Regular pedicure was $23 and a gel manicure was $25. I was expecting to pay $35 for the gel manicure, which I was quoted over the phone. They had a lot of colors to choose from, including gels. I found my shades of pink perfectly. The lady who did my nails didn't carry any conversation with me, but I was totally fine with that. I wasn't really in the mood to talk anyway. Nails For You Review Shouldn't get a star at all; because the workers there are rude and LIE about how long the wait is. Everytime a new customer came in they told them it'll be a 30 minute wait. I waited about an hour before getting taken care of. My sister usually comes here all the time but I think after this time, bringing me (I'm came to visit), she won't. I went in for a simple Mani and I specifically told the girl who was "taking care" of me that I wanted acrylic, which was 25$. I wasn't fixing to spend 50$ but I did, which upsets me, because I did. When asked why how I could have possibly been charged so much for an acrylic nail set, they said, I used gel nail polish which costs an extra 15$. Now, let me tell you something, in Hawai'i, where I am usually from, we are not charged FIFTEEN DOLLARS for some gah'damn gel nail polish. Anyhow, although, I feel like the lady who did my nails was fairly well; I feel it was extremely unprofessional to use SCISSORS to cut the fake nails rather than ACTUAL/PROPER nail cutters. Not to mention half way doing my nails, her lamp on her desk fell on me and when she tried to prop it back up; I saw that it was held up by a folded napkin. They duck taped the end of the lamp to stick it into the hole of the desk then propped it up to be held up by using the folded napkin. My sister was just getting a fill, which is only 15$, but she too was charged double that price. She was also told that it was because of the use of gel nail polish and you'd think they make note on the polishes that they're gel. if you ever go be careful of what you get ESPECIALLY BEFORE and WHILE they are doing your nails. I went to this shop for nail work with my boyfriend. He needed a haircut, and we found there was a hairstylist at the same venue. My boyfriend usually was very picky about who did his hair. That day, he was very pleasantly surprised with the hair cut and other services he got there from the stylist - Sharon, who was a modern attractive Chinese lady. Since my boyfriend's haircut was so great that I decided to give it a try. It turned out that I had my hair cut, color, and highlight there all by her. We spent almost 4 hours there, but it was well worthy it. Basically, the price was right, the services were exceptional, and most importantly, her work made us look fabulous as a couple. This weekend I was in Vegas on a business trip and needed to get my claws manicured before meeting anyone. Thank you for yelp and the reviewers because they led me to this place. 1st, I had a month-plus old gel manicure that had to be removed. Sammy, the owner, took time to gently remove the gel polish without scraping off the top layer of my nails. She picked out a polish for me based on the color I wanted that was not only vegan, it also wouldn't discolor my nails. Love that! Sammy passed me onto to Lisa to finish the manicure and polish my nails. She was very gentle on my sensitive cuticles and did a fantastic job on the polish. Four days later and the polish still looks good. The prices are very reasonable. For an awesome $12 quality manicure with great customer service, I'd go back every couple weeks if they were in the San Fernando Valley in Cali. Well worth it! read more

This is a worse nail salon ever. The lady cut my toe and and pretended that she did not cut it after I told her that she cut my toe. She insisted that she did not cut my toe until I show her the cut. She did not apologize for doing so. I was so angry when I leave the door and I am considering complaint about the business to Health department cause cutting someones skin was a serious health issue. So those who actually had a cut during the pedicure process, we should all get together and complaint about the shop with the health department. If you are interested, email valenf2002@yahoo.com. I didnt make an appointment for my mani and pedi so I had to wait about 20 mins but I was greeted when I walked in. Hong is the lady that helped me today and she was great! This salon is inexpensive which is a plus. The only thing I didnt like is all the talking amongst the workers in their foreign language.
