My family and I had such a wonderful time at Nakorn Thai! We were doing a small birthday celebration and would definitely recommend. The ambience is so lovely! Very clean, modern, bright, good energy. Every single server (especially the male server) were absolutely amazing. So kind, funny, knowledgeable about the dishes, and helpful. Really brought so many smiles to our faces. We tried the Emerald Fried Rice which was great, albeit a tad too spicy for my taste (spice lovers will enjoy this). We also tried two curries which were super flavorful (Penang and Red) and a drunken noodle which was yummy too. The chili cashew dish was also super tasty and savory. Not too spicy. We ended with a chocolate lab cake and they sang a happy birthday for me!! So sweet. I loved it! My only feedback would be the music selection. There were mostly 2010s hits playing, and don't get me wrong, I love so many songs from that time but it felt like it made the vibe less classy? I was craving some background music or jazz or something more in line with Thai culture or something. But hey, I'm nitpicking. I had a great time and I'll be back! Thanks for making it such a special night :)

Nakorn Thai is a great addition to Summit. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I had the NKPD crispy half duck with Pad Thai noodles, which was perfectly cooked with a nice balance of crispy duck, scallions, and peanuts. The space is cozy and nicely decorated, service was attentive and friendly, and I really liked that it's BYOB. They also have a good variety of mocktails. Definitely looking forward to coming back and trying more from the menu.

I've been here twice, both times to celebrate birthdays. And both times I've really enjoyed the food. This place will be on rotation for me. The service is attentive but not obtrusive. The interior, lovely. It's casual but also feels upscale, making it perfect for any occasion whether that be a celebration, date night or a standard night out. Prices are fair for Summit and the only negative is parking but it's Summit and that's to be expected. I highly recommend the Massaman Curry, the chicken curry puff appetizer, the fried calamari. I'd say this restaurant is pleasing to American palettes v being extremely authentic. Nonetheless, I like everything about this restaurant.

Some of my coworkers was asking me if I had gone to dine here yet and I hadn't, so of course, when I had the time to go, I went with my family for a Mother's Day lunch ! We had just gotten there by 1130 or so, so it wasn't very busy. There were maybe two or three other parties dining. However, by the time we left, it slowly became packed ! They even had the whole middle of the restaurant reserved for a party later in the day. The decor was very pretty and modern, and the food was honestly very delicious. We ordered roti for an appetizer because it's a family favorite. Then my mom had a crispy duck pad Thai, dad had green curry, and I had one of their fried chicken dishes. Everything was so good -- the duck was perfectly crispy and fatty. The fried chicken wasn't too dry, and the green curry came extra spicy as asked. Mango sticky rice, another dessert staple was yummy. The balance of their coconut sauce and the sweet mango was perfectly. Would def come back!

We are in the midst of discovering all the good restaurants Summit has. Came here recently for lunch and really enjoyed the overall experience. We came right at the start of the lunch time, they were not that busy so we got seated right away. Really pretty decor and vibe. We loved our food, really good flavors and our sides were yummy as well, will definitely come back.

    Panang Avocado Salmon + Cockroach?

Spring rolls were good. Juices were good. The Avocado Panang Curry had potential on first taste, but... Finding a bug in the meal completely ruined the experience (see photo), especially considering there were only three people in the restaurant at the time. Perhaps it was a one-off, but it was still very concerning. To their credit, they didn't charge for the meal. However, given that I ended up vomiting afterward, I do feel further compensation might've been appropriate. I had high hopes coming in, but left feeling extremely disappointed.

A solid 4 star experience. Very friendly staff and great ambiance. The noodles were fresh and overall tasty, though I felt the pad thai was not as sweet as I prefer (it was more sour than sweet, but I like a 50/50 balance). Will definitely come again to try more dishes

I wanted to come to this place so many times and today was my lucky day! I love Thai food and let me tell you this place is a gem!!! Omg the food was DELICIOUS!!! Nom, nom,nom everything I tried today was very tasty. Love the attention to details and the presentation of the dishes. Our waiter was so kind and attentive and the ambience and decor of this place is so pretty and very cute. Modern meets tradition really like the vibe. Also the place was very clean what an exquisite place. I am so coming back and I must try some of the fish dishes specially the whole red snapped with 3 flavor sauces.

Nakorn Thai is a lovely restaurant with a very nice ambiance, great food and large portions! I made a reservation on the phone for a Friday night and while it was busy here, there were enough empty tables that you probably wouldn't have had to wait too long without a reservation. I really loved the vibe and the decor here, it's a very bright and vibrant environment. We started out with the Green Papaya Salad to share; it had a great flavor and a nice little kick. For my main course, I got the Green Curry (my favorite) with tofu and additional veggies. It is a little bit on the pricier side but I guess that's about average for this area. The staff was very kind and were very patient with us as we enjoyed some time catching up even after we were finished with the meal.

Such a beautiful restaurant! The lychee lemonade was amazing. The avocado salad and Nakorn chicken were so delicious. The pad Thai was a little on the sweet side for me but otherwise, everything was great.

Food and service was awesome! This thai resto is new but is making the right moves! Include the descent interior design of this resto. Feels like your on a fine dining resto, the food presentation is also neat. Accepts credit/debit card. High chair available. See image and video for further reference

Small local restaurant just outside of Union center. We were able to easily find street parking…read more Fast, friendly service... quite the disappointment when they didn't have the sliced beef appy which we requested... I ordered my standard pad Thai with shrimp and friend got the garlic beef with veggies and brown rice. Both were delicious, although not spicy... we had requested a 2 and a 3 out of four. Would rather have it less spicy than overheated, but definitely added more chilis ourselves. Reasonably priced especially for the portions! Would definitely recommend and return!

Unfortunately, I did not take photos…read more I ordered the fried pan dumplings, but unfortunately I received steamed dumplings instead. Normally, I'm not a big fan of steamed dumplings, so I was a little disappointed at first. However, the flavor was excellent and definitely exceeded my expectations, so I can't complain too much about the mix-up. The real star of the meal was the Yellow Curry Crispy Duck. Absolutely amazing! The duck was cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the curry had incredible flavor. I ordered it with spice level 1, which was just right for me and allowed all of the flavors to shine through. My only real complaint is the portioning of the rice. While the half crispy duck portion was quite generous, the amount of rice provided didn't seem to match the amount of meat. For the price I paid, I feel like the rice portion should automatically be adjusted to complement the entrée. Having to request extra rice just doesn't make much sense when there's plenty of duck left over. I'm usually not picky about things like this, but considering the cost of the meal, I expected a little better balance. Other than that, the staff was friendly and welcoming. The restaurant itself is a small hole-in-the-wall spot with a cozy, authentic feel. It's the kind of place that locals seem to know and enjoy. I actually discovered it while heading to a Mexican restaurant with some coworkers and decided to give it a try because I'm a big fan of Thai food. Overall, I'm glad I did. The food quality was excellent, the flavors felt authentic, and the crispy duck alone is worth coming back for. Despite a couple of minor issues, I would definitely recommend giving this place a try. If you enjoy authentic Thai cuisine, you'll likely leave satisfied. Authentic taste and quality ingredients--everyone should give it a try!

We were there 10/14/23…read more I wish we lived closer, the food was delicious! Sweet Chili Red Snapper was delicious. It was pieces of fish (glad it wasn't a whole fish) that were crispy on the outside and tender inside. The sauce was sweet and spicy delightful combination. I love whole fishes but hate eating them in a restaurant, so much work LOL Volcano Pork Shank (Osso Bucco Style) was a chef special and the pork was tender falling off the bone and spicy! Be careful if you can't handle the heat, ask them to make it mild lol Thai Iced Tea and Lychee Iced Tea, I'm so happy they offer the Lychee version as it does not use milk (dairy and me are not friends...) but still used the same tea as the Thai Iced Tea, YUM! I ordered a Shrimp Pad See Ew to take home and it was delicious. Pad See Ew is my go to at Thai restaurants, which makes it easy to compare. Even though I ate it the next day, the noodle was not soggy. It was not too sweet nor salty. My only comment is that there was only 4 jumbo shrimp, I would have prefer a bunch of small shrimps so I would be able to get a shrimp in every bite vs eating the shrimp separately from the noodles lol Service was excellent! If we're in the area will definitely stop in again!

This restaurant is located in a small group of street lined businesses, with parking along the street. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating on their patio. It was a chilly day, so we opted to sit inside. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive our entire visit. We ordered the Pad Garlic and Pad King lunch specials, both with chicken and hot spice level. The lunch specials come with a salad dressed with a sweet dressing. Our food was out in record time and was piping hot, so it's definitely a spot if you are in a time crunch- hello power lunch! We both thought our dishes were packed with flavor and although they had heat, we could have went with Thai Spicy. If we were local, this would definitely be our go-to spot!

1 Star - Absolute Rip-Off. Check Your Bag Before You Leave…read more I'd give them zero stars if I could. I ordered a large Tom Kha soup with both shrimp and chicken for pickup, and apparently, "large" means "half-empty" in their kitchen. To make matters worse, they completely forgot the chicken. I paid full price for a premium, multi-protein soup and ended up with a container of half-filled broth and a couple of sad shrimp. Charging customers full price for missing ingredients and cutting corners on portion sizes is a blatant rip-off. If you're going to order from Tasty Thai, bring a measuring cup, a magnifying glass, and check your food at the counter before you walk out. Absolutely ridiculous.
