I got a basic manicure and pedicure w/ regular polish - decent service and great value. They have a promo right now, 20% off if paying cash (unfortunately I didn't prepare ahead of time). I called ahead to make the appointment for my friend and I, and when we arrived we only had to wait 5-10 minutes. I dislike the salons that overbook and make you wait 30+ mins to start service so this was great! The salon is clean, my slight criticism would be to have better ventilation. When I walked in I was hit by the smell of nail polish fumes, it was a bit overwhelming but I got used to it after a while - beware if you are sensitive to smells. The manicure / pedicure itself was decent, the edges could be a little bit cleaner but overall solid spot, especially for the value. read more

I went in on a Saturday morning without an appointment looking to get a pedicure. They got me in within 15 minutes. The store was cool and had music playing but on the tv was a fabulous channel showing people making gorgeous pastries. The pedicure was absolutely fantastic, I got an extra 10 minutes of foot massage. Best foot massage I've ever had. Prices are reasonable, staff were great. I will be back and would recommend this business to everyone. read more

‼NOT SANITARY‼ This is the second time I come here and noticed the gentleman was using USED nail files and buffers. I brushed it off thinking he was just learning. I came in again today and noticed the same thing from both of the ladies providing pedicures. After requesting new tools, I was ignored and she proceeded to use the USED ones. On top of that, I was give a towel to cover up? I guess my shorts were too short for them. I do not recommend that anyone comes here unless you want to leave with an infection. read more

I have been testing this place 2 months now I've had fill , new sets , pedi and eyebrows done so far and everything has been great and good prices and if I've had ay minor issue they are quick to fix and understandable which is great ! I wanted to get my nails done before my dinner at Vespertine, and found Ken on Yelp. I was but hectic with my schedule, first scheduling at the wrong time, then having to postpone my appointment time by an hour. I felt so bad, but Ken was gracious and flexible with me. My nails are not in the best shape. I'm recovering from a gel manicure I had from another salon 6 months ago, where half my nail bed was drilled to a thin sheet. All I wanted was a regular manicure with not-gel polish, with some accent nail designs. I explained what I wanted and Ken took the direction and made a few suggestions- and I ended up with a regular mani with regular polish BUT with gel polish for the leaf design and gold ombre! I didn't know the combination of gel and regular polish was even a thing! I'm so pleased with the outcome, and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality nail tech. Ken was an expert at cleaning and shaping my nails. So gentle with the cuticles, and with my weakened nails. Wish I could find a nail tech like him in the Bay Area!! read more

We have been coming here ever since the owner changed and I have never been disappointed. The customer service is top notch, and all the techs go out of their way to make you feel happy and you walk out satisfied. If ANYTHING happens to your nails after you leave, Ken goes out of his way to make it right and on top of that, no charge! I go out of my way to come here, as we moved an hour away. But upon visiting my mom, appt or not, Ken welcomes both me and my daughter in! Seriously love this place and so does my baby girl. I wholeheartedly regret coming here. I came here because I was itching to get my fill-in from a gel X set I previously had, off. So I came in for a soak off initially and decided I'd get a manicure also (with paint). I was greeted by a male staff (must be the owner?) by the cashier/front desk area doing nails for a client and I was serviced by the only other nail tech in the shop. My hand was soaked off in a bowl of alcohol and that hurt after a while because my hand was covered with a bag and it started to heat up. I was asked about how I wanted them cut and I said short/medium because I was happy with my growth. My thumbs were the star of the mistake. One thumb was shorter than the other so I asked the lady to fix the other and she ended up nearly filing them all the way down to showing absolutely no growth in my thumb at all. The owner ended up asking to fix it and so he did but I decided not to proceed further with polish because of my overall nails not being in uniform length. The excuse the owner gave me was that my nails are too thin and that's why she had to round the edges (which I understand), and acknowledged that the lady did cut off a lot of my thumb length. He also said that there's bad and good nails techs at any salon, which I know that for a fact, but I came to this place due to the good reviews. I was proved otherwise. I also mentioned my observation of the lady tech touching her feet while she was on her phone, while I was getting my soak off and the owner started to say that we could review the cameras and so on... I said that wasn't necessary, I just don't think it's hygienic and then he proceeded to say he'd talk to her. The interior is nice and everything looks clean. Playing good upbeat music also that keeps you awake. But overall experience was not one that would make me want to come back. The owner decided to give me $5 off the service and suggested I'd come to see him next time and I said I was unsure if I'd even be back. And then he proceeded to mention possibly the future. There's definitely no future again for me here. Pictures attached for reference. Sticking to my usual salon! It makes me so sad to write this, I'm just so frustrated that my growth is gone and now my nails are not uniform. What a sucky way to end the year. read more

Went for the first time here, I was looking for a nail salon here in Norwalk for a while but none were calling my attention. then I came across this place on Instagram and the Work that they were posting on their social media is what got me to finally go in today and give it a try and I'm glad that I did. First time here and they did a great job!!! If you're looking for a new place check them out! I was a walk in so had a little wait (totally expected) but tip, you can make appointments online. I wanted a nude almond not too round and they did just that. While filing & shaping ken checked in with me to make sure that was the length and shape I was looking for. Soooooo I have tried numerous places and never felt satisfied. Especially with the last nail salon I went to. Well I found Xstasy Nails on Yelp and had to try them out. I am literally very impressed and satisfied! Ken and his staff were very welcoming. I felt at ease! The salon itself is very clean and spacious. I loved the walls and all the art they had up. Ken is meticulous and very efficient. His thoroughness is outstanding. I love my nails so much. I love how is attention to detail is spot on, he even gave a recommendation on how he can do an ombré glitter on one of the nails as opposed to an all glitter nail. Was recommended to come here by a friend and they did not disappoint. Ken has such an eye for detail and he quite honestly gave me the best nails I've ever had. Pictures don't do my nails enough justice, they came out GORGEOUS. I hadn't even left the spa yet and other clients were already giving me compliments. I really am so satisfied with my service! KEN IS AMAZING! he is a great listener and even bettter craftsman! I finally found my nail guy! Also : I The spas are sanitary as well because they also use a liner and are so kind and caring about your service! I actually never received any calls, texts, or emails from them.The receptionist claimed they couldn't leave me a voicemail. I seriously doubt they ever tried to contact me to reschedule! There was no other sugarist who could wax me, the only option they gave me was to reschedule me for a different date. There's nothing ruder than wasting someone else's time! This could have easily been avoided and they could have retained a customer if they didn't drop the ball with communication.

I had a perfect clean arch before Cita had touched it, but I left the salon with a jagged arch and the hairs refuse to grow back now. She was adamantly suggesting me to use caster oil to regrow hair (which is untrue btw - it's an old wives' tale) and was not listening to what I was saying. I was beyond speechless after that. Of course I left a tip but I will not be going back because that was the treatment I was given as a returning customer. Very disappointed. Was hoping for consistency in good work due to the 5-star review streak. Maybe other customers were purposefully being treated better than me. ‍

Anthony is hands down the best nail tech I have ever had. I genuinely cannot say enough good things about him and his work. I've been getting my acrylics done by Anthony, and his retention is incredible. My nails have lasted a month and a half even after going to the beach, being active, and doing things with my hands that could easily cause lifting or damage. The fact that they stay looking amazing for that long says so much about the quality of his work. What truly makes Anthony different from other nail techs is his patience and the way he treats his clients. He actually listens to what you want and wants you to leave completely happy with your nails. If you don't like something, he will take the time to fix it, change the design, reshape it, or even start over without making you feel like you're bothering him. I have never experienced a nail tech who is so willing to make sure the final result is exactly what you wanted. He is also genuinely kind, professional, and makes every appointment a good experience. You can tell he takes pride in his work and truly cares about his clients. Anthony wasn't available for my appointment today, so I tried another nail tech, and it honestly made me realize how much I appreciate him. The experience was completely different, the other tech was not patient, did not make me feel comfortable, and when I expressed that I no longer wanted to continue with the service, I felt pressured instead of heard. They were unwilling to simply remove what had been done without charging me, and the whole situation left me feeling extremely uncomfortable. After that experience, I will absolutely be waiting for Anthony's availability from now on. A talented nail tech is great, but finding someone who is patient, respectful, and genuinely cares about their clients is rare. I've been here before and have had good experiences with Jasmine and Naomi, so I don't feel the entire spa should suffer because of one person's behavior. That's why I'm still giving 2 stars. Unfortunately, today's appointment was very disappointing. I asked for the deluxe pedicure with regular polish, no gel. While trimming my toenails, Mimi was a little rough, so I politely asked her to be gentler because my feet are sensitive. I then noticed my right toenail had been cut diagonally and asked if she could please even it out. I even said, "Please don't get upset that I'm asking." Instead of simply hearing me out, her demeanor immediately changed. She became defensive, raised her voice, and insisted that was how the nail was supposed to be cut. She eventually said she would fix it, but never did. A second walk-in came in and service was rushed, but I kept an eye to ensure the service I asked for was being done - $65 pedicure. Later, when I questioned whether a second coat of polish had been applied, I again told her, "Please don't get upset that I'm asking." The same thing happened. She became defensive and loud, insisted she had applied two coats, and dismissed what I was trying to explain. What made the interaction especially uncomfortable was that when I later addressed her tone, she seemed to minimize or deny that she had been speaking to me that way.i saw 1 coat applied . The wax treatment was also very hot. When I mentioned it, her response was simply that it was supposed to be hot, rather than checking whether I was comfortable. Mimi moved on to the next customer without telling me I was finished or offering to help when my nail polish was dried. After sitting for about 10-15 minutes, I removed the toe separators myself and put on my sandals. She was right next to me on my right side, and I caught her looking at me, but she never once asked if I needed any help. I simply got up and went to the front desk. I finally told her that I didn't appreciate the way I had been spoken to, especially since I had remained polite throughout the appointment. She shared that something was going on with her daughter, and I gently told her I was sorry to hear that. However, personal circumstances don't excuse becoming defensive or dismissive toward a customer who is simply asking for something to be corrected. I do want to be fair and acknowledge that Mimi was kind to my mom at the beginning and invited her to sit next to me. My mom was also offered hot tea, which I appreciated. I normally tip, and I did not tip today, which is very unlike me. I also travel nearly an hour to come here and have referred others in the past. Unfortunately, after this experience, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. I hope the owner or manager sees this and provides some coaching around communication, professionalism, and how to respond when a customer politely raises a concern. I do believe people deserve second chances, and hopefully Mimi is able to reflect on this experience and improve how she communicates with customers moving forward.

TO GET RID OF ME the girl handed me $35 and asked me to leave. I'll never be back here. They do NOT know how to handle complaints or any type of customer service. I do. NOT recommend this establishment to ANYONE! It isn't worth the risk and to have no one help to fix their crappy job. I specifically asked if they blow dry and style the hair after it's been shampooed and she said yes. She still took me in but she seemed so lost (that should've been my red flag). They made me lay down on the most uncomfortable bed table where my neck didn't reach the sink. The room Was hot with no AC and no relaxing music it was dead. She started to supposedly do head massages using these tools that were cheap and horrible and didn't make my scalp feel good at all. She would only massage with them for 10 seconds and move on to some else so uncomfortable. She then put some eucalyptus oil on my neck and shoulders and started massaging me with her knuckles! I told her it was painful and very uncomfortable so she stopped. She then started to shampoo my hair and after I asked if she could put some treatment bcuz it was dry. She wasn't going to but since I told I'd pay extra she did. She then proceeded to wash my face and add a scrubber leaving my skin dry afterward. It gets worse! She had no intentions of putting any moisturizer on my face! I told her aren't you going to add facial cream. She then said oh u want cream?! She then proceeded to put body lotion on my face!!! Wtff! At this point I was so over it! I wasn't relaxed as I thought I would be and my hair felt hard from the cheap products they use. Then we go to the blow drying station and I see her add some basic spray and just do a quick blow like half assed. I then said aren't you going to blow dry and style and wait for it!!! She says oh sorry we don't do style here. I wanted to scream! I told her I specifically asked you if you style and you said yes or else I would've never stayed!!! I have a concert to attend and wanted to look nice and now I look like the scarecrow! Gets even worse!!!. I then had to take it upon myself and start to blow dry my OWN hair!!! I paid $100 to fckn blow dry my own hair!!!! I could've saved $100 and done all this shit in my own home and done a better job! I've been to so many head spas and was excited there was one finally close to home but it was the worst experience of my life!!! Please don't waste your time and money at this place! They don't know what they are doing and aren't qualified for this stuff! She even had the audacity to assume I would tip her like TF!!! I'm so disappointed never again! Stay away!
