I moved here from CO 3-weeks ago and needed a pedicure and a nail dip. I am happy they did my pedicure 1st. The lady that did my pedicure was terrible. She cut my big toe so short it was bleeding and then nipped my cuticle on the same toe. The products were noticeably watered down (cuticle cream and scrub) the lotion she used came from an open envelope that was used by someone else's pedicure. I was happy I brought my own polish. My toes look like a 2 year old polished them and my nails are jagged and have hang nails in the corners. Needless to say, I did not let them so my hands. The salon had a very depressing feel to it. The nails on my both feet are so sore. I will never go her again. I expected to have to go to several places before I find the right place for me but did not expect to have the worst pedicure experience of my life. Beware of this place. read more

First time here. Needed to get Nails done for funeral. Took over an hour. Friendly staff. Didn't feel to comfortable there. After nails were done, I was charged $50 But I didn't like them. They were way too thick and rounded like chewed gum stuck under a desk. Needless to say I will not be back here again. My nails actually hurt for the first two days after. I only gave two stars because I went with my friend and her nails turned out amazing. She got acrylic nails and they even gave her free gems on her nails. As soon as she was done with her nails she was begged to give them a good review right in front of them. I only got gel on my nails and asked for the screenshot that I inserted here in red. She didn't tell me that she wouldn't be able to do them, but if she did I would've been okay and instead asked for just a solid color. She cut multiple of my nails too short and they were hurting for days after. She gave me the completely wrong color and did not leave the middle nail clear. She did the first half of my nails very confident that she could do it but when I showed her the photo again when it was time to paint the tulip she audibly gasped and said "Ohhhh!!" as if she was scared and didn't think she could do it. I did not ask for hot pink and yellow nails. I asked for red nails. Not sure where she got those colors from. After she painted the tulip she gathered all of her coworkers around her and showed them my nails and they all laughed at them as she laughed along. She knew they were bad. And yet she charged me 60 dollars for some gel on my nails. My other friend also got a pedicure and gel on her toes and not even a day later all other gel on her toes was fallen off. The same friend got gel on her finger nails too, and after every coat of gel, the man doing her nails filed the gel that had just cured, and did not wipe off the dust. So the nails were very lumpy and uneven. The environment in there felt very awkward and mean. Overall my experience sucked and I will not go back and I hope that no one else does too for their sake. Can you believe I paid more than $30 for this crappy manicure? She didn't not even bother cleaning the nail entirely. I've been coming to this place for a long time but other than Robertson and Kathy, no one else is attentive or "friendly." I got a horrible customer service the lady doing my nails was rude and after I asked her to fix my nail multiple times. until eventually the manager came and fixed my toe nail because she for some reason couldn't. after the manager came to fix my nail he somehow fixed it and and the lady wouldn't look at me once after because she knew she was doing my service bad since the start. Tops is not my go to salon but where I go to when my main salon is too busy. Everyone that works there is very nice and you are usually in and out pretty quickly. The nail work is veryyyy mediocre though. Just enough to get the job done. Great selection of colors but I usually always have minor issues with either my nail shape, inconsistency of thickness of nails, gel top not being smooth, and lately I always have a gap from the tip out on my nail to my nail so the get rather dirty. I like going here because they are dependable and honest. I just don't think they are anything special. I also noticed my nail prices change sometimes. Last fill was $40 and the one before that $35. Got a terrible Pedicure here a while back (uneven nail polish, "callous remover" was a complete joke), should've went back and requested them to fix it, but I decided to just take the loss. Eventually tried to take the polish off, no amount of polish remover would even touch it. Went back to request they remove it, turns out it was gel, which I NEVER requested. Then they charge me $10 to remove it, when I didn't even ask for it In the first place?! I looked at who I presume is the owner (he answers the phone and sets appts, from what I could see, maybe just the manager?) and said "really? You're gonna charge me for this?" My sister and I went just around the 21st of November and we both had full pedicures and manicures with gels. My sister's nails came out great, I really think that her nail tech did a super job she really took the time to make her nails look good. AS for me, my nail tech was just nice, he did not do a very good job as my manicure started chipping about 3 days after, and my cuticles were all bubbled around the edges. I went back to have him do over two of my nails that had chipped, thereafter my nails looked trashed. So sorry, but my nail tech needs more training or schooling he really did a sloppy job too. read more

This place is not very clean or well maintained. It look very run down and the people there seem run down as well. The manicure station was full of nail clippings from other people. I got a gel mani and pedi 8 days ago and both my nails and toe nails are already chipping. For $83 including tip I wouldn't go back. My gel manicure usually lasts close to three weeks. My friend and I come here religiously to get our nails done. I have been going for three months with them and OMG. I am incredibly rough on my hands, yet my gel manicure over my acrylic nails always looks amazing, even four weeks later. Unlike other reviewers, I have had no problems with rough technicians or anything like that. I have been worked on by Tina, Robinson and Johnny. While my friend prefers Johnny, I think Robinson does the best manicure there! I would highly suggest this place to anyone in need of a new manicure spot!
