    Great Music !

I just stopped by here because the music so good my friend knew the band. Definitely a good place to check out. It's the last piece before the pier on the right side.

All of their food is excellent!! the pineapple jam on that burger is serious. Their bartenders have 20+ years in the game and run the place like pros. The best restaurant on Venice Beach with tons of seating inside and out, literally right on the beach. and if you feel like surfing, they even have guest boards you can grab from inside the restaurant and take to the water. This place is a blast. I'll definitely be back ASAP.

August 29, 2025 | Venice Beach | Nalu Vida is beachside, has eye-catching, colorful dishes, along with an incredibly flavorful Poke Bowl! Poke Bowl | A bowl of colorful ingredients with memorable flavor! You have a choice of Ahi Tuna, Salmon or Beets! The mouthwatering combination of Sesame Oil Tossed Red Cabbage, Pickled Cucumber, Garlic Edamame, Radish, Ponzu, Avocado Chile Oil, White Rice, & Bang Bang Sauce memories makes me crave a bite! Yum! This bowl is a vibe! I highly recommend! Decor | Beach-y, as it's on Venice Beach & even has a surfboard actually secured onto the ceiling! Plenty of colorful & stylish seating inside, as well as an extended outside patio! Word of Mouth | My friend was in town via Italy & we ran into my neighbor/friend as we were stepping onto the sand! He invited us to lunch at Nalu Vida! He eats there often & one of his favorites is the Avocado Bagel, which I'll have to try soon, as I've not seen a bagel quite like that before! Customer Service | Our server Carly was friendly, as well as helpful w/the menu! Everyone that appeared at our table was friendly as well! Welcoming atmosphere! Overall | Yes! Grateful that this colorful restaurant is just steps away! While I want to explore the rest of the menu, I would easily walk right over for that flavorful Poke Bowl! Let's go!

What's not to love? Beach bar with great food + daily happy hour deals! I happened upon this place on my first visit to Venice and grabbed a spot on the street/patio. There was great people watching and the service was great. Nice spot to grab a drink and a snack -- or more. If I had more time I would have sat there all day. Happy hour deals were great, views were even better. Good vibes all around.

Great service and food. The chips, salsa, and guac were fresh. Flatbread and tacos were good and perfectly filling. Such a cute place with good vibes / music!

I went to this place a little after Happy Hour on Thursday. Thursday nights also features a live jazz band on the heated patio. There was also a rams game on at the bar, so this place had a little bit of everything. The drink I ordered was the old fashion with 14 year old scotch, there was a rep from Glendfiddch there and she was giving out free drinks. The food was good, the chips and guac was fine, their red salsa was good. The crispy rice was also very flavorful, the hosin sauce drizzle on the plate brought it all together. I looked at the specials and couldn't resist getting the in-n-out burger flat bread. Ok first of all, it does taste like in-n-out, I was shocked and surprised! For $17, I thought it was reasonable and tasty. I would like to come back for brunch when it's a little warmer but the heaters were perfect. The service was also good, the food came out fast once we were able to order. I think there was only 2 servers when we were there so it just took a little bit to track them down. Overall, it was a decent evening.

We spent the day at the beach and this place is literally the first restaurant when you leave the Venice Beach pier parking lot so it was perfect for us. I love the outdoor seating and the patio seating is nice if it's a little too chilly in the evening. The food was delicious. We had the catch of the day which was Rockfish, the oysters, and a couple poke bowls. The fish was cooked perfectly and even the rice and bok choy were both flavorful. The poke bowls were delicious and had a great variety of vegetables with plenty of flavor. The best part of our visit was our waitress, Dominique. She was so patient with us answered all our questions. She was attentive and gave us some great suggestions. We will definitely be back.

First line on the beach, you can see the ocean with a good espresso martini they have a variety of drinks and delicious fish taco or vegan Dorito tacos, reasonable prices and a really good customer service thank you, Ashley

    Breakfast burrito!
    Sarah K.

Our volunteer fire relief group got breakfast burritos from here several times over the course of a few weeks, and there is something about them that is truly magic. Maybe it's the ratio of hash brown to everything else, maybe it's the gooey cheese, maybe it's the tortillas, maybe it's the reasonable size and not feeling awful after eating it - maybe it's everything! The staff was also very kind and supportive. Highly highly recommend, and can't wait to try more.

This spot has improved by leaps and bounds! I've been coming to this area regularly for the better part of 20 years. My first few tries soon after they opened left me wanting a little more flavor and uniqueness (particularly in the chicken sandwich), but with this beautiful location I had high hopes that this place would grow as they settled into their new space. And YES they did not disappoint! Came for breakfast yesterday with kiddo and today solo and both experiences were stellar. Chill vibes, tasty food, attentive and kind service, all tempered by the sound of the waves in the distance. The burrito is by far a stand out, and my kiddo nearly finished all of her French toast, eggs, potatoes, and bacon (and passed the fruit on to me). I guess it's a testament to my reinvigorated pleasure that I came back So glad I have another place to pop into when I want a taste "Venice".

Super cute place on the beach. After a long walk we decided to stop and have a snack. All day happy hour... yes please. Our server Cayley was the best. Very nice and on it. Always there at the right time. She had a bunch of tables but was still there when we needed something. The little had a cheese burger and gave it 2 thumbs up. Being a fry connoisseur these were good. The wings were cooked well, but I wasn't a fan of the sauce. Too sweet for me. I definitely recommend the Marg. It was great sitting under the cover but we were still outside. Definitely check this place out.

Customer service was amazing, the drinks were strong, and the food was fresh! 10/10 vibes in the restaurant as well, the heaters are powerful for cold nights and the games will be on the TV's. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and will definitely be back!

Once freshening up, we all walked from my place up the boardwalk to Belles Beach House! Excellent customer service, a variety of delicious dishes and an inviting atmosphere made for a memorable dining experience! 2 Orders of Crispy Rock Shrimp | Shared | This dish was a vibe, and one of my favorites! Plentiful, memorable flavorful & you can't just eat one... You'll keep craving more, which we all did! I highly recommend! Miso Maple Salad | Shared | I selected this salad, it was unique, has quite the bite to it, and I enjoyed it! I would order again! Includes crispy, quinoa, heart of palm, jicama, avocado, snow peas, gem lettuce, and miso maple! Garlic Butter Noodles | Shared | What a favorable combo! I would easily order again! Passion Fruit Mousse | Shared | I took a bite, which was yummy! If an island had a flavor, I feel this would be it! Haha! 2 Orders of Spicy Tuna & Salmon Avocado Roll | Shared | Yum! Both were delicious & The spicy tuna roll was my niece's favorite dish! Sharing is Caring | Shareable plates were my idea, as there were five of us! Why not sample the menu in all of its glory, as well as order a little something, each of us like?! After all, it was my first time dining here! Though all of us enjoyed the shrimp, one bowl of the shrimp was definitely enough for all of us! We didn't know the portion would be so huge! Family Affair | It was exciting having family in town to visit & I selected this restaurant for lunch! I knew that they appreciated places that were aesthetic, as well as had great food! Belles Beach House served Island Glam & memorable bites! There She Glows | She naturally glows, once you step inside, the lighting is so nice! It's such a beautiful place! A extra large seashell, as well as larger than life, wooden carved tiki figures, front and center greet you at the door... full-on Island vibe! I love the decor; wicker lamps, plush seating, including a few long tables, which are great for groups! Customer Service | Everyone that arrived at our table was super friendly, attentive easily, service with a smile, even though the place was super busy! While I couldn't remember everyone's name, Ryan's name was on the receipt as the server! Thanks again to everyone! Reservations Please | She's very popular! I highly recommend making reservations, unless you want to wait! If you have to wait, at least you're at the beach, walk around, look inside the shops, & maybe even put your feet in the sand! I had booked online with my card, which they request ahead of time! Los Angeles Food & Wine Event | I first tried flavorful dishes from Belles Beach House, while attending this event, solo! I enjoyed the samples and knew I would eventually dine at the restaurant! Friday Night Vibe | As part of our spontaneous girls night out, we stopped by for a bit and this place was packed! Good vibes all around and the atmosphere gets me every time, it's such a beautiful sight, very pretty place! When we arrived, the entrance was constantly blocked by the hostess and security chatting. One staff member told me to head to the bar to order, but security then acted like I was doing something wrong. A little communication between staff would go a long way. At the bar, I was skipped twice while waiting to order. When I pointed it out, the bartender told me to "hold on" while assisting a 3rd walk up after me. I asked if we could move to an open table with table service as there were many empty for ghe hour we had already been there and was told no because they were too busy. Fair enough, but that's exactly when management should be visible, coordinating staff and helping guests. Instead, when I spoke with a manager, the response was essentially that he was focused on the bar area. Good management oversees the entire operation, especially during peak periods. I was one of 5 people in our party who spent around $100 on food and drinks (apx $500 spent in total), yet the service was a mess. If it's self-service, that's fine...but make it clear and make it work. Instead, I was skipped at the bar while ordering, staff gave conflicting directions, and there was virtually no support once we had our food. We found ourselves constantly going back and forth to the bar for drinks, utensils, soy sauce, and anything else we needed. No one checked in, and getting help from staff or management was nearly impossible. The food was decent, but the customer experience wasn't. Venice Beach is always busy. This shouldn't come as a surprise. If you're going to market yourself as part of that vibrant community, you need the operational standards to match.

I don't usually leave negative reviews because I always try to focus on the positive aspects of a…read morebusiness and give credit where it's due. Unfortunately, my experience at Great White in Venice left me disappointed, and the main reason was the service. First, we arrived around 9:15 a.m. after seeing that the restaurant opened at 8:00 a.m., only to find out that opening had been delayed until 9:30 a.m. Honestly, that wasn't a problem at all. We waited outside, and when guests started arriving, we got in line and ended up being among the first few parties seated. The food itself was good, and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. My issue was with our server, Nate. I understand that everyone has bad days, and I also work in the hospitality industry, so I try to be very understanding. However, the service felt extremely cold, detached, and uninterested from the beginning to the end of our meal. I'm not expecting over-the-top friendliness or a formal introduction, but there was virtually no warmth, no engagement, and no sense that he wanted to be there. Throughout our visit, an older gentleman working on the floor (possibly a busser or food runner) showed far more hospitality, attentiveness, and genuine care for guests than our actual server did. After we had finished eating, I ordered an orange juice while waiting for some pancakes to-go. I was asked whether I wanted the juice for here or to-go, and I specifically requested it for here. I then waited approximately 30 minutes. During that time, I received my check, paid my bill (including a generous tip), and watched multiple tables that had been seated after us receive their drinks and food while I continued waiting. My server walked by several times, looked in our direction, but never followed up or asked if we were still waiting on anything. Eventually, I flagged down another server, who was very kind and immediately looked into the situation. She returned and explained that the orange juice had apparently never made it onto the screen. However, I had taken a photo of my receipt, and the orange juice was clearly listed and charged. The issue was never the $10 orange juice. Mistakes happen. We all make them. The disappointing part was that nobody simply acknowledged the mistake or offered a sincere apology. A quick "I'm sorry, that was my mistake" would have completely changed the experience. One additional observation: I was told that cash is only accepted if you have the exact amount. That's perfectly fine, but I think that policy should be clearly posted at the entrance or on the restaurant's website so guests know beforehand. Again, I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, and I genuinely wanted to leave a positive one because the food and atmosphere were enjoyable. Unfortunately, hospitality is about more than just delivering food to a table. Based on this experience, it seemed that our server either dislikes working in customer service or was having a very bad day. Either way, many other staff members we interacted with demonstrated the warmth, energy, and hospitality that guests hope to experience when dining out.

The ambiance is beautifully done, modern coastal. Perfect for a comfortable but elevated dinner. We started with the bread service, chili wontons, and gem lettuce. The gem lettuce was fresh and simple, reminiscent of Jon & Vinny's in the best way. For entrees we had the butter shrimp and Scottish salmon, both really good, no complaints. But honestly the appetizers stole the show for me. Would definitely come back just to try more of the starters. Such a good spot.

The Caesar was not great, and no one mentioned it comes with whole anchovies on top. I'm fine with anchovy in the dressing, but the actual pieces were a lot. The service is REALLY BAD, it took almost 15min just to get a waiter/waitress (when the place was basically empty). When we finally got one (who I suppose didn't think telling us her name was important at all...), it was as if ordering food from her was a total inconvenience to her day when the place wasn't even crowded... The food was not very good either. The ceviche came out extremely fishy and when I told the server this she did not apologize nor try to make it right and gave us a ton of attitude, verbatim saying "what do you want me to do about it? They can't remake it; it's already made and is too tough for the kitchen to remake" - which tells me they are still feeding fishy ceviche to other people, which is alarming and she acted as if I should just eat it anyways... [this was a younger blonde girl in a hat] very strange behavior and extremely poor hospitality. The drinks are super watered down with too much mixer and hardly any alcohol. My girlfriend's fried chicken sandwich was super dry (she didn't finish it as a result) and my burger was pretty awful with little flavor (and very overcooked/charcoaled). The chicken dippers were ok, nothing special - super overfried to be honest (I guess the sauces were decent tho?). The french fries and broccolini may have been the best parts, which is alarming when the sides are significantly better than the mains (and even they weren't very good and had a TON of salt - the broccolini was the only thing we finished). The chips and guacamole were pretty flavorless and we left most of it uneaten. Overall, again, I recommend AVOIDING this place at all costs despite the appearance of a good ambiance just cause it's near the beach, as YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED and waste your money.

The N17 burger and fries (both the regular shoe string fries and sweet potato fries) were fantastic! Both were cooked just right, very flavorful, and the fries were nice and crispy. The atmosphere and design of the restaurant in front isn't your typical "sports bar" - it feels more like a cute, sunny brunch restaurant with high-quality screens for sports viewing - but the clientele feels just like any other sports bar would :) It was very lively and fun to watch with others last night. Even other venues that are 5x bigger than this one have better customer service/attentiveness.
