‼NOT SANITARY‼ This is the second time I come here and noticed the gentleman was using USED nail files and buffers. I brushed it off thinking he was just learning. I came in again today and noticed the same thing from both of the ladies providing pedicures. After requesting new tools, I was ignored and she proceeded to use the USED ones. On top of that, I was give a towel to cover up? I guess my shorts were too short for them. I do not recommend that anyone comes here unless you want to leave with an infection.

Catherine is the absolute best artist in all of Norwalk California! She always does an incredible job, so attentive, artistic and the kindest person ever . She also does an incredible work on lash extension . I wouldn't trade her for any other artist

Me and my bf went in together for our first time and they did not disappoint. The wait time wasn't crazy, considering it was the weekend. We both got pedicures and they did such a great job on both of us. We will definitely be back! I wish we got the names of our pedicurists but every lady in there seemed so chill nonetheless.

This is the 2nd time ive came to this spot and I absolutely love their work. I showed Tracy a pic i wanted and she did it even better . Thank you. I also had ankle surgery and asked if she could do just a color change and she was gentle as could be . My toes don't look tore up from surgery in my cast anymore.

I wanted to get my nails done before my dinner at Vespertine, and found Ken on Yelp. I was but hectic with my schedule, first scheduling at the wrong time, then having to postpone my appointment time by an hour. I felt so bad, but Ken was gracious and flexible with me. My nails are not in the best shape. I'm recovering from a gel manicure I had from another salon 6 months ago, where half my nail bed was drilled to a thin sheet. All I wanted was a regular manicure with not-gel polish, with some accent nail designs. I explained what I wanted and Ken took the direction and made a few suggestions- and I ended up with a regular mani with regular polish BUT with gel polish for the leaf design and gold ombre! I didn't know the combination of gel and regular polish was even a thing! I'm so pleased with the outcome, and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality nail tech. Ken was an expert at cleaning and shaping my nails. So gentle with the cuticles, and with my weakened nails. Wish I could find a nail tech like him in the Bay Area!!

I wholeheartedly regret coming here. I came here because I was itching to get my fill-in from a gel X set I previously had, off. So I came in for a soak off initially and decided I'd get a manicure also (with paint). I was greeted by a male staff (must be the owner?) by the cashier/front desk area doing nails for a client and I was serviced by the only other nail tech in the shop. My hand was soaked off in a bowl of alcohol and that hurt after a while because my hand was covered with a bag and it started to heat up. I was asked about how I wanted them cut and I said short/medium because I was happy with my growth. My thumbs were the star of the mistake. One thumb was shorter than the other so I asked the lady to fix the other and she ended up nearly filing them all the way down to showing absolutely no growth in my thumb at all. The owner ended up asking to fix it and so he did but I decided not to proceed further with polish because of my overall nails not being in uniform length. The excuse the owner gave me was that my nails are too thin and that's why she had to round the edges (which I understand), and acknowledged that the lady did cut off a lot of my thumb length. He also said that there's bad and good nails techs at any salon, which I know that for a fact, but I came to this place due to the good reviews. I was proved otherwise. I also mentioned my observation of the lady tech touching her feet while she was on her phone, while I was getting my soak off and the owner started to say that we could review the cameras and so on... I said that wasn't necessary, I just don't think it's hygienic and then he proceeded to say he'd talk to her. The interior is nice and everything looks clean. Playing good upbeat music also that keeps you awake. But overall experience was not one that would make me want to come back. The owner decided to give me $5 off the service and suggested I'd come to see him next time and I said I was unsure if I'd even be back. And then he proceeded to mention possibly the future. There's definitely no future again for me here. Pictures attached for reference. Sticking to my usual salon! It makes me so sad to write this, I'm just so frustrated that my growth is gone and now my nails are not uniform. What a sucky way to end the year.

We have been coming here ever since the owner changed and I have never been disappointed. The customer service is top notch, and all the techs go out of their way to make you feel happy and you walk out satisfied. If ANYTHING happens to your nails after you leave, Ken goes out of his way to make it right and on top of that, no charge! I go out of my way to come here, as we moved an hour away. But upon visiting my mom, appt or not, Ken welcomes both me and my daughter in! Seriously love this place and so does my baby girl. And not to mention, music choice brings out such a chill vibe and just makes you want to be in a pool in Sin City Vegas. Thanks Ken!

They are a good new addition in town. Their prices are good and they are pretty good with what they do. They accept cash, credit card or Zelle and offer points and discounts for return customers. Ken did my nails which I showed him pic/video of what I want and he did very well and completed it as close as to what I wanted. Luisa did my pedicure and she was very gentle and thorough. I usually get scared with pedicures because I've been cut a lot of times before, once even led to infection, but Luisa was gentle and the color was painted evenly. This new nail salon is worth trying and getting support from the locals. Tip: Try to make an appointment as they all want to make sure that the work they do is good and might take some time to complete. If you're walking in, please expect to wait unless there are no other clients there. Let's be decent and act like educated human beings. Let's have respect for all people. read more

I went in last minute before my trip to get my nails fixed & I am sooo happy with how they turned out!!! Ken did such an amazing job and I really appreciated how attentive he was, asking if I was okay, if I was happy with the shape and color, and he is a great conversationalist! I've been coming to get my nails done from Ken now for about a year now, his nails are the best! He knows how to do all the designs I ask for. My favorite part is that his nails do NOT break. I am those types of girls that forgets she has acrylics on and slamming her fingers on surfaces or getting them caught on the car door etc. lol other places they break instantly but I'm telling you they are hardcore! I've been here twice now and both times were awesome! Ken the owner is very thorough and professional. The second time I came back for a fill on my acrylics and he noticed a micro crack in the nail. He replaced the full nail with no extra charge! Great attention to detail and he takes pride in his work so you come away with high quality nail application. The facility is clean, new and with comfy massage chairs. The atmosphere is very trendy and fun. The staff are sweet and they do quality work. I recommend them for the Norwalk New Business Award and I hope they win. Nevertheless, this is my new nail place and I will definitely be returning! read more

I decided to try out a new nail spot and booked an appointment for 4:00 PM. When I arrived and told them I had an appointment, the lady was in shock. No one was able to get started on my nails until 4:20 p.m. When I got asked what I wanted, it's almost as if they were upset with me for picking what I wanted done because they did not have time. When getting my manicure done my cuticles were not cut down or anything. She just started applying the fake nails. I will not be coming here again. My nails are cute, but they aren't neat. Drove by this nail salon and thought why not go during my kids softball practice and check it out! When else will I have the time to try and get some me time in - It looked way to nice to accept a walk in but I was hopeful!! Super glad I did! Ken was so warm and welcoming. Appointments are a thing - just an fyi BUT Ken cut his lunch short and totally squeezed me in right away. He is so personable and charming has such a raw vibe - honestly I've never been so comfortable in a nail salon until today because of him! Conversation flowed. Legit his skillset is honestly refreshing. He shaped my nails perfectly. I love an old school oval tip - they are impeccable. It's hard to do this flawlessly. He was super fast to with no pain! The gel color is vibrant and looks like it's going to last. This salon has so many color options it's mind boggling excitement. Another reason I'll be back! The space itself is so cool! Earlier today I went to a nail shop that messed up my nails I left that shop crying and I called this shop called xstasy to see if they can fix my nails that 1st shop i went to messed up on. Ken answered and said don't worry come down and when I arrived I seen how beautiful this hidden gem shop was and Ken got right to it and fixed up my nails they look so beautiful now. Messaged XSTASY on instagram to set up 2 appointments, and they were very friendly and responded super fast. I've heard if this place from a friend and she loved it so much so my cousin and I came in to give it a try! IN LOVE. Customer interaction through messaging was friendly and super responsive. And in person we were lucky to have met and be Serviced by Ken. As well as another girl in the salon who was equally as nice. This was my nail design after Ken finished my set, it was perfect. They looked even better than the picture inspo I had shown. We will definitely be back, hands down best customer service and nail service we have gotten. While I understand that unforeseen circumstances can happen, last minute cancellations like this are highly inconvenient and disruptive. What makes this situation frustrating is the strict enforcement of the company's cancellation policy, which charges customers a 50% fee when canceling less than 24hrs in advance. It is only fair that the same level of accountability be upheld on both sides. Customers are expected to respect the policy, and in return, the business should demonstrate the same consideration and reliability. Not be compensated with a $5 discount. When if I had canceled the appointment would have been charged $30. Experiencing this issue more than once concerns me about their consistency and professionalism. I hope improvements are made to better manage scheduling or compensation.

She did not bother to introduce herself kindly or interact with me in any kind of way. She seemed very annoyed. She didn't care to make me feel welcomed or comfortable in such an intimate service. During the service I expressed to her that she was going too fast for me as I was in extreme pain from the way she was applying the sugar on my skin to the yanking of the hair. She stated that it was because I was on my cycle and because my hair was extremely long, now I understand it was long but like I said im not a newby to the pain of a Brazilian. She could've responded in a more understanding way. It just was not a pleasant experience for me from the moment she came out to get me from the lobby because of the customer service. I don't know if I got her on a bad day, but I wouldn't want any girl to experience the treatment that I did today. Sugar and Glow I hope you reiterate to your staff how important it is to make clients feel welcomed and comfortable, and to simply be kind and friendly, basic human decency. I had a perfect clean arch before Cita had touched it, but I left the salon with a jagged arch and the hairs refuse to grow back now. Also for me they put something on my feet and it burned. One of my toes was left with a burn mark. The nail tech also didn't really understand English so it took her awhile to take off the product so I had to dip my foot inside so I wouldn't burn the rest of my toes.
