They take appointments and walk-ins. Back and front doors open so well-ventilated. I do pedicures, full pink and white sets, and fills. $25 for full pink and white set. Never feel rushed. Nothing fancy. For years I've been getting simple pedicures here with Opi nail color and it's always been a no-nonsense quaint place. On occasion I've gotten a gel manicure but it only lasts about 2 weeks. With 2018 came new spa chairs (with plastic discardable liners for foot spa) and nail tables- this change makes the already small space tight and awkward and their simple pedicure price has now increased from $13 to $18. The decent yet nonchalant service remains unchanged. You may have to wait even with an appointment. read more

I just love Nail Tek...I've been getting mani/pedis for over 17 years and I've never been anything but happy and I tell everyone I know about it. The staff is wonderful and now feels like family; the place is impeccably clean, something I don't always see in other salons; there's been a couple of times in a bind I went to another place which made me appreciate Nail Tek even more; I like the peaceful feeling and I can look out the window and people watch. This is a good place to go if you want just a very basic mani/pedi, gel/no gel. If you want something specific, like a specific design, you'll probably have to go somewhere else. They don't do much else than your basic flower or uncomplicated designs. Nice place though with nice chairs and very good prices. read more

I feel so badly for my Mom, she is seriously heartbroken. She took off her and her mothers wedding rings when she got her nails done and left them there. Upon returning the nail ladies said they were not there and that no one had sat at her chair. They were definitely stolen probably by an employee which is so sad and I strongly believe in karma so they will get there's. She has had her moms ring since her 20's when her mom passed away at a young age. She offered a reward and filed a police report but no luck :( so customers be warned don't take off your jewelry here or you may never see it again! read more

I think a major downfall here is the nail techs don't speak English - at all. So you'll tell them to file round and they will file square. You say I want to leave the length, they will file your nails down to your skin. My essie gel mani chipped and peeled within 2 days, and I only found time to return the following week. When I mentioned it, they re-did the gels asking absolutely zero questions - and this time it lasted a good 3 weeks. Since all my other pedis there have been great (I don't typically get manis), I'm inclined to think that the one bad mani was just a fluke. Like other reviews, its a no frills place. My experiences have always been mediocre. They are all nice and friendly, but I wouldn't say any of them are craftswomen at their trade. Ive only had a mani pedicure twice. The first time the polish on my hands chipped within the first 3 days. The second time I jus went with clear polish. Its good to do your nails here while your laundry dries next door. read more

Made an apt today for two mani/pedis. Friendly greeting upon arrival, picked out color and promptly seated in very comfortable chair where nice warm water soothed my cold, tired feet. Excellent, timely pedicure and manicure, cuticles cut perfectly, color applied flawlessly - all for $53 total (two persons). We will be back! read more

My go to nail place for me and my husband for the past 10 years. No frills but clean, friendly and my nails always last forever!!!!! Super good with giving nail advice and will go the extra mile to make sure nails are the way you want them, you just can't be scared to talk to them. The ladies are quiet and that is way better than those busy places when they up charge for every little thing and shout in your face to their friends(and yes they are talking about you!). My mom and I have been coming here for 15 years! They do great job and are really sweet! Mostly all of them have stayed this whole time and even though there are no spa chair this place is packed most of the time. They don't rush or yell at each other while working on you. This is a solid no frills place. Pros: The technicians were pleasant, could communicate and I didn't feel rushed. They also gave a nice mini massage while applying lotion to my hands/feet instead of quickly rubbing it in. The price for a manicure/pedicure is $20 which is the best I have found in the area. Cons: There aren't any fancy pedicure chairs and they didn't provide any temporary sandals so I had to walk barefoot to the drying station. My polish chipped after 2 days. read more

I would've rated it negative stars if I could. It was the worst experience I've ever had getting my nails done. I've been getting nails for over a year and saw decent reviews on yelp and decided to try this place . When I went in and nobody greeted me and my nail tech was late for my appointment. She put on the tips crooked and tried to tell me it was my fingers. She redid it and when she filed One of my nails and trimmed it she cut me and I was bleeding pretty bad one of the other nails tech ladies had to help her file my nails so they would look crooked. It took her 2 1/2 hours to complete a full set of nails and I will not go back . She even asked me for a tip. . I shouldn't even been charge for the service. Beware read more

This nail salon is the PITS! Beware as manicurists there don't like to be asked any questions, i.e., why do they FLING toe nails and fingernails all over and around you just so they can vacuum them later, rather than gather them in the towel they use for that purpose - disgusting to sit surrounded by clipped/flunked nails, and not very sanitary. I personally am a licensed cosmetologist and know something about sanitation. The other problem with this salon is they're not up to the latest nail procedure, i.e., using HOT SOAPY water and some kind of disinfectant! Very dangerous for diabetic seniors who may loose toes for lack of proper sanitation ANYWHERE and at ANYTIME. They still use old fashioned foot basin with lukewarm water, AND they don't post a price list anywhere, and when I asked about that they say it's not required, they've been in business for 17 years and even if it's a State Law, they're not required to post or change anything. I just filed a complaint against this salon, and hope to see some results soon from the State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology. People beware as your health might be in jeopardy, just as I was very worried having this salon providing me and my husband with nail service, especially since my husband is diabetic. I give this salon a zero star review! Of course you can only give one star, which I do here very reluctantly!!! read more

This is my new go to place for an affordable pedicure. I love that they use a new liner for each pedicure, it puts me at ease since I always feel so grossed out by those fancy pedicure chairs/bowls. I took microbiology and don't even want to imagine what kind of bacteria they harbor. Idk why some reviews said they didn't put much detail into their work, I felt like they did a great job. The selection of colors is also pretty reasonable unlike what others have said. read more

My nail tech has been Nina for the past 5 or so years. I have acrylic nails and have never had a problem with them. my problem is that I recently moved over 50 miles away and won't be able to go see Nina anymore. She spoke english, did what I asked of her as far as making nails shorter, rounding tips, whatever. Nina keeps her place sanitary and neat. I don't have a bad thing to say about the place. this place was not that great. it's fine since it's steps from my house, but it wasn't very relaxing and it felt like an assembly line. i kind of couldn't believe mani/pedi was over when they finished. they didn't really get in there and do detailed work. i got hangnails almost immediately and there were chunks of skin that they missed entirely in the crevice next to my fingernails. my gel manicure started to lift in about 5 days, by 2 weeks several of the nails were entirely peeled off. it wasn't terrible, per se, just cheap. like the walmart of nail salons. also, there was a gaggle of teenage boys on skateboards yelling seriously threatening sexually explicit things at young girls across the street and generally being unlikeable right outside the front door. the owners would do well to post some no loitering signs. or call the police. upon reflection, i wish i had done something about the misogynistic and harassing language they were hurling around, but they probably wouldn't have cared. read more
