My toes are very difficult to do. (Truthfully, I should probably have a podiatrist do it, but they don't use nail polish :) I moved here from another state and was a afraid that no one could take care of my toes like the former nail person. I called DaVi Nails and told them that my nails were curved and thick. I was told "Go to a doctor." I knew if I found the right person, I could avoid a Doctor. Sooooo, when I went to Nails Spa Excel, I described my problem and Kim said, "no problem". She did a wonderful job. She didn't hurt me once and my nails are done as well as the doctor could have done them. Plus, they are pretty too! read more

Everyone who works here is super nice. I go to school in prescott but am from san diego and was worried i wouldn't be able to find a good nail place out here but this place is pretty good. I picked this "spa" because of all the great reviews. I've been there twice now and both times my finger was nicked. The first time nothing was put on it, the second time glue was put on it. Part of the spa experience is to feel pampered while in a clean and comfortable environment, I felt like he was in such a rush to get to the next customer that there was no enjoyment at all. I have to agree with one of the other reviews I'm not sure how sterile this place is. read more

Been to several other nail places in town this is by far the best one to go to not only for nails but waxing as well especially eyebrows. I have been spending the summers in Prescott for four years and always went back to Chandler once a month to get my nails done among other things. This month I decided to try to find a salon here as I needed them done badly. Walked into Nail Spa Excel without an appointment and was taken care of immediately. Anna gave me a great pedicure and Kevin did an outstanding job on my gel French manicure. I almost felt like I was cheating on my nail tech in the valley as this was the first time in 5 yrs that I'd had someone else do my nails. Because of the good reviews on yelp, I took a chance on this nail salon. I felt a bit nervous as I pulled up to the outside because of its modest appearance. But those feelings quickly disappeared as Kevin set to work. His confidence and skill were most apparent. I had a pedicure and fill on my fingernails. I visited this salon earlier this month when I was in town visiting my family and was going out to celebrate my birthday. Since they jawd such rave reviews I thought I'd give them a try. They were very friendly and prompt but over all I left disappointed. I brought in a picture of how I wanted my nails from pintrest and two employees told me that they could do it no problem, it was a basic dark grey base with Glitter pattern on top. It turns out they grey they had was old and unusable so I ended up with a black base which was ok. The glitter didn't turn out how I wanted but it wasn't awful, the part that lead me to only give them three stars is that the guy doing my gel pedicure cut me on three fingers and one we could not get to stop bleeding the entire time I was there, I ended up having scabs on two of my fingers for about a week. I went home and cleaned the cuts right away to make sure I didn't get an infection. The staff could tell I wasn't thrilled although I did not voice any displeasure and I was not rude so they offered that I could come back next week and they would have a new grey gel and they would change the color for free, I thanked them for the offer which was very nice but since im from out of town it wouldn't work out for me. Over all my nails ended up looking nice, except for the cuts. read more
