And Ann did my pedicure so perfectly. I genuinely can't stop looking at my hands and feet. On top of that, the whole salon has such a great vibe. Everyone is laughing, joking around, and you can tell they actually enjoy being there, which makes the experience even better. It's such a fun, welcoming atmosphere. This location has gone down in quality. I was not welcomed or shown where to look at the polish choices. I had to step over a technician to wash my hands. The salon was not clean as they advertise. There were only a few color choices and the one I chose was old and gloppy. My nails were not fully painted and done very sloppily. They did not shape the nails. I sent pictures via email to show how poor my nails looked and did not hear back. I had to call the salon and was offered a redo. The only problem is I have to wait over a week! This is unacceptable and I was denied a refund. Very disappointed! read more

I thought they would be state of the art but they hardly had any choices. My gel started chipping within a week. I could not tell the employees from the clientele. They all were talking about how busy they've been but out of 10 people in the building, I think 3 of them were getting their own nails done (that leaves 2 actual clients if you do the math) There was a girl at the front desk whose job was to check-in. She obviously had an injury but apparently, that doesn't matter because she was the workhorse, and the 2 girls getting their nails done (I think employees) kept chomping at the bit if she took a break. I won't be returning. It was very uncomfortable. Id rather take my chances with language barriers. read more

The heavenly spa smells will hypnotize you when you first walk inside. You will never smell harsh liquids or hear the sound of electric drills. There is a receptionist to receive you, and she will ask what kind of service you prefer. While there are 5 options, I chose Oatmeal Vanilla because it sounded the most soothing. The scrubs and lotions that are used during services are also sold in the waiting area. I love that I can look and see what the ingredients are for each flavor. The pedicure wall has a long elevated couch with lots of throw pillows. A line up of barn style round sinks are sparkling white, and they are disinfected after every single person. Since there aren't any jets, there isn't any gunk lurking in the mechanical parts. After confirming my choice of vanilla oatmeal, the nail technician (Jamie) brought out a tray of single use products and sealed stainless steel tools. There is a display of nails in a frame with the exact descriptions of shapes, from round to square and stiletto to coffin. This should be included at all nail salons to eliminate the ambiguity of what "squoval" is. Hint: There's no such thing. A full hour was spent scrubbing and shaping, massaging and polishing. At the conclusion of the service, she noticed a streak on one of my toenails, removed all of the polish, and started over to prevent any disappointment once I got home. She also offered the remainder of the scrub and lotion, file and buffer block for me to take home. I stayed an extra 30 minutes visiting with the ladies around me, who were all as relaxed as I was. This natural nail salon is not going to be for everyone: if you are used to artificial nails that can be used to open cans of soda, this isn't for you. But if you are wanting something clean, upscale, without noxious fumes, and having set appointment times? Try Frenchies. read more

This was our first time into Frenchies Nail Salon in Ofallon Mo. My daughter had an appointment to get her nails done, which we arrived on time for. My daughter was getting her nails done for Senior pictures this week she had a few pictures picked out on how she wanted her nails and we asked if she could do her nails like that, the lady doing her nails said no, I won't have time. One of the nail pictures was a french manicure look. Then she proceeded to ask if this was for anything special and my daughter said Senior pictures and she just kind of blow it off like no big deal. Well, being a Senior is a big deal, you only graduate from High School once. So my daughter just went with the white nails and a glittery top. The whole while we were there the lady doing my daughter's nails kept asking one of her co-workers when her next client was going to show up. For the price that I paid which was $102.00 for the classic gel manicure and the classic pedicure, I feel I should have gotten a little more than that. I mean I could've painted her nails myself the way that she did them yesterday. I saw on their website different designs but when we asked if we could do that she said she didn't have enough time.
