Went in for a soak off. Got my acrylics ripped off one by one instead of a normal acetone soak off. I kept pulling my hands back saying ow over and over. Worker gave me "a break" and went to smoke a cigarette. There's a hole in my nail bed and it started bleeding. My nail beds are raw and bendy. When I said I wasn't paying for that service, they only reduced the cost by $5. Will never be returning. read more

I absolutely love this place. I was taken here with a friend to get our Nails done before my bachelorette party in Nashville. They were very friendly! I had my nails dipped for the first time and I loved it. One younger nail tech in particular is outstanding. I had came back with my Bridal Party after this. Although they were very busy (I had a large wedding party, about 7 girls), they did great! My 8 year old cousin (Flower Girl) tagged along and they went above and beyond to make sure that she was entertained. I usually don't get my nails done and I am rarely in a nail salon but with the experience and satisfaction on this place, I am going to continue going here and even getting my nails done more often. I stopped in here for the first time yesterday to get a toe polish change (regular paint). I called before I went to make sure they could get me in. She told me 10 minutes. It took me 15 minutes to get there, and when I walked in, there was ONE person working. Two people were finished and paying and one other person was in the process getting a pedicure by the only person working. I was greeted when I walked in, and said I had called about getting my toes painted. The woman (who I think is the owner) made me feel like I was an annoyance, saying that I called 10 minutes ago, was told 10 minutes, and "she looks up as soon as she hangs up the phone and here I am." It's not my fault that you are the only person working in a nail salon. She got me to pretty quickly and she did a good job, but it was the vibe for me. She "scolded" me for putting the bottle nail polish on the arm of the chair because it could roll off, even though it was sitting there just fine. She even grabbed it and attempted to give me an example saying "see!" It was $15 to change my toe nail polish with regular paint. It took her maybe 5 minutes. She was very belittling almost and rude. There are too many other nails salons around to have to deal with that. Maybe she should get some more employees. I won't be back. read more

I was brought here for my bridal shower with a group of friends, by a couple of ladies who normally get their nails done here. We all got manicures and pedicures. The pedicure chairs were very comfortable and looked new. My pedicure turned out great and they did a great job with exfoliating and trimming the cuticles on my nails and toenails, I can be picky about that as not everyplace I've been does it. The manicure was great too and a couple in the group got gels. I'm very pleased with the service I received as we had a group of 9 and there were only three working (two people had no showed for work apparently). There were a couple of people that walked in and they were politely told it would be atleast an hour before they'd be served due to low staffing. They seemed fine with it, and as I just read a couple of the reviews below I feel the need to point that out. If a nail salon tells you they can't fit you in its not being rude, it's letting you know. The best part (besides the service/quality especially for price) was that the bar next door actually delivered a bottle of wine to us that we ordered and then we bought cupcakes next door whilst we were in-between services. I am VERY PLEASED. The ladies also gave me, since I was the bachelorette, a $20 gift card to come back. I definitely will. read more

The worst nail salon I've ever been to. Staff was unprofessional, pedicure was in complete and my nails chipped a couple hours after leaving. The place was dirty, files were not sanitized in between customers. I will never return! While I was there they received 2 complaint calls. One customer was over charged the other not happy with the service. The employee's joked about it in front of other customers. I have never been to a nail salon like this before and I treat myself on occasion to get my nails done. One Saturday my friend and I went to get a pedicure. We walked to the door and the door was locked, instead of opening it they were laughing, maybe that should have been an indication to not go in. They finally opened the door, not sure why it was locked. I asked how long for 2 pedicures, "oh we can take you now" ok. There was a young girl that walked in with us, she was getting a full set of nails, so of course she gets waited on first as hers would be more money for them. Nothing against the young woman. My friend and I sat in the pedicure tub soaking for over 45 minutes until I assume was the owner came over with a huge attitude and started working on my friend. All of a sudden the owner got up let the shop, went to her car, got her check book, then proceeded to sit at one of the empty stations to pay a bill, ok. So then one of the other ladies finishes up with her customer, she was ok. I am very ticklish so when they rub the bottom of your foot with the stone it is kind of uncomfortable for me, they were literally making fun of me. They not only basically tell you to give them a cash tip, they have a sign, but they speak amongst themselves in their language. I am not a prejudice person, but you can tell they are talking about all of us in the shop. They also do not sanitize their tools, the one lady who came for my pedicure came with the same cup from the lady she did before more me, yes the lady looked clean, but she could have had some nail fungus or something. My friend and I had a coupon, which we were told we could both use, then when it came down to it the owner said something and then said we can't use coupon, ok. I really hope this place gets shut down it is dirty and the people are very rude and don't deserve to own a business. read more

Not one to typically post negative feedback, but this experience was awful. Not only was I not greeted when I walked in, I sat in the pedicure chair until the water was cold and the actual pedicure just simply sucked. My friend who came with, was completely done with her pedicure before I was even started on. Needless to say I will not be back. read more

Manicure came out okay.. I've had better, but in also very picky. The reason I will not return is because they made me feel uncomfortable since the staff was fighting on who got stuck doing my nails. No one wanted to do it.. You would think they would want to win over a new customer, not run me off. read more

One of the worst nail salons I've ever been to. Me and my mom made a appt and went in to get a gel manicure they were busy, which is fine. But the owner was so unprofessional to the point where she went over to a customer that was about to get a manicure and whispered about me and my mom then the customer looked at us, walked to a pedicure chair and sat down. Then proceeded to say well I better get comfortable looks like I'll be here for a while and the owner laughed. Then the owner did me and my moms nails. Was frustrated that we picked powder instead of gel. Proceeded to put the powder on. And my nails chipped within a couple days and I ended up taking it all off and my moms lifted because they weren't done right. We decided to give them another try walked in there the other day and they refused our service said they were to busy and we would need to come back later. We walked out went to a different salon and got wayyyy better service. This place has terrible service, and they provide terrible quality. We will never be back to this horrible establishment and I hope they go under because they are unprofessional and deserve every bad review that they get. read more

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!! I would have given this place no stars but you have to give at least one to comment. I have never been urged to write a review of a business, until now. When walking in we were not greeted, but asked what we want. I was there being treated by my sister with a pedicure for my birthday and the place I normally go to, Le Boure Nails, was closed. I thought we would give this place a try. BIG MISTAKE. They were rude and extremely unprofessional. After telling us to have a seat and put our feet in the tub, the man doing my sisters nails then exited out the back door for a quick break, while the girl doing mine took two more clients in the back for eyebrow waxing. 30 minutes later, my sister and I were getting pretty impatient. Our water was cold, our feet were all wrinkly, and we had been sitting for so long that my sisters spray tan was beginning to wash off. They did not offer toe separators, which was the FIRST time ever that has happened. I know that doesn't sound like a big deal, but both of us have toes that curl and without those separators than our toes rub against each other and it ruins the polish. They finished mine first and I was kind of stuck in the chair until they dried fearful to move or my polish would be ruined. My sister, on the other hand, still had a while to go. She had gel polish on her nails so they had to soak in the remover a bit to get it off. While she soaked the nail tech used that time to take a couple breaks. When he finally finished with her polish, he walked away AGAIN and did not put her shoes on before he painted them. So, as anyone who had ever had a pedicure knows, you put your shoes on BEFORE you paint to avoid messing up the polish. Her polish got messed up and he had to fix it. Just as we were about to leave, the woman doing my nails had another client seated and started her pedicure. She called her by name, obviously a return client, and then opens up toe separators to put on the woman. I thought my sister was going to kill someone. We were over this place and ready to go. when my sister asked how much she owed, she asked why hers was more expensive. Then woman charged her extra for removing the gel nail polish. While we were there 2 other new clients came in, ironically both from the same place I usually go but was closed today unexpectedly. We were all unhappy and all had the same terrible experience. Its a shame, this place could have had new clients and new money, but with horrible customer service not only will I NEVER return to "Nails on K" but I will discourage anyone I know or ever will know from ever going there. I took my daughter here on a Sunday for mani's and pedi's. We normally go somewhere else but they aren't open on Sunday's so we decided to try this place since we've been to Nails on Main and liked it and this was the area we were in. Not impressed at all. Both of our nails were sloppy and they rushed us out before we were even dry. If you have to choose one or the other I would go to Nails on Main before I ever step foot in the K location again. read more
