Long overdue review. My children have been patient's of Dr Saifee for years . We loved the nurse practitioner and mostly saw her throughout the years but got the opportunity to see Dr Saifee for sick visits here and there . I have nothing to complain other than the nurse practitioner being gone now, we will miss her dearly Biggest highlight we never wait long to be seen the nurse has us in the room in less than 5-10 mins The doctor or nurse practitioner would come in another 10 mins after The nurse is amazing she is very helpful with so many things She helped me get all the kids papers sorted out for school And also she helped me get some complicated referrals approved when the insurance was being so complicated My biggest con has to be something that I witnessed One family arrived so late to their appointment and they were demanding to still see the doctor and because they made such a scene it honestly seemed like they harassed every member of the staff they were still accommodated, and it affected everybody's appointment. that were actually on time ***don't be those people I felt horrible for the staff and for the people that had to wait due to the stubbornness / entitlement read more

I LOVE Dr. Saifee and have recommended her to everyone I know! However, her nurse/nurse practitioner's nurse , Jackie, is extremely unprofessional and contradicting to the doctors orders. The doctor has told one thing then Jackie gives her opinion which is completely contradictory of the doctor. My sons have been patients with Dr. Saifee for over 13 years now. I am so grateful for her, with my now 19 years old that she will see probably for the last time, she helped me navigate his learning disabilities in the most positive way. She has question me about literally everything from how many words to how it was for him to get homework done, she was patient, recommended a different diet, took the time to talk to him and explained the importance of good lifestyle habits, which by the time I thought I was doing good, I have learned so much from her, not everything has to be treated with medication and simple life changes can make a huge impact on a child development. When I had my now 9 year old it's was no brainer I was going to take him with her. His case is completely different from my old one she was quick to refer him to the regional center and got him on a speech and OT therapy by age 2. I can not thank her enough for asking all the questions other doctors would not ask. My little now is doing great in school, it's above his grade level thanks to the early diagnosis and I cannot believe the difference it has made. Run as fast as you can do not take your children to see Dr. Saifee. I took my 2 kids in to see Dr. Saifee. During my eldest physical she completely interrogated him and made him feel uncomfortable. Then while evaluating my daughter she comes in with an attitude and starts arguing with me because we don't share the same decisions for MY child. She doesn't respect other people's opinion and doesn't let it go. She interrogated the children and has the worst attitude. Horrible bedside manner and doesn't care about her patients. Doctors shouldn't be making their patients feel uncomfortable this is what causes patients to not seek medical attention because of horrible experiences like these. read more

Great doctor and staff have always exceeded our expectations. They were our first doctor for our kids when moving to Burbank and helped us deal with getting immunizations fixed from previous doctor mistakes and were always quick to help when our kids got sick and we needed to make sense of the issue and find a solution. She mis-diagnosed our child for 8 years from age 7-14. Insisted our child had allergies and "anxiety" because of the constant stomach complaints. She prescribed Claritin and referred to a Psychiatrist. We had to push hard for a referral to a gastroenterologist who FINALLY diagnosed CELIAC DISEASE. Our child suffered years of chronic pain and inconsistent school attendance due to her inability/ unwillingness to determine the reason for his symptoms. read more

I wouldn't recommend Saifee at all. Took my toddler in for a physical and she felt the need to ask me questions about the covid vaccine and if I myself was vaccinated in which is none of her business to begin with but I said no and her attitude switched and started getting rude saying I needed too get the vaccine because of my child that can't receive one so I responded by telling her that last time I remembered I was here for my toddler not for myself and that if it was a huge problem that I'm not vaccinated and she didn't want to see my child again that it's fine I'll take them elsewhere in which she responded well if you can't take advice you can look for someone else. I told her that's not advice when your trying to enforce someone to do something or that's against there beliefs plus it's not what your asking it's how your saying shit plus I wasn't going to have a discussion about that in front of my kids like lady respect my Response and leave it at that. But I'm not going back worse Pediatrician ever. Plus she started being different with my child when doing physical saying I didn't even vaccinate you for you to be crying in a mean tone. I don't have an opinion on the Dr.'s practice since I have not met her yet. Every-time I make an appointment she us either booked out of town or something. It has been 6 months since my daughters birth and I yet have to see her. I called again hoping to see her but I was told that I was going to be seen by the nurse practitioner. I am not saying they are less qualified but end of the day I pay whole lot of money to my insurance company so I can see a dr not a nurse practitioner. I let them know that if that is the case I will need to change pediatrician and they did not seem to care. I guess they don't need my business. I don't get these Dr.s if you can't see patients don't take new ones... Frustrated to the bone. They told me I had to make an apt 3 months in advance which by the way I did. Annoyed!! read more

Love Dr. Saifee and her staff. They are super professional, caring and take the time to answer questions. She's very knowledgeable and really takes the time to listen to your concerns as a parent. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen which is extremely helpful when you're dealing with children. Our old pediatrician would take up to an hour and doctors visits would turn into an all day event. So thankful to have found Dr Saifee. read more

Yesterday was my first visit with Dr Saifee and my last!!!!! she's rude, unwilling to take time to answer questions and takes forever!!!! she started taking my sons clothes off without telling me (i'm sorry but that's my job not hers) including his diaper that really freaked him out. Dr. Saifee used to be my child's pediatrician from birth to about 5 yrs old. Due to insurance issues he was seen by a different physician for several years. New insurance and my now 13 year old is back to Dr. Saifee and I couldn't be happier! She is attentive, soft spoken, and willing to listen to small details. She is informative and most importantly for a parent with a teenager, she was not afraid to ask about girlfriends, sex, STD's, and drugs. Dr. Saifee also took the time to explain to me the importance of a vaccine for my son and provided details for use and side effects. I was in and out in less than an hour for a complete annual physical/ football health paperwork which is great! Her back office assistant was super sweet and made sure everything was taken care of. Luis in scheduling was awesome! He was able to accommodate not one but two physicals for me to fit my work schedule despite me calling last minute. Thank you Luis! After reading a few of the reviews, I just HAD to comment. I have taken BOTH of my boys to Dr. Saifee for a number of years (they are grown men now). Dr. Saifee has ALWAYS been nothing but totally professional and highly intelligent and kind in her manner. My boys were sick a lot when they were growing up. There were a number of times where I could see how she caught things right away and dealt with them like an alert, astute & highly intelligent physician should. She never delayed or put off my concerns/treatment due to insurance/HMO issues. She had so much intelligence and experience, but a mother's instinct as well. You really can't get better than Dr. Saifee. Due to medical insurance changes over the years, I have had to take my kids to a number of different pediatricians, both HMO & PPO, so I speak from experience on this. She is TOPS!! read more

We took our 4 month old daughter there to get her ears pierced after getting referred to her for the service. The best part about her office was the good quality earrings they sold, and the nice lady up front. The first thing The doc asked was "who is your pediatrician?" After we told her who it was, we literally got attitude the rest of the visit. Not only was she not friendly even from the get-go, (I'm sorry, but you are a kids doctor...you should have at least one friendly bone on your body), but when it came to piercing my daughters ears, so did them CROOKED!!! One earring was actually up on her cartilage, and not her lobe. She took zero time to talk to my baby, be gentle with her, etc. After she pierced them she just walked out - not saying bye to us, telling us if there was any aftercare, nothing. Just walked out. God forbid if we had to ask a question! We called afterward to let her know the earrings were crooked, and they said to take them out and and wait three months to come back in to get re-pierced. We will definitely not be going back there to get it done. read more
