    Farmer's Omelet

Another great visit to Borsalino. I had the Farmers omelette with braised pork, shaved parmesan flakes, onions, cherry tomatoes with a side of arugula salad with lemon vinaigrette. The flavor was amazing and I would get it again. For coffee I had an Americano. I worked from the location for a few hours and they have high speed WiFi. They were very busy on Friday with a lot of to go orders and groups and a line when they opened at 8am.

Keep bringing these quality restaurants to Plantation! I stopped in on a morning of running errands. I am so happy that I did and I can't wait to come back. I had the chicken pesto sandwich and my friend had the short rib Tartine. To say that they were both excellent is an understatement. I had an iced tea chai latte, which I forgot to take a photo of because I devoured immediately. If you're in the area, stop in and you will not regret it.

Had a bad experience right when I walked in. My bf and I chose this place since it's listed as a "coffee shop" to come do work. We put our stuff down on the couch and got eyes on us from the people working the front, the guy said that since we're only 2 we couldn't sit at a 4 top. Since it wasn't busy, he let us sit there but every time a 3+ party came in, we would get stared down by him like it was our fault. It just made us uneasy our whole time there. Once we paid out, they didn't care to refill our waters. Food was average and I could get better coffee and matcha elsewhere. Won't be coming back. Menus were trash too for this "nice" establishment. Heres a tip to the people at the front: go read the book "Unreasonable Hospitality"

Hidden gem in unassuming plaza. My wife said the Strawberry shortcake latte was top tier and advised her Greek omelette was also very good, and a good size plate. My only complaint was the monte Cristo bread was a bit softer than it probably should've been. Would return, has outside seating and takes Apple Pay. Great for a quick breakfast date.

Pleasant experience at the French influenced cafe, even with the busy Sunday morning crowd. The prompt service, tasty meal and cozy decor was key factors with my positive visit. The server, Janette, was efficient and the food met my expectations, especially the fluffy pancakes and well prepared eggs with bacon and a side-car of maple syrup. The price of $12 for a meal like that seemed reasonable. The bathroom was well maintained and modern, with nice touches like the gray and white marble flooring including an affixed automated hand dryer. It's always a good sign when a cafe pays attention to the cleanliness and details in areas like the restroom, especially in a busy setting, which enhanced the overall ambiance of the cafe.

Totally unplanned family breakfast and consulted Yelp! We were minutes away. Ample parking and got a space under a tree for this Florida sun. The place is quaint and has both indoor and outdoor seating. We were seated quickly outside and moved when some space opened up inside. The restaurant was full but not crowded, seating is nicely placed so you don't have to say an obligatory hello to a new dining buddy. The menu is simple but options for everyone. There are no breakfast cocktails but they do have wine, champagne (mimosas and Bellinis) and beer. The food did take a bit of a wait but staff communicated and apologized consistently. I had ordered my salmon well done for my child so technically it's a bit more custom. The food was AMAAAA-ZING!! I had the pesto potato and eggs! Baby had an adult sized salmon pasta (sorry name escapes me) and hubby had an omelette. I had my entire meal! Perfectly seasoned and tossed with crispy onions throughout I'd seriously return to get it again. Little man just wouldn't stop eating his pasta, he did have some fish but ate an almost the entire pasta himself. It was delicious and I'd highly recommend it. Why can't I remember what my husband had though? lol too engrossed in my meal and flirting with my Bellini! He did enjoy it and that's what counts! We all enjoyed the meal and the staff are just as great! I think you should go try them! Hope you enjoy as much as my family did! Live & Love!

My husband and I came here for breakfast and really enjoyed the overall experience. He ordered the Borsalina Breakfast and I went with the Breakfast Platter. I also had a matcha with coconut milk and vanilla, while he got a cold brew and a side of pancakes. The food came out looking fresh and well presented. The croissants were buttery and flaky, the eggs were soft and flavorful, and the hash browns were perfectly golden and crispy. The pancakes were light, fluffy, and just the right amount of sweetness with powdered sugar on top. Both of our drinks were well made--my matcha was smooth and balanced with the coconut milk, and his cold brew had a nice, strong kick. The only reason I didn't give a full five stars is that while everything tasted great, the portions felt a little on the lighter side for the price, That said, the atmosphere and service was inviting, and the food quality definitely makes it worth coming back. I think we found our new breakfast spot!

    Lavender latte & Matcha latte

I've come here a few times since moving to the area and everything I've had so far is great (food, drinks and service). This was my first time trying one of their hot lattes and it did not disappoint. If you're in the area around breakfast or lunchtime give them a try. I prefer outside seating to enjoy the weather but inside seating is very nice as well.

The food was good here. The service was also good. I would equate Borsalino to an upscale Cuban venue. They have some innovative takes on traditional Cuban dishes. What I liked most is there fresh squeezed juices. They also had coffee. The lavender latte was amazing. I am not really a fan of the coffee they use. I had a double expresso and it was just okay. The salmon Bagel sandwich was great. I had a short Rib open faced sandwich. On this occasion the short ribs were dry. It was like a pulled beef, but dry. I think they were having an off day. On another note, I saw other patrons with rice bowls and they looked amazing and the portions were quite generous. All in all, a great experience.

For a tiny spot, it's a cozy atmosphere that doesn't feel like you're packed in and too close to the table next to you. Compared to other plazas in the area, it's a quiet area that doesn't have cars all over the place. Staff is friendly. The strawberry shortcake coffee was a little too sweet for my taste, but that's a personal preference. I was served my coffee drink in a plastic cup, which I thought was odd, considering it's a hot beverage. I would appreciate to have my coffee served in a traditional coffee mug. The blue cheese short rib was ok, but I can't quite place what was missing for the taste. I would give this place another try and try some of the breakfast dishes and a different coffee next time. My sister enjoys going for brunch. It's not a fussy place, so if you just need something easy to get in and get out, give it a shot.

Wow, what an absolute gem to find this place! I just recently moved here from Texas and was trying to find my go to coffee spot! Boy am I happy I found this place! George, the (owner-I believe) is always working daily at this spot! He not only helps clean tables and runs food but you can see him talking with guests! I love how they have a decent sized partly covered patio so when the weather is nice you can sit outside! It's also dog friendly patio with well behaved pups! So that's a plus! My go to drink is their dirty chai tea latte iced! They put cinnamon on top of it and it just adds such a nice touch! I've tried their smoothie and some of their breakfast items! Which are delicious! The lattes are to die for and my favorite is the lavender latte! Perfect for spring! The inside is nice and cozy with several tables for light work! Such a great local neighborhood spot! You will not be disappointed with this spot! Give it a try!

    Short Rib Flatbread

This is a modern restaurant with chic decor. It is very clean and the staff is attentive. I ordered the lavender latte which was really good. I also ordered the short rib flatbread - it had more onions than short rib and it was just ok. Someone in my party ordered another short rib item (sandwich?) and an omelette and they liked it. I would return and order something else. Would recommend visiting.

What really bothered me was that the owner didn't make any gesture of goodwill to make up for the mistake. Not even offering something small for free as an apology. I ended up without my birthday cake, and they ended up losing a very good customer.

Now, I noticed the All About Empanadas sign is affixed to the building and also imprinted on the front windows with a small "The Bakers" logo on the side. In my opinion, the interior lost its unique musical charm that set it aside from other cafes. The rock music banners, records and phonograph have vanished, although a new large wall mural exists with The Bakers logo.
