I wish I could be putting up a better review because he does good work, but if you still see this post still it means that he hasn't come back to finish the work. I will update again after the 27th to let you know how honest and trustworthy he is. --- Suspecting a Fraud in Progress Similar to Nir B's experience, I am getting the delaying tactics. Daniyar Tuyakbayev (from Aesthetic Metals or Glass Railing Doctor) visited my house in January 2022, collected $8,500 (half of the total estimate) to order the glass panels for my deck railing, and promised 2-4 weeks to completion in writing. Since then he has not started the work, blaming supply chain issues with the glass industry but refusing to provide any proof that the glass panels have actually been ordered. I am filing a complaint to the county attorney's office to investigate a possible fraud. I will provide updates to this post if there is any progress, and would be happy to retract this review if the work actually gets done or when I get refunded. But if you still see this post, it means that the work hasn't gotten started, I'm still $8,500 down, and please don't fall for a possible fraud.

In addition rust is already showing through the painted steel they installed. Some bolts are missing and the gate lock doesn't work or fit the gate frame. We have had the remedial work quoted by another contractor. They quoted $3,700 to paint the railings and 'make good' the unfinished work. We have tried to contact Dan Tuyakbayev of Aesthetic Metals several times. He said he would finish the work. He agreed its of poor quality and not finished. He has failed to complete the work, contact us or turn up. This has gone on for months and is deeply frustrating. We have requested a refund several times. He has not refunded us or completed the work. Some of his email replies have been threatening, untrue and unprofessional. I would not recommend anyone to use this company.

We had him put Siding, Windows and Stone on our house, and paint the exterior. What a mistake. He said he would have professionals do the work. But instead had an inexperienced carpenter with one stone job under his belt handle it and it shows, they opened every box of stone to look for certain pieces that is now non returnable. They left thin set all over our walkway which will never come up. They left siding pieces and nails all over our yard and driveway. Covered up our light fixtures and left exposed wires behind the siding. Removed part of our deck to install siding and never reinstalled it, leaving it wide open so my toddlers could fall through it. Removed our gutters and destroyed them in the process and never even asked if he should install new ones which led to damage to our new pillar which instead of replacing it the correct way he wants to put automotive bondo on top of it to fix it. that's funny I thought bondo was for cars. He painted and left over spray all over our new windows, BBQ pit, and patio furniture He said it just comes right off because its water based, but never took the time to even clean it, he said that I could do it. A real painter would have taken the time to tape it off or tarp it. The gate he built was suppose to last forever, and it held together for 1 month hardware was installed wrong and it fell apart and the fence boards popped out. After I called him numerous times he finally came out to finish what he started a year ago with an attitude and said I was wrong. That's funny I thought the customer was always right. Two years later my permit with the city is still outstanding and our house is not finished, and what is finished is done half ass. When he tells you it going to take three days it usually takes longer at your expense. If you want to believe his friends and neighbors reviews go ahead but my experience with him was a nightmare and still is. Next time I will hire a union contractor, pay the extra money and get it done right the first time.

Jeff is awesome. He's really easy to work with, and gave good overviews of my options so that I could make informed choices. The tile guys he works with do beautiful work -- they made the super inexpensive Home Depot tile I used look fantastic -- and everyone involved kept the mess to a minimum, and did a great job cleaning up. I'm definitely going to be calling Jeff when I'm ready for the next project, and I have already recommended him to various friends who have remodeling projects on the horizon.

It should've been a red flag for me when the wood Delta had delivered was in the wrong size and finish then what I had ordered. But my friend used them and said other than leaving the place a bit messy, she was happy with her finished floor. So I said not a deal breaker and took another day off work to have the correct wood delivered. Delta said they could finish over the weekend, in 2-3 days, since it was a small space, prefinished, glue down application. They came Saturday but then all of a sudden said they had to glue down only part of the floor and come back on Monday to finish the rest "for the glue to dry so they can make sure the floor is installed straight". I think they more likely had a competing job, but long story short, it took them until Thursday (so I had to delay my trip out of town) to finish the floor. Cons: - I came home one day to find them installing in the kitchen without tearing up the linoleum and without installing underlayment which is against condo rules. I made them tear up the install and lay underlayment but I never would've known if I didn't come to check on them. However, Delta claims they didn't do it since that wasn't part of their 'procedure' which pissed me off. I don't care what your procedure is, I came home to find a not so brand new floor; so are you implying I did it? There was just a LOT of excuses throughout the whole process. * "Oh, the wood you wanted is too narrow so it took longer (so a half inch narrower than what you thought led to 6 days instead of the 2-3? 2.5 inches isn't THAT narrow. And it was frustrating to come home on a delayed job to find one guy took off at 2:30pm on multiple days). * "The guys didn't break the toilet 'cause otherwise they would've told me (then who broke it?!). * "It's not our job to clean when we leave, you should hire professional cleaners for that (are you kidding me?!). * "The brick on your fireplace is uneven and we don't undercut brick" (sorry, but I don't think it's the client's responsibility to subcontract your work out, if you can't do it, hire someone that can...I'm paying you to get the job done. p.s. here's a video of how to do it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SV2G7gJh2es). I felt like I constantly had to be on-site to keep an eye on them which is a job in itself, and overall, an 'Eek!' experience but bumped up a star since they did fix most of the issues (although they tried to take shortcuts for repairs like only re-installing baseboard on half of the wall since you have to look to the side of the fridge to see the rest --seriously?!) and since Johnny's so nice (but he won't be on-site, you'll just deal with him for the payments/specs).
