I had Aurora as my nail tech and my friend had Ari, we were welcomed with warm greetings and told to choose our colors. I got vixen which was an orange sherbet color along with a winterberry wine. I never had a mani or pedi before so I did not know how much detail was going into my nails and the care being taken into consideration. Both ladies were super attentive and patient and thorough in their work. We were offered complimentary drinks and I received the passion fruit cocktail which was a nice refreshing treat in this heat. The location is peaceful and quiet if you're looking to reset and be in a "zen" mode. They exfoliated, scrubbed, and lathered our feet and arms up and the nail maintenance was efficient. Seats non vibrating/massaging I came here to get a pedicure the day before attending a wedding. I got the regular saloon pedi which was $55 but was charged $60 due to them picking the color I wanted. Apparently that brand of polish dries quickly. The space is very clean and they have you wash hands before picking your color which I love. They also give you a welcome drink. I got a Bellini which tasted well. Their chairs don't have the massage feature like many other salons do but are comfortable. The $60 pedicure comes with a scrub, hot oil massage, a steam towel foot wrap. The nail tech didn't push me for additional services or to upgrade to gel at all which was so refreshing. The work was done relatively quickly and well. I'd come back here for a pedi if I need one asap. For fingernails, they only do regular and gel manis and not specialized services like dip powder or acrylics. read more

On 05/06/2026 I genuinely have never felt more disrespected at a nail salon in my life. I originally arrived around 3PM and waited patiently. I had to step away briefly, so instead of causing confusion, I respectfully made a 5PM appointment and came BACK at the time I was told to return. When I arrived at 5PM, I was told my nail tech was finishing another client and would "be right with me." Cool. Fine. Except "right with me" turned into me sitting there like a decorative lamp for over 30 minutes while everybody acted like I didn't exist. At 5:36PM, another woman walked in AFTER me and was immediately taken before me despite the fact that I HAD AN APPOINTMENT and had already been waiting. At that point, it stopped feeling like disorganization and started feeling intentional. As a Black woman, I absolutely noticed the difference in treatment. I felt like other races -- specifically white women -- were being prioritized over me while I sat there being ignored despite being patient, polite, and on time. And what made it even worse was when I went to the front desk to address it, the woman literally laughed and smiled like it was amusing that someone else had just been taken before me. Nothing about that is funny. No apology. No accountability. No effort to keep me as a customer. Just attitude, disrespect, and wasted time. If appointments mean absolutely nothing here, just say that. But don't have people sitting around for almost 40 minutes looking stupid while walk-ins or late arrivals get seated first. The service was disgusting, the professionalism was nonexistent, and the way I was treated left a horrible impression. I will never return. read more

Nailsaloon, located in Crystal City, is my new favorite nail salon! My friend and I were able to walk in on a Monday afternoon for gel pedicures with no problem. First, when you walk in, you'll be pleasantly surprised by the lack of fumes. You won't smell any nail polish at all! Then, you're directed to wash your hands before picking nail colors. Everything is meticulously clean and neat. They have every color you could want and they even encourage you to dab a bit on your nail to see if you actually like the color. I chose a really pretty shimmery glittery pink. The chairs for the pedicures are comfortable armchairs. No massage chairs but still very cushy and comfortable. You're able to order a drink and they have teas, soft drinks, coffees, and even alcoholic beverages. My friend got a mimosa and I got a decaf latte! My nail tech, Nasiba was excellent. I felt pampered and so relaxed. She gave an excellent massage and was firm but gentle at the same time. She put a lot of care into my pedicure and I thought she was very detail oriented! The gel pedicure is $65 before tip (+$10 for gel). For the ambiance and environment, I think it is totally worth the cost! I'll edit my review later to report back on how long the gel pedi lasts. I will definitely be back , maybe for a manicure next time. They even offer kid manicures and pedicures! This would be great for a mommy & me date, girl's night, or even just to treat yourself. Upon walking in I was asked to wash my hands and I was promptly offered a drink and they got right to work. It is a clean, big space, with efficient employees. The one downside I was faced with was the fact the person who was helping me said my toes were dry, but once I got home and took off my socks, two of my toes were smudged due to not being fully dry. read more

Okay...long post, but stick with me, because I promise it'll be worth the read. If I could rate this salon at 10 stars I would, but Yelp only allows 5. First and foremost...I will say I am a bit of a nail snob...lol. I hate to say it, but I am SUUUUPER particular on how I like my nails done. As someone who has had her nails done off and on for almost 20 years now...I've seen it all and tried it all. I recently moved to the Arlington area (like last week recently) and needed some sense of normalcy in my life after moving 9.5 hours away from home. So, I looked online for a new nail salon to try. Nail Saloon was the first one that popped up and was literally within walking distance from my new apartment. Upon looking at their website, I was impressed with the cleanliness of the salon (nurse here, so this is a non-negotiable for me), the salon's vibe, the salon's aesthetic (clean, sleek, modern), and the services offered. Natural nail health and integrity as well as use of non-toxic products is their motto, which I really like. When I walked through the door, I was greeted immediately by 2 very nice women. They asked me what services I wanted, and provided me with the cost upfront (which I found refreshing because I've been told different prices for services rendered in the past at other salons) and signed me in. I waited for a few minutes, and then was taken back to the station. It was bright, light, modern, sleek...but very calming. And they also take a chill vibe seriously...so much so that there are signs that ask guests to keep conversations to a whisper if talking on the phone to avoid disturbing other guests (major points for this in my book)! My technician Namuun (I believe that's how she spelled it...my apologies if I got it wrong) was nothing short of AMAZING! She was very gentle with removing the dip I had previously on my nails. Then came the Russian manicure which I was SOOOOOOOO happy about (my nail salon back home never does a manicure prior to service...you have to ask for it and pay extra for it). The meticulousness and attention to detail of the manicure and the cuticle care was incredible. I decided to go for a round shape and chose a nude builder gel shade. Here's the part that impressed me the most and was icing on the cake for me...they put sunscreen on my hands before placing them under the UV light!!!!! As a dermatology nurse who works in surgery and assists with the removal of skin cancers...this was HUUUUUUUUGE for me, as no other nail salon I've ever been to in the past has done this or even offered (I always put my own on my hands prior to getting them done). Then came the sugar scrub followed by the massage with the oil and lotion...which were WARMED..... My mind was blown. This was hands down THE BEST manicure I've ever had. The more I look at it, the worse I realize this manicure is. I recently visited this salon for a Dazzle Dry manicure and pedicure, and while the space is beautiful and the staff were very friendly, the quality of work and pricing left me very disappointed. For $105, I expected far better results. First, when it came to removing my previous gel manicure, they initially tried to charge me $20 for builder gel removal--even though I didn't have builder gel on my nails. It wasn't until I pointed this out that they changed the charge to $10 for regular gel removal. Even after that, the manicurist didn't remove all the gel properly, and I had to point it out multiple times. The nail beds weren't smoothed or prepped well enough, which resulted in a bumpy and uneven Dazzle Dry application. Second, while they did take $5 off the additional $10 charge for Dazzle Dry (which is $5 extra for both the manicure and pedicure), it still didn't feel worth the cost. The top coat they used was almost empty, which affected the finish, and the polish on my toes is just as bumpy as my nails. On top of that, the cuticle cleaning for the pedicure was rushed and incomplete, so my nails didn't have that polished, finished look I was expecting. The ambiance of the salon is cozy and inviting, and the staff were kind, but the results were simply not worth the price. It's frustrating to pay extra for a premium polish option like Dazzle Dry, only to have the final product look uneven and poorly applied. I was hoping this could become my regular salon because it's close to home and one of the nicest-looking salons in the area, but I don't think I'll be returning based on this experience. I gave 2 stars mainly for the environment and friendliness of the staff, but I can't recommend this salon for the quality of their services, especially at this price point. read more

I've tried and tried and I just can't recommend this location. The staff is just meh or worse. They don't listen. On my last time there, I said three times not to cut my cuticles and yet she kept picking up the nippers to cut them. Each time I was polite and said, "please don't cut them" and she put them down. But when she tried a fourth time, I was not so nice. It didn't seem to be a language barrier - she was just out of it. They are all way too rough with the filing tool to remove gel. No one is friendly. The salon is super clean and I want to like it so much but I'm done with this location. The Logan Circle and Capitol Hill saloons are so much better. read more

It was clean, the nail polish color selection was extensive and impressive, and I had a wonderful experience. I had Nasiba do an amazing job with both gel mani and pedi. Loved the sea salt scrub.
