the owner of the company so I was kind of surprised so I called the guy and he was saying oh cause you're still complaining and I don't know what so she doesn't wanna talk to you which is fine. I've had experiences at other salons where being on a time crunch affects the quality of the work, but that wasn't the case with her at all. She was attentive, detail-oriented, and somehow got everything looking so good without making the service feel rushed. I didn't catch the name of the technician who did my pedicure, but she did a good job as well. Everyone worked together to accommodate me, which I really appreciated. I'm already a regular here because of their great color selection, solid pricing, and amazing staff, but Sam especially deserves the recognition for this set. I booked with Trulycure when I was on a hiatus with my regular nail place. My appointment time came and the salon was still closed (I just want to note that my appointment time was 30 minutes after their opening time) and I was waiting outside, unsure if I should just leave or wait. I ended up messaging Trulycure for an update and didn't get an answer. A lady showed up about 5-10 minutes later to open the door, asked if I needed a pedicure and then to sit down on one of the chairs. Now the chairs were really nice, but did not have a built in spa. She had to bring over a tub of water. I wasn't asked which pedicure service I want (I later saw there were multiple options on their menu) and asked me what color I wanted. Andrew had walked in while I was getting my pedicure done. He worked on removing my old set of gelx that I got done elsewhere and put a new set (he did an excellent job at this). I opted for a cat eye effect on my nails since he mentioned there is a promotion at the time. I thought Trulycure is somewhere I want to go back to but after reflecting on my experience of waiting without any communication they were going to be tardy, pedicure gal cutting my toe nails oddly to the point where my big toe nail is growing out not the way I like and the cat eye not being a cat eye (looks like a layer of glitter polish applied), I was completely ready to go back to my usual place.
