I've come to this place for years & everyone has been very friendly & I've been happy with each of the girls. But this visit was not good for me, this girl made me feel like I was a problem, she made me uncomfortable, she seemed to scold me or lecture me each time I moved or didn't have my hand right or my arm right where she wanted it, tugging on me. I asked her to file one nail after & she even made an excuse & blamed me for why it needed to be filed! I'm very easy & not picky at all when I come in there. This has been my consistent nail salon since I moved to Dallas 3 years ago. I waited a while to give them a rating because I wanting to see if things would change. I usually go every 3 weeks for the dip nails and a pedicure and I'm so confident in all the ladies skills that I don't have to special request a specific person. Of all the times I have gone there I only had an issue once and it was with the top coat they used and they made sure to correct it on my next visit when I mentioned it to them. Oh did I almost forget they also have complimentary wine and soft drinks while you are being serviced! Literally just walked out. The only reason it gets a 3 because the woman who did my pedicure was very sweet and did a great job! The lady who did my nails was terrible. I started to ask her to make sure the nexgen polish went to my cuticle because when it's not done properly I will look as if I need a fill immediately. Some of my nails already look like I need a fill. It's as if she got an attitude because i spoke up about it. You can still see my previous polish in the crevices SMH. But I got my nails done 5 days ago and 4 of them have already popped off without doing anything that could cause that to happen. I felt like I was treated as if I wasn't going to tip enough when I've worked in the service industry for over 13 years and I would never tip less than 20% just for their time. I told the technician multiple times that the coat on my toes was not even so she could correct it. she acted like she couldn't understand and actually called someone over to interpret. I explained the same information to him to have her to fix it, and she proceeded to ignore me as I told her that she was not doing it, correct. as I went to check out, the receptionist was going to charge me for an inadequate service even as I showed him photo evidence of her doing my feet incorrectly. I kind of hate to share my secret, because this is the best of Plano. This place is always awesome. Everyone there is talented- I usually walk in so I take whoever is available and I've never been disappointed. They have tons of Nexgen and gel colors and this is one of the best pedicures you can get anywhere in Dallas. If you like Nexgen, this is the place to go. They don't make it super thick and yet it easily lasts for 3 weeks, or until it's grown off. I once went a month before filling with no chips or breaks. Best natural looking nexgen ever! The staff is always really nice and accommodating. They always remember me (everyone!) and ask how my baby is. It's so nice to find a nail salon that does quality work with such a friendly atmosphere. Don't come here if you aren't going to be a good customer and be nice to the staff. If I could give this place less than one star I would. I only make Yelp reviews if I feel a strong need, which is almost never. First of all, I was only here because I was in a bit of a hurry and my regular nail salon had too long of a wait. I called ahead of time and walked in and immediately let them know that I was in a bit of a rush. This typically isn't an issue at any other salon I've ever been in. I wanted dip on my hands and a regular pedicure. They sat me down almost immediately and the woman started on my hands at 5:07. At 5:40 she was still filing and shaping my one hand and had not even touched the other. And no one had even walked over to start me pedicure which should be started at the same time. I asked her when they would be started on my feet and she said she did not know, she was only told to do my nails. When she asked me what shape I wanted I told her "almond" and she proceeded to do her version of almond. I asked her if she always did one hand at a time and she just kept filing and filing and told me that she needed to "make a foundation on my nail bed." Keep in mind that I came in with long nails that were my own. I also had no dip on my nails as I had removed them myself prior to the nail shop to save my nail tech time. Foundation? What does that even mean? My nails weren't horrible and she did not have to remove anything. Not even polish. Even if she needed to make a foundation, filing for over 30 mins is not necessary. Not once did I complain verbally to my nail tech. But then she abruptly stopped and walked away for like the third time. She finally returned with two other women and said "I can not shape your nail so she is going to take over for me." Why would she have acted like she could do a shape if she couldn't? And why did she waste over a half an hour filing my nails on ONE hand and getting no where? I could feel my blood start to boil. The lady that took over apologized multiple times and simultaneously another tech finally started on my feet. By this time it was past 6pm and passed the time I had planned to leave. I appreciate that the tech who took over on my hands was trying to make it right, but she did my nails horribly. They are all different kinds of shapes and angles. None of them match each other at all. Some of them are pointy-is, some are rounded, some are crooked. I wouldn't have even had time to stay and get them fixed even if I wanted to. This was the first time I have not tipped at a nail salon and they did not offer to discount anything for me. During this process, a girl sat down next to me to get her hands and feet done as well. In the middle of her hands, the techs switched out on her too, and stated the same reason! (shaping). When my tech was finished she asked me if I liked them and I told her no. But I did not want to cause a scene. It just makes no sense to me why this even happened. It was a disaster from the beginning and I am so disappointed. I really had high hopes because it IS a nice looking place. You guys are truly going to laugh at the photos I attach. I have never had my nails look like this. No one in their right mind would think these look good. read more

I went to this salon based on a manicure referral. I was told to ask for Amy which luckily she was available. Amy was great. The manicure was flawless and I have no complaints with Amy. If I could review her separately I would give her 5 stars. Unfortunately the rest of my experience there was infuriating. I also received a pedicure and I didn't ask for any one in particular because again, my referral only suggested Amy for a manicure. The first lady they put on my pedicure jabbed me in the toes twice with the electric nail filing tool, both times I yelped in pain. She apologized but kept going. The third time, she grabbed my foot and apologized before I had a chance to even say anything. She finally asked someone else to take her place, I assume because she knew I was upset or I was going to ask for someone else. The 2nd lady was no better. She rushed thru the whole thing. There was no massage, no scrubbing of the dry skin, nothing. Basically she rubbed my leg with the scrub for about 5 seconds, no exaggeration, then rinsed them off. I got gel polish which she slathered on without any care. The polish came out spotty and the edges weren't even cleaned up. At that point I was so frustrated with the whole pedicure I just wanted to leave. I went to check out and the lady followed me to the register. There was another girl that checked me out but the pedicure lady just hovered over me while I filled out my receipt, I guess waiting to see if she'd get a tip. It was intrusive and rude. I would never go back to her. I get that they were busy but the rushed service was terrible. They should take their time and check their worked before they try to shove you out the door. And hovering over the customer to see what your tip will be is just rude! Definitely do not recommend this place. read more

Went here with my cousin a couple days ago. We both got mani pedis with dip for mania and regular polish for pedis. Not happy at all!! They rushed to finish us, clipped a couple of my toenails to the meat which hurt, a couple of my nails didn't get dip all over and my nails started chipping the very next day and continues to chip away. I've had dip before and it was thicker than this, smashed my finger in a cabinet with them and no damage was done. But this time, I woke up to a chip that wasn't there when I went to sleep, put pants on and another nail chipped! For my cousin she showed the lady what she wanted (gold V French tip)and asked if she was able to do that. The lady said yeah and gave her a gold rectangle French tip that was a third of her nails. We got 2 min hand massages that was just them rubbing a drip of lotion in and half done pedi massages. IDK if it was just the wrong day with the wrong people working but after I have them remove this mess off my fingers I'll never return. read more

The salon is welcoming and clean. I really enjoyed my experience. I got a gel mani and regular pedi and they went above and beyond to make sure the colors matched. They also made sure I like he colors before they started. Pedi- she was very through and did an awesome job. Her application on the nail polish was just ok. She did miss the sides of the nail which is a pet peeve of mine she I didn't notice until I left. Mani- I loved my mani experience she was very very through and treated each finger with ease and care. She applied the polish with so much precision I was impressed. I gave them two stars because even through they did a great job with application. The pedi polish is already chipping after a week. And the mani gel polish started lifting 3 days after. I've had gel 3 times before and never had a problem so I'm a bit shocked at this. I thought I had found a new nail place but I think the search will continue. read more

After numerous blunders and hundreds of dollars, I've finally found a shop that gets it right every time. I come about every 3 weeks for a next gen manicure and pedi. No matter who does my next gen nails, they always come out beautiful! I get lots of compliments. The atmosphere is calming and the inside of this place is so cute. The staff is very friendly and they are willing to accommodate your needs. I bring my 3 yr old sometimes and get her nails painted. They don't mind re-so's and touch ups. Love this place. Have gone for 4 yrs and have been well treated. They use name brand products like nexgen. Extremely clean, auto clave for tools which are opened in front of you and all buffers thrown away after. Spa pedicure is started with custom liners that stay in place and wiped down before and after just in case. Lots of fresh towels changed out during processes.
