The only way I will ever go back to this place is if I get a refund. So i've been to this place about 4×. For hands and toes. The first time I had a good experience on my toes but a bad experience on my hands, the lady which I do not know her name who did my hands made them very, very thin with the machine my nails normally lasts over one month, especially because I get HARD GEL! But when I come to this place, they only last one week and a half and they start breaking and it's because the lady uses the machine too long on my nails to remove the nail polish. She does not remove the nail polish like normal nail salons does!! She uses the machine instead it makes my nails very thin . keep in mind i've been getting my nails done since I was 15 years old meaning I've gone to 20 plus places I have never ever had a bad experience ever in my life until I came to this place. I don't normally leave bad reviews unless I really dislike the service. But I really have to complain . So the first time I said whatever's maybe it was my nails but boy was I wrong the second time another lady did my nails so no complaints . But the third time. I saw the girl again and she did my hands and I told her my situation and she still did them very very thin AGAIN and they broke within a week. that is when I decided to go to the nail place and I spoke to the owner. The owner said they could give me a discount I don't know how much because I never went back. I never went back for the refill . I went somewhere else and finally decided to come back again after 4 months . I went back again November 22 Friday around 10 AM. That's when they open. Keep in mind I NEVER ASKED FOR THE DISCOUNT I ignored it because I just felt very bad and I do not like complaining like this. Anyways What a coincidence the same girl that keeps messing up my nails is there. Reason I'm stating the time and date is so the owner checks the cameras and sees the girl who did my nails. She was the only one there at the time until her coworkers started walking in 20 minutes later I was the first customer that day And of course now my toes and my hands are falling apart. They are broken. Even after getting HARD GEL. Within a week and a half. How is that possible?? I have never experienced this in my life. and it's only been one week and a half. I still tipped her because I'm not an ass but I will never ever go back again. Only way I will is if I get a free nail set, I am a loyal customer But with this situation I won't ever get back. Very very disappointed. Waist of my money and time .!!! My hands 4 of my nail fingers are breaking already. And my toe as well!! VERY VERY PAINFUL. The ladies were accommodating and they did a fine job, but the price was absolutely ridiculous for the service we received. There was no massage chair and no foot massage, with a simple plastic basin for foot washing. This would be alright if they charged a modest price, however it was 85 DOLLARS. Total, we paid 350 dollars for two pedicures and two manicures, one of which was just removing ONE hand of gel. The ladies are nice, but don't go here if you're looking for modest prices. read more

I love that this spot is appointment only. So it's never crowded. The staff is friendly and very welcoming and the prices are reasonable. I come here for my gel pedi so I'm always in and out in less than 40 minutes. Parking can get tight in the garage but there's always plenty of street parking. read more

I gave this place 3 try's before I decided to write my review. 1. First time went ok, I got gel-x but one of the nails weren't sealed properly so I had to go back for a repair. Thankfully since it was their fault, they didn't charge me but the tech put the nail on crooked so I had to have my Uber turn around to have her put it back on even though she initially tried to convince me that it wasn't before she decided to fix it. I also have to add after they did my pedicure I got an infection on the side of my foot, I've never had that before and think the tools weren't cleaned properly. 2. This time I made an appointment because I was going in on the day before Mother's Day. The tech was rude and said they're busy and asked if she could forego the design. I explained to her that this was why I made an appointment and she claimed there was a miscommunication because she didn't know I was doing gel-x with design even though I stated that when I made the appointment. To add insult to injury she tried to convince me I got almond last time even though I've never had almond in my life, I actually don't even like that shape. I finally told her no and she let the matter go. 3. My last shot I made an appointment, I got the same lady-no big deal. But she spent some parts talking about me and telling the other lady I was rude in Korean. I hate when people do that not knowing that some people can understand them- looks can be deceiving. She barely scrubbed my feet and tried to keep me from looking over my nails so I wouldn't notice any mistakes. The girl even cut me, and although I wasn't going to trip about it, she could have at least apologized since she spent the whole manicure trying to stop the bleeding. 4. Ultimately the worst thing for me was how unwelcome I felt. Their attitude towards me made me feel as if they'd rather I go somewhere else. Overall although my nails were decent, customer service also plays a huge factor for me, so I'll leave this place alone moving forward. read more

This is my favorite nail shop, by far. I will only go to Nails on 6th for my manicures and pedicures. The owners are so very kind, and personable. I scheduled with Jane, the owner, the first time I went in. And she is fantastic with nails! She takes her time to get it just right. In fact, all of her employees are good at their job. Jane recently added a new shop on Olympic in Koreatown, called Big Unni nail Haus. The space is beautiful and the employees are very welcoming. I can't say enough good things about these two nail shops! read more

My nails look like I have double gel extensions on them, which looks worse--too thick; she has been rushing the whole time; there was no one behind me. She filed my nails unevenly and made them very short. I think she overcharged me! It was a simple gel manicure with only two fingers' 3D flower work. Instead of using an airbrush, she used two different colors and charged an extra $30 for that. Overpriced and not professional. Sadly, I'm not returning. Edit to the owner: I didn't make an appointment for 3/31. Mine was for the 18 which I rescheduled for a week later. I didn't go to another salon with a name similar as yours, I went to this location. This nail salon is very clean and the interior is simple yet pretty! The nail tech who did my nails didn't really listen to what I wanted, she shaped my nails coffin and not square round, she also put on three of my gel x nails on crooked. The gel polish on the nails fell off after about 5 days which I've never had happen. The price was fair, I got 4 accent nails, total was $100. The service itself wasn't bad but their pricing was pretty high for what they did. Also, they don't have traditional pedicure seats and the ones they do have look cute but are extremely uncomfortable to sit in while getting a pedicure. Also no stairs to the high pedicure chairs and it's a pretty sturdy drop when stepping down. The size of the place doesn't allow for you to get your manicure and pedicure at the same time like most nail salons so I had to get each service one at a time and the woman doing my nails takes her time. I was there for nearly 3 hours for a hard gel mani and gel pedicure. The bathroom is outside of the salon and shared with the restaurant next door. The worst part was the crazy person in a blue wig and their butt out who was sitting at the bus stop outside the salon and yelled at everyone who walked by. That was my view throughout the entire 3-hour appointment. Needless to say, I won't be going back there. read more

I just left this place in tears. I want to start by saying my actual nail tech was very sweet, very kind, and did a great job with my nails and that is not at all my issue. My issue is that I spoke with a representative of this shop the day before i sent the exact photo i wanted and asked for the FULL PRICE she told me $90. I go in for my appointment they tell me "this is two toned that's extra $10" i'm already suspicious now because again i sent the exact photo yesterday and was not told this. Then she rings me up and tells me $120. I ask why it's so much they started doing what most nail places do and telling me apparently all the extras that i got that i didn't know i was getting or at least didn't know was going to add to $120. I tried to go back and talk to them about it because i literally left feeling scammed. And the woman (not my nail tech, a different woman) just kind of made me feel unheard and made it feel like i was just being dramatic but the nails aren't even long. My nail tech did an amazing job but $120 is absolutely insane for this kind of design, and i didn't even feel like they cared when i tried to talk to them about the price. They couldn't understand they blindsided me completely!! and i'm so disappointed to say I probably will not be back because of this experience. read more
