My work requires I have short nails which was one of the biggest bummers given I've done long, design packed, nails my whole life, but, Annabella has completely changed that limiting reality for me when she showed me short nails can be just as great. The health of my natural nails goes without mention. Sometimes I can't even believe it myself. I look back and thank god that I have to transition out of long nails because they were DESTROYING the integrity of my naturals. My nail beds have grown significantly and overall, it's a lot less maintenance to have short nails. I've attached photos of some of my favorites she's done for me and now I'm itching for a new set (though I love my current). 10/10 recommend Annabella. She is so thorough, trustworthy, talented, and sanitary.

My fingers were in pain, and it felt like the nails were lifting or separating. I called the next day and spoke with Samantha to explain the issue. I asked if I could come in to have two nails fixed and the set filed down because they were unusually thick (I've had Gel-X many times before and never experienced this). She told me to come in, but when I arrived, she dismissed my concerns and said it was "just the glue settling" and that nothing was wrong. Despite clearly seeing how thick the nails were, she didn't offer to fix them. By the very next day, the nails started coming off. I called again and asked for the set to be redone since the issue was clearly due to the application, but they refused. This is unacceptable, Gel-X sets typically last me at least 3-4 weeks, not just a few days. I ended up going to another salon to have them redone, and even that technician commented on how poorly the original set had been done. Overall, this salon showed no accountability and no respect for my time or money. I would not return.

I waited in my car until 11:15 and when I went in I still had to wait another 10 minutes to be seen. They had a basket of mini candy bars and chips next to the seats where you wait. Once seated in the pedicure chair, I was offered a "complimentary" beverage (water, coffee, tea, wine or champagne) which I declined. I was also presented with a pedicure menu. They have different types of pedicures ranging from $35-$85 and gel is an additional $20. The prices may be a little higher than other salons because of all the free/complimentary items they offer. My nail tech Steven was professional and thorough but the pedicure area itself was pretty loud and not relaxing at all. They don't take tips on credit cards so be prepared to pay the tip with cash, Venmo, Cash App or Zelle.

My first few visits were positive, which is why I'm giving three stars rather than fewer. Each visit, I had a different technician. I typically get polygel with a design, and the results were generally solid until my third visit on 1/3/26. After calling about 45 minutes ahead, I was seen, but while the design was nice, the base of the polygel set was poorly done (the tech was also rushing for an upcoming appointment after me). One nail had a visible hole in the product, which was patched rather than properly smoothed and reinforced. Less than a week later, another nail cracked across the middle. On 1/11/26, I called to ask about availability for a repair and was told to come in. After checking in, I waited about 30 minutes before being told it would be another hour. During that time, I overheard a technician grouchily tell the front desk, "Just tell her to come back another time," while I was standing nearby. That felt extremely rude and unprofessional, especially given that I had called ahead, was told to come in, and received a confirmation text. I explained that if there was no availability, I should have been told upfront. I had driven 35 minutes from Baltimore and could not wait longer due to a flight back to the Midwest. I really liked this salon, but the combination of subpar workmanship on my last set, being turned away after calling ahead, and the dismissive behavior makes it hard for me to return. Please be honest about availability so clients don't waste their time. The cracked nail eventually split completely and injured the skin beneath my nail bed. By 3 weeks, my nails looked horrible, but I figured it might have been a fluke & tried them again. They're not breaking this time, but the girl took 2 hours to do it and the white tip on the edge started coming off the next day & the gel is chipping. They're also uneven and no matter how short I asked for or how small I wanted the white tip, it didn't seem to matter to her. She did what she wanted. I don't recommend this place at all.
